It's a bit of a filler week here on Planet PlayStation, as a storm labelled The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt lurks on the horizon. There's no doubt that CD Projekt RED's hotly anticipated role-playing release is the title that's on everyone's lips, and so proceedings are looking a little light this time out. To be fair, though, there's no shortage of stuff, with Final Fantasy X|X-2 HD Remaster making its PlayStation 4 debut alongside the standalone version of spin-off story The Last of Us: Left Behind. There's some decent downloadable stuff, too, with Nom Nom Galaxy and Toren all vying for your attention.
Pick of the Week: Final Fantasy X|X-2 HD Remaster
You've already played it a dozen or so times before, but for fans of the franchise, Final Fantasy X and its bizarre girl group sequel will never get old. Fortunately, then, Square Enix is giving you another opportunity to experience Tidus and Yuna's whirlwind romance – we're already welling up over that glittery spring scene.
Sure, the story may be Shakespeare for weeaboos, but that doesn't mean that this re-release isn't worth your attention. With cleaned up visuals, full cross-save compatibility, and the ability to toggle between the title's original and remastered audio, we daresay that you'll be desperate to return to Spira yet again.

This week in my life: Should I keep money for Witcher 3 or ESO ?
Really looking forward to Final Fantasy! I played it ages ago when I borrowed PS2 from a friend of mine for a week, but that's not enough to finish the game (considering I never owned a console before and had to try every game he had!). So finally I can catch up haha
Excited for Final Fantasy X!!! Haven't played it for years!! A replay is definitely on the cards!
@Melucine None of the above. Keep money for Batman: Arkham Knight is the right answer
@Wesker I am thinnking that option too, but also I don't mind to wait for a complete GOTY edition.
@mateg @jonny_aces
I have it for my Vita, it's worth it since it is actually 3 games FF X, FF X-2 and a rogue like game cant remember it's name which is much better that anything similar on Vita at least.
so is ther any difference in the visual quality between the PS3 and PS4 editions?
@feral1975 Final Fantasy? I believe it looks a bit sharper, yeah. Nothing major, though.
@get2sammyb is ArcaniA a decent enough game to throw money at? I already have The Witcher 3 preordered and getting Project Cars Tuesday morning. Just wondering if it was worth the time and money in the midst of those two.
OOHHH MMYY GGOOOOODD!!!!!!!!!!!! from out of nowhere DOUBLE FREAKIN DRAGON. im obviously the oldest person here. double dragon (arcade version) is one of my two TOP favorite games of ALL TIME, the other being street fighter2. double dragon WAS my childhood. sorry for all the caps but BEST NEWS EVEEERRRRR!!!!WWWWWOOOOOO

I wanted to buy the X/X-2 remaster until I remembered what a pain in the ass X was...my gawd so much grinding and that robot crab on the beach and Sin were awful. Oh god and Tidus...how unlikable.
>_> But...Nostalgia...Need...FF...
@PS-Vigilante The Arcade Archives haven't been coming to Europe so far, so I don't see why they'd start now.
Thanks sammy, gutted now though
I will download Double Dragon and buy physical Final Fantasy
@Gmork___ right we will coop this. I'm 34remember it well.
Yep, I'll be getting Double Dragon as well.
Already have Wonder Boy, Bomb Jack and Rygar and I didn't even know that Terra Cresta had been released in the meanwhile! Well at least on Japanese PSN, so I'll be grabbing that as soon as I get my points code in the mail.
Loved that game, so much so that I got the PS2 re-release as well back in the day.
Personally really looking forward to Toren. I do love Indie games and this one looks really interesting.
@get2sammyb Really disappointed that it won't be coming to europe, I would have loved to play a true port of DD again
@themcnoisy don't play with my emotions man lol.........are you saying that you know for a fact DD will have online co op!?!?. Oh man, now we just need part 2!
@Gmork___ unsure, but if you collect trophies you will get 9 in 5 minutes, open the settings, access the scoreboard, reset the game hmmmmmm.
