Picked this up day one on my pay and played it nonstop until I beat it. Absolutely loved the game play and story of this game.. will definitely be picking it up to revisit on the ps4. . Also I didn't play the story dlc so that should be fun !

I really don't understand why the vita couldn't have been made with L3 and R3 buttons... I just picked up my first ever vita about 2 weeks ago, I got the new slim version that's bundled with borderlands2. I really loved that game on console, but the main reason was because it was super fun to play with a few friends. I didn't get my vita for multiplayer in any way shape or form so I haven't really played much of borderlands. I have been having a blast with ff10 and soon ff10-2 though !

max Payne is a badass. I don't know why people didn't like 3. I friggin loved it... He was such an awesome character in it. reminded me of man on fire with denzel

@blindndeaf well its an open world game, and you drive cars in it... but that's pretty much where the comparison stops for me.

I got called away for work so unfortunately I won't be gaming at all :/ but as soon as I can get back home I will be diving back head first into watch dogs ! I'll also be picking up murdered soul suspect on Tuesday, but probably won't start it for quite some time as I'm pretty hooked on watch dogs

I for one am very glad it did so great on day one and I hope to just see those sales keep going. I think the game is absolutely brilliant. so many crazy things happen you would think the game was entirely scripted. I really do love it.

I can't stand going on big gaming sites seeing people complain about the tinyest of detail or yet again comparing it to that infamous e3 2012 footage. drives me insane. lol.

Honestly this game is everything I hoped it would be and more. I think the driving is great. I've been able to weave in and out of traffic getting away by the skin of my teeth much better than in gta 5. I find the hacking can be absolutely brilliant when you use it smart like when taking down gang hideouts for example. so wild. Some of the crazy chases and things I've pulled off are so much more impressive when you realize none of it is scripted in any way. It's a totally open world game that has these crazy moments that feel like they were set up in perfectly. gta had a few of these moments as well.. what comes to mind is on a mission with trevor chasing the airplane that's going down, you hit this jump and just as you do a train passes and you just fly right over the train... well this game has been doing these sorts of moments nonstop since I started playing ! so Damn psyched.

@eLarkos I couldn't have said it better myself, man! I was saying this exact same thing to a friend recently. I know the industry has always had delays, but the last year or so has just been absolutely ridiculous.. and I feel it is because of these new consoles trying to build the hype for them, and people are buying the consoles with the idea in their head that they would be able to play certain games at certain times and it just ends up not happening.

you're totally right, these developers have been doing this for long enough. they are professionals and they should be able to gage when their game is going to be ready to goto market.. and the fact that so many AAA studios are missing launch dates is just scary.

I think the division in particular is a really good example because there was leaks from inside the company very early on saying that there was absolutely no way that game was going to be ready for 2014. Hell they've even come forward again saying that they think 2015 is even a stretch. So obviously these developers know they're not going to make these dates, but they're still throwing them out there half hazardly like it's no big deal...

@get2sammyb you got it man! You guys keep giving the goods and I'll be here haha but no really for playstation news this site is my goto place 100% I love it. I haven't really found the equivalent for xbox news, I know there's pure xbox but I don't find it anywhere near as good as this site. actually I use majornelsons blog when I want to comment and talk xbox.. but yeah keep up the great work, I hope these publishers wake up soon and start forking over the review copies

@get2sammyb hey man this is a little off topic from my reply, but I was just curious.. so I noticed that for wolfenstein as well as watch dogs, this site didn't have a review ready for when the embargo lifted.. I was just wondering so do you guys not get access to review copies of games? if not I think that's total bull crap. I find this site becoming more and more my goto site for great opinion pieces, reviews (albeit later than other sites) and just a generally awesome community. I see you guys get quite a bit of regular traffic, so I'm wondering.. why the heck aren't you guys getting early review copies ! I most definitely think you deserve them.

@get2sammyb I'm not so sure about that. people with next gen consoles are starved for content at this point. Especially with the big holidays in December you always see a huge jump in game purchases. I feel as though these games are still going to sell decent, just not as fast as they would if they were launching say in the summer. The more games that come out for the platform, especially being exclusive, the more consoles they're going to sell.

Sonys in a great position being the early leader, but they really have their work cut out for them because xbox is most definitely in it to win it, and they are going to bring the content. Whether they're developing it themselves with their 1st party studios like Black tusk or if they have to just fork out huge sums of money to keep certain things off the rival consoles, they will be most definitely pulling out all the stops necessary to even this console war up.. and like I said, the real winners are us the gamers. Even the guys that don't have an xbox and are total playstation fanboy 3.0 and would jump in front of a bullet for their ps4.. lol even those guys benefit from xbox going as hard as they are. It keeps Sony on their toes and makes them continue to push the best possible value and games.

to be honest xbox is looking pretty good in the exclusive category compared to Sony right now.. with games like sunset overdrive and quantum break coming in 2014 and also not sure if fable is this year or not ? but yeah.. including what I'm sure is going to be a huge e3 for them I can start to see xbox getting back into the fight!

which of course is nothing but good for gamers. The stiffer the competition between the two rival consoles the better the consumer fares out! I am so pumped to be a gamer right now because there's so many exciting things coming. I really do love my ps4 and xbox one, they're great machines but their potential hasn't even begun to be shown yet.

I preordered watch dogs on xbox one.. I'm starting to feel like I made the wrong choice and should have gotten it for my ps4. I really want the best looking console version because I have a huge tv so it makes a big difference.. The reason I preordered on xbox one is because more of my friends were getting it on xbox than playstation so I was thinking about playing together online.. but the more I think about it, the more I think I'm probably not going to play anywhere near as much multiplayer as I am the single player. ugh decisions decisions lol

@KALofKRYPTON I've totally stalled playing wolfenstein. I was really enjoying it when I started it last week... thought it was amazing. but now I'm in chapter 10 and the game just can't hold my attention anymore. It could possibly be because I'm so excited for watch dogs tomorrow, I don't know.. I really want to beat this game but it's just gotten so slow and boring. :/

@THEundying27 Haha honestly I wasn't even going to bother, since it seemed to go right over his head as to why I answered the way I did but I'm glad you did because it was pretty ridiculous. Grappling and combat is the oldest sport around and anyone that relates it to some sort of homosexual fantasy, obviously is the one with some issues.

Don't know what you're talking about by it being dull. ufc games are great fun. I'm a huge ufc fan, trained mma myself for quite a while and just can't wait to get my hands on this one. looks incredible. I just can't wait to be able to have online matches with friends.

Yeah its strange, I'm not a big fan of baseball at all, but I've been debating on getting this game.I think it's a combination of a few things all of which the article covered. One, that the graphics seem crazy impressive and I want to see it for myself, and two I'm kind of bored with all my next gen games at this point. of course that's all going to change in the next 2 weeks with wolfenstein and watch dogs.

I'm hard at work on bound by flame(ps4) ! I think this game got such a raw deal with reviewers. I am enjoying it so much I'm about 24 hours in at this point so I think I'm nearing the end. I want to get it beaten for Tuesday so I can jump into wolfenstien right away on my Xbox one.

@Webster225965 haha oh yes very much paid for, never a thief, just knocked out a guy who very very much deserved it. Unfortunately hit him a little too hard and his orbital bone may have been fractured and when I say may I mean it was.. whoops. lol aw well I still get to goto work and I'm allowed in my backyard with my pool for the summer at least haha. not sure why I'm telling you this but whatever hahah.

cannot freaking wait to get into this game. Just started a 6 month house arrest so I sure hope this game is as jam packed as I think it is lolol good thing I've got my very own theatre room complete with an 80 inch samsung smart tv to play it on

I really hope this game doesn't get delayed. it seems like games are being delayed so often these days, it's really getting quite annoying. I wish they wouldn't attach release dates to games unless they are absolutely confident it will be ready. Now the division has been delayed as well.

except for sports games. I usually only get NHL, and tiger woods every second year or so.

Wow. The game space is really starting to get crowded around sept/oct/Nov isn't it? going to be some pile of games. And I'll probably end up picking them all up lol. I'm crazy for collecting so usually end up with pretty much every AAA release of the year. can't wait to fly through wolfenstien next week before watch dogs drops !

@Wesker it blows me away at the fact that some people are not satisfied with ps+. If you own a vita, ps3 and ps4 you get easily over a hundred dollars worth of content free per month, and if you just own a ps4 well you're paying for better multiplayer as well and always a pretty much brand new game monthly. it makes me sick to see people being such entitled babies. ps+ is an amazing value and I'm so glad it exists. especially now because xbox is following suit and trying to one up them on xbox on by offering 2 free games a month on xbox one as well as xbox 360. I'm looking forward to picking up those free games as well.

@get2sammyb sorry, no I don't agree that's what they should do. They did that for the better part of a year, and it wasn't right. first of all, their original vision was the vision of Don Mattrick who is a total douchebag and was completely out of touch with who the xbox audience was and who was keeping the xbox brand alive.

So, no I don't believe they should have kept plugging along with that original vision. they have finally been humbled by the consumers who have spoken with their wallets on what they wanted and Microsoft hasn't just decided to say let's do everything sonys doing... they're doing what the fans are asking for, and for that I believe they are finally starting to get it. I applaud them for it and am proud to support them just as much as I support Sony.

I know it's great to root for the underdog and I'm so glad Sony has taken the lead this cycle because I think they're an amazing company and I know they needed it. I've been gaming on Sony consoles since I was a child and I'd hate to see that in jeopardy.. but at the same time I don't have a problem rooting for the big bad corporation Microsoft when they start getting it right!

my mind is seriously blown at all the people that I see taking a stand against games if they're not natively 1080p or at a lower framerate. seriously blows my mind. If I ever start to rate games depending on their resolution or framerate someone shoot me in the face... please. Nuff said.

@DaftPlayStation really though ! We enjoyed games that were natively like sub 600p on the ps3 and 360 last gen.. not just enjoyed but loved. I agree that this gen should be better, but it is so far. 900p natively for any normal person is just as good as full HD. people are forgetting what truly makes these games memorable and fun. I'll never look back on games years from now and say... man that game was so great, but it only ran on 900p so I never bothered finishing it. like, how ridiculous right?

I find it so weird that Sony posted that the other day, I wonder what made them do that if they didn't know the game was going to be 1080/60 fps. very strange

Some people really don't have a clue. THIS is why competition is great. This is why we need MORE than just the playstation or just the xbox. At the start of last gen xbox was absolutely dominating because of sonys cockyness and selling the ps3 for like 599.. so what did Sony do? they started all these great things like ps+.. and they copied Microsoft by getting trophies... well GUESS WHAT now the shoe is on the other foot, that's all that's happening. Sony came out on top this gen with a bunch of great features and deals... and now because the competition is doing so great, Microsoft have to catch up and start delivering to consumers by removing the pay walls and going with a ps+ type system. This isn't something to make fun of them for people.. Sony had to do the same stuff last gen. I think it's GREAT to see these companies trying so hard to win us over. competition is great which is why I'm not some goofy fanboy who thinks the other console is the devil.

I don't get it. I don't see anything that he said that hints at the ps4 running the game better than the xbox? not that it's that hard to imagine, because I'm sure it will run at at least a higher resolution. I just don't see where he said that.

honestly I can see this game being 1080p 60 fps on the ps4. I think we're going to start to see more and more games hit this as developers have more time with the ps4 hardware. it's obviously an extremely powerful machine, now its just upto the developers to start being able to optimize their games better and better for this machine. The longer the ps4 is out the better the optimization will be.

I've put about 4 hours into this game so far tonight and I've got to say.. I'm loving it. I really am. I can't believe all the terrible reviews it's gotten.. I'm going to keep playing and maybe I'll understand soon, but as for now this game is great, I'm loving the customization and the leveling system. and I think the combat is seriously awesome.

All the business mumbo jumBo aside, I can't wait to play this game ! it looks sick! can't wait to see what else xbox has in store at e3 this year. Sony as well of course.

Haha it seems strange to me that the people who always say they're not interested in titanfall or they think it's stupid etc are ps4 owners that don't game on pc... now if that doesn't set off some alarms in your mind I don't know what to tell you. people's cognitive dissonance won't let them see any potential in a game if they can't play it on their platform of choice. then you have people like me who enjoy games, not consoles having lots of fun with titanfall AND games like second son.

And as for downsizing.. they removed the vaio division and looks like their tv division is next, they just sold all their stock in square Enix.. I think it's safe to say that's called downsizing. @Cowboysfan-22 to be fair, dayz is in alpha.. The concept and things they're adding to dayz for the final product actually seems pretty awesome. but yeah I've been wanting to see a game like this come to consoles forever I'm really excited for this.

It's pretty much the main reason I'm starting to buy more games for my ps4 than my Xbox One. Also, I love the dualshock 4. can't believe I'm actually saying I like the playstation controller better than the xbox one. times surely have changed.that and better games coming.. hell bound by flame isn't even coming to xbox one and watch dogs has exclusive content as well as destiny. it hurts to pretty much abandon my achievement hunting since I don't find the trophy system as good. it's crazy realizing how addicted to the achievement systrm I really was.. for the first few months I still bought the xbox versions of games even though I knew the ps4 ones ran better. They knew what they were doing when they made that achievement system.

I consider myself a pretty hardcore gamer. I play pretty much every genre and gaming is the pastime that I spend the most time on.. that being said, I tried to get into dark souls and just couldn't do it no matter how hard I tried to like it, I just hated it's guts. I actually had to stop and consider if I really was as hardcore of a gamer as I thought it was. I consider myself to be above average skill wise in most genres so it made me start to wonder if I was really as good as I thought I was.. anyway cpl years go by and dark souls 2 comes out and I decide I'm going to give it another go. same thing. But I've come to the conclusion that it's one of those rare games that just doesn't click with me at all. I enjoy a good story, and as far as I can tell the story in these games is pretty much non existent and is pretty much left to the player to infer what is going on. next is the gameplay.. I need to have quick responsive controls that respond when I give the command.. not 5 seconds later. It just drives me crazy.. anyway so I'm hoping if this game does go the dark souls route they make the controls much more responsive ! obviously this is just my opinion as I'm sure there are plenty of dark souls lovers out there.

I found this site through the app called appy gamer. it's the absolute best thing since sliced bread. it pools gaming articles from probably a hundred different gaming sites and let's you add topics you want to read about... I spend so much time on that app. gaming is such a huge part of my life so I love it. anyway I was enjoying the articles I was reading from this site, so I joined up

As bad ass as sephiroth is.. He got his ass beat by cloud and thats the end of him.. raiden gets [BESTED IN BATTLE], arm chopped off eye gouged out and only comes back stronger.. I gotta say raiden takes it.
