Nier Automata or Persona 5 Royal pretty please

I've just finished Uncharted trilogy and was looking forward to play Uncharted 4 from Playstation Plus Collection. Having skipped the entire PS4 generation, I love all the remastered and re-releases, but unless the remastered brings new story to the table, I'm not going to pay full price for this. Especially if I can get the games for free instead (or very cheap in case of LL). Will probably play Persona 5 while waiting for more news on this release

Personally I think 4k and 60fps patch would be enough for those games. I've enjoyed all the games from the trilogy, despite sligthly outdated graphics - the story is what kept me going.

I'm still hoping all of those are wrong and we're getting Ender Lilies!

EDIT: Nevermind, just found on Twitter that due to unforeseen circumstances, the PS release was postponed to later this year

Personally, I'm really hoping for Ender Lilies - the release date is on 6th of July for PS4 and PS5 and there is no pre-order available. This one + Plague game and I'm extremely satisfied.

That being said, the remoured games (Uncharted + WRC) are not half-bad either.

I'm heavily considering It Takes Two (25% off) to play with my wife, but having skipped entire previous generation my backlog is so massive I barely have time to play and finish all the free games on PS+ Collection and games like GoT, RDD2, TLOU2 are super tempting as well

@nessisonett I might have phrased my question incorrectly. I was wondering whether there is a way for people who claimed the game via PS+ in March to play Yuffie episode without buying the whole game. Either via (paid) PS5 upgrade, or standalone episode download, if it exists?

Is there any way for PS+ members to upgrade to Intergrade, or purchase the Yuffie DLC seperatly? I'm really enjoying the game and would love to play the extra content, but I don't see any reason to pay full price just for a single extra chapter (I don't care much for PS5 upgrades, game looks and plays good as is)...

@JapaneseSonic Thanks for the reply! £25 will not break the bank, but I guess my question is whether "bigger and better" is enough to justify the extra price, considering I have a standard version for free and for the similar price I can get another full game like Ghost of Tsushima.

If the added features are making up for a complete different experience, then Royal would make sense

What's peoples' take on Persona 5 Royal vs standard Persona 5 edition? I have the latter for free through PS+ Collection and was wondering whether it's worth spending £25 for Royal.

Other than that Witcher 3 Complete Edition is 80% off (not mentioned in the article). I've completely skipepd through the last-gen, so looking forward to play this one finally. But I'll probably wait for the PS5 patch before that.

Bundles with fighters should come with additional controller! Most people will probably play with their friends local multiplayer (at least that's what I do with all the fighting games?) seems like a missed opportunity not to include 2nd dualshock

Not a surprise, the Wii U didn't receive any huge discount on black friday. I'm confident that if the system dropped to below 200 quids here in UK, it would be at least half the amount of PS4 sold, if not more. Unfortunately the best bundle discount we got was Mario Kart and Splatoon for 219 on Amazon (same as XB1 and almost PS4

@Gamer83 Funny enough I had different experience - bought PS4 when my Wii U gamepad broke and had regretted the decision ever since. Sold the PS4 and looking for a good bargain on Wii U now, it's truly an amazing console, especially for coach co-op with your mates

Ever since I saw the trailer those few years ago, I've been waiting for more info - makes me kind of sad CD Project Red used most of the resources towards The Witcher and not this game Also, Cyberpunk was one of my favourite paper RPG back when I used to play it due to its climate. Its simply fantastic!

I'd love to play some titles from PS3 era, as I skipped the whole gen completely. To be honest, I am more happy with remasters, but I know they're not gonna remaster every single game. Me myself am really interested in Catherine and would love to play it, however I don't see the game being remastered ever, so backward compatibility would be amazing.
But if working on backward compatibility would slow down development of new games or other interesting hardware, then I really don't mind not having it

I've downloaded it 3 days ago and ever since tried multiply times to play online, but it kept saying that I was unable to connect to the servers. Had few matches against computer but it's not that fun in a long run. So far I have to agree with @Cron_13 online is terribly bad and 9;/10 is waay to high for game with such problems, at least for me

Although I'm sure the game must be 8-9/10 for those who have no problem with connection issues

They should improve pvp first, add duels, more battlegrounds etc. and then play around with new content... lack of pvp was the reason I quitted
But still, Blitzball might be a cool concept. I didn't like it in FFX but online and action-based (like fifa maybe?) would be pretty interesting!

Which would you recommend more if I were to pick only one fighting game on PS4? This or Mortal Kombat X? I was thinking of getting the latter recently but might change my mind

Maybe a game for Sony's Project Morpheus where player becomes a super hero and fights to save the huge, virtual online world and a TV show about exactly the same thing (maybe with better developed version of Morpheus where virtual life plays a huge part of everyday, real life)?!
That would show that players are not nerds and geeks as stereotypes show, but instead are needed in the world, ego boost for all of us!

That guy reminds me of Phoenix Wright, maybe because of the blue suit and spiky hair? It's also based on similar concept - exposing lies. Might be interesting, I like puzzle games! (but I don't have PS vita....)

@mitcHELLspawn I've actually read the books ages ago. Also, I'm Polish so I read them in the original language, and I've got to say, the books are truly amazing, everyone who likes fantasy should read them But that only adds further disappointment to the first game... maybe I should give it another try? or jump straight to the 2nd part as I've heard it's much better?

With all the hype for Witcher 3, I bought the first two parts on PC in order to get the story and prepare myself for the game but... I couldn't really get past the first 3h in Witcher 1, the game is simply boring and combat is really unimaginative. Maybe it gets more interesting later, but I follow the rule that that usually the first opinion you shape about the game doesn't change much later... Nevertheless, maybe I'll give it a shot later, then the game gets cheaper

Bloodborne was the best game i've played in a while, literally couldn't think of anything but hunting more and more beasts. I liked it more than soul games. Hope they'll release huge DLC soon!

Really looking forward to Final Fantasy! I played it ages ago when I borrowed PS2 from a friend of mine for a week, but that's not enough to finish the game (considering I never owned a console before and had to try every game he had!). So finally I can catch up haha

@get2sammyb it took me somewhere between 4-5h to finish the game on normal diffculty including collecting most of the collactables... this however doesn't include the new dlc Yacht Club Games gave for free, but I dunno how long it is.

Don't get me wrong, it's a fantastic little game, if you have some spare money get it by all means! However for me it's simply too short for me to justify $15 price tag

Shovel Knight is an extremely fun game, but not worth the price tag of $15, it's simply too short. I even regretted buying it on 3ds for that much Maybe I'll wait for the discount and buy it again on PS (although it'd be super awesome if it was PS+ game for May！)

About Type-0, I agree the graphics aren't top-notch, but I really enjoy the gameplay and storyline is quite interesting as well. But that might be only because it's my first final fantasy since ages (uhm, last one was number 3 on PS one, maybe?). Can't wait for X/X-2 remastered.

Final Fantasy Type-0 just doen'ts get enough love bought the game few days ago it's its simply fantastic, can't stop playing. It was also released in March, wasn't it? how could you forget, pushsquare?!

as far as I am concerned, I only play through game once and usually never ever return to it, no matter how much I liked it (With Gothic I and II being exceptions, which I completed both 2 times! ). There are simply too many games I want to play and too litte time and for me it's a bit of too boring going though the same stuff again when you start a new games (even if you can take different path). But the again, I usually never watch the same movie or read the same book more than one time. It's simply not my cup of tea

But I understand some people might want it

I'm actually happy, haven't had playstation console since playstation one so I'm super excited for all the remasters. Can't wait for Final Fantasy X and X-2 as well!
