Ever since the new Kojima Productions was formed, Hideo Kojima has been hinting that there's a greater mystery behind the independent studio's logo. And he's finally revealed it today, showcasing LUDENS – a sci-fi knight covered in bottle caps – which serves to illustrate the vision behind the veteran's fresh outfit.
"We'll deliver the new play in the new future with the cutting-edge equipment, technology, and the frontier spirit," he wrote on Twitter. The character even harbours a cheeky Metal Gear Solid reference. "The gear he's wearing is the extra-vehicular activity (EVA) creative suit." Never ever change, Kojima.

Can't say I hate it, but it's strangely uninspiring. But, whatever, lets see what they bring out.

I think I am on the side of #team-meh. I wouldn't go so far as to say it was 'rubbish' but its certainly not inspiring or 'cool' - at least not in this limited context.
The outline logo has more 'cool' about it but maybe with a bit more setting, Skeletor in a space suit could raise my interest
Also I wonder if "Extra Vehicular Creative Activity" is really a nod toward EVA of MGS.. It's got an extra word in it for starters. EVCA.

another #teamRubbish here, the armor kinda looks like a big angry bird :/ but then again, it's just a first sketch of whatever it will be in the future? So I suppose it would either improve at some point or will just look really cool in whatever setting his next game gonna be.
I think it looks cool. It's really hard to make a space suit with Spartan styled helmet look not-cool.
It looks like a spastic duck morphed with an 80's astronaut. At best.
I have no doubt his next game will be a metal gear solid style exclusive for PS4 or PS5 since he started pretty late in PS4's life. Naughty dog is only making one more game for PS4 and they would have started a while ago.
