Also, not sure about the tag ‘boldest bet yet ‘ . If it is to mean that it’s different from the norm , GOW ps4 was different and a completely new move. It’s nice to have a change. If a new GOW is similar to the last two major ones , then it will be boring as it’s too much of the same formula . Even ragnorok got a bit boring (gameplay mechanics ).

People forget , Microsoft are a ‘software’ company, and they are generating a lot of money from this . Good on them. This whole exclusive thing is pure nonsense in today’s world. PlayStation has not ported to Xbox but they port to pc , and they also profit from this. Those who want to have those exclusive restrictions would not be very good business partner/owners.

In my subjective opinion. I couldn’t get on with the first , nor this, but tried my best . I know there was hate cause of a main character dying , and then the player controlling the killer. I can understand why people don’t like it when they have an attachment to a character , but not many seem to understand the reasoning behind it (or just a bunch of Wet wipes). I didn't like it as much cause it’s just not my thing , and that’s all there is to it . Good gameplay though in some sections , but there are an abundance of games that have good gameplay. As for story , in the history of gaming , not many games have hit a home run with storytelling. And if they did , it’s subjective to the viewer. Sad the arguments that go on hear . Go outside and touch grass or something

I had premium for a while , but just ended n up buying a couple of those old games I’m interested in for nostalgia (Toy Story 2 ) as they are cheap anyway. It’s really not worth it in my opinion. Gamepass is much better . Claire 33 and doom are great additions and with Tony hawks 3-4 coming up, it’s much better for me . No point have two subscriptions if one is way more superior. Just an opinion. I know this is a Sony fan site , but as it stands , their service offerings are far inferior to that of Microsoft .

People think frame rate makes a game good. Ha. Just wait till next gen is 120fps and some titles remain now remain as 60fps . Everyone will sing the same song and suddenly 60fps is not good enough. Pretty sad really

Why can’t gamers have their preferred platform and just be happy to play games. I’m in favor of having no exclusive games in either platform . In fact , for multiplayer games , it is better to have across the platforms as it will increase player base and matchmaking times . I’m so sick of this ‘war’ and the fan boys . Some of you trash talk Xbox but are happy when they release games on ps like sea of thieves and Indy , but will go ape s**t if Sony put god of war on Xbox (which they basically did with pc ) I have all consoles and I prefer some games on one and others on another and it’s all down to my friends and what they own and on what platform . Can’t people just stop defending brands as though their lives depend on it . It’s pathetic . You would not do this with other brands like coffee , wine , chocolate , clothing etc . Let everyone enjoy all games cause isn’t that the point ? Games for everyone to play. Also, you may defend Sony in so many articles and hate on Xbox or others , but do you really think Sony as a corporation really care about you? They want money and that’s all. Look at that concord . It failed as a business decision . Clearly that shows they don’t care by releasing that garbage . Yet you think they care if they sign exclusivity . They only care about money. Clearly many of which moan and groan all the time have literally no lives at all.

Unfortunately, live service is here to stay. There may be some failures along the way that try ti catch the money train, but because of games like Fortshite , I mean fornite , and rocket league , they make a shed load of money , not to mention the mobile market . So there are the brain dead consumers that pump money into these things to get an outfit etc . That’s why they’ll never stop as there is always room for one new game to break through. Just play goldeneye again and you’ll be fine

Gran T has got to be the most boring racing games ever (opinion) . I don’t get the hype at all .

I’m not usually into this genre as for me it’s usually boring . Open chests , walk, open chests walk and so on. Last one I liked was eternal sonata cause of its colorful nature and the fact that it was reference to one of the greatest composers ever lived .

I tried this as it seemed colorful, but that battle system is messy and too chaotic. I had no idea what the hell was going on.

It might play well and look pretty, but it’s a complete rip from Mario games particularly sunshine and galaxy . Not a bad thing , just saying

@Keyblade-Dan well Mario kart 8 is a system seller and cause of the dlc people may have sold and wanted to get after it’s all released .

As for games like gta v and fifa, it’s mostly chavs that buy them, sell them after to fund ‘habits ‘ and then buy again . It’s a cycle and I used to work for gamestation 15 years ago and the same happened for that year of gta 3/vice city and fifa whatever year that was .

Particular PlayStation owners as that brand seems to attract the chavs

After the amazing shredders revenge but unfortunately folowing it, the trash that’s being released of that franchise , it’s good to see this along with the power rangers game to keep that old school style and at the same time make the game actually look fun and play exceptionally well.

@nessisonett I agree . I would much rather have ps2 ports . They seem to just run better. Don’t need to have any enhancements really . Just play them how they were cause I remember when owning a ps2 a long time ago, that most games just ran well , especially platform games . Let’s hope . And let’s also hope they allow us one day to download those on the premium and not stream only . My internet can’t take that

I went from premium to extra cause I’m sick of psp game offerings. I was hoping for ps2/3 and think they look much better . PSP games were diluted versions of franchises cause if it’s power and portability , and being blown in on a huge screen is sore for the eyes

@PuppetMaster ah, it must be 4 then. In all for good storylines , that connect gameplay segments together , but too much is too much. 3 isn’t bad as that is just above the uncharted series lengths in total I think.

@J2theEzzo maybe I’m just really bad at it . But although what you said can be helpful to players if the game , there is no denying that there is a huge market of casual gamers that either don’t have time , experience , or patience , but would also like to experience those type of worlds etc . In reality , the only affect it’s going to have is more sales for the devs as they do only cater to one audience . Not by genre , but my skill level . I guess that’s why the Wii was huge success as it was so accessible at the time , but that’s another topic for another day.
