Was waiting for RE3 to hit PS+ so I'm glad about that one. Other than that I might have a go at the Phoenix Wright Trilogy. The rest of the additions are pretty bad imo.
Played it for a bit and had fun.
It really has nothing to do with gambling except it uses a few poker terms.
From what I've read the game isn't even based on poker, but on a cardgame called Big Two.
I really don't care about spoilers. Knowing the plot really doesn't make me enjoy a game less. There are even times when interesting spoilers made me play a game I wouldn't have otherwise (spec ops the line for example).
I'm kinda mixed on the Tales of series. Symphonia is probably the game that made me love jRPGs. But the later entries always seem to fall flat for me. Either the combat doesn't feel satisfying and/or everything just feels overly complicated.
I actually like titles leaving PS+, it gives me a deadline and the motivation to actually finish games. This month I might take on the Tchia platinum before it leaves.
Great month, rollerdrome is the highlight for me but I might try out the other two. I dislike soulslike games but hopefully steelrising has enough RPG elements to make it fun for me. Foamstars sounds like it could be fun.
It really feels like a game that's going to sell really well once the price drops to the $20-$30. I really don't think you can charge full price for these 2D games and expect succes.
I have only played twin snakes on the NGC as a kid and I'm kinda scared that these are gonna be too outdated to enjoy when I have no nostalgia for them.
I kinda wanna finish the Callisto Protocol for my 20th platinum, even tho I'm not really enjoying the game so far. I also wanna continue my Sea of Stars journey and maybe go back to Horizon Zero Dawn.
I did play it on PS Now when that was still around. I might go for the platinum but tbh thee first 10 hours were great but after that there was a HUGE drop in quality for the last 30 or so hours.
House of ashes and Alien: Isolation are nice with halloween coming up. I might play through the first one and hope it's a lot better then the first 2 anthology games.
Eh, I can wait till it becomes free on PS+. The first spiderman was good but waaaay overrated and I haven't tried Miles Morales yet. I'll prob get the platinum at some point but there are so many games in my backlog that I'd rather play.
Really hyped for Callisto Protocol, even if it's as mediocre as most reviews say, I prob still gonna have a blast playing it. Best month in a while for me.
If it ever comes to PS plus I might give it a go. Tbh there are very few AAA titles that live up to the hype these days so I usually stick with indies and older titles that I know are good.
I played the Dark Souls trilogy back when I still cared about playing difficult games. But I got so burned out by the whole genre by 3rd game, I really don't see myself ever going back to it.

Re: Smash Hit Indie Roguelike Balatro Has Sold Half a Million Copies in 10 Days
Played a few rounds, it's pretty good. It very much has the potential to devour every free minute I have available in the upcoming months.
Re: Ori Dev's Action RPG No Rest for the Wicked Gets a Huge Update, Gameplay Looks Amazing
I really don't need any souls-like influences in my ARPGs, I'll probably stick to Last Epoch and PoE2 (once it releases).

Re: There's a New Super Monkey Ball, But It's Exclusive to Nintendo Switch

Doesn't really matter to me because I never buy full priced games anyway.
Re: 13 More Games Coming to PS Plus Extra, Premium This Month
Really hyped for the Tales games. Symphonia was the game that made me fall in love with the genre and I haven't played Arise or Vesperia yet.

Re: Poll: Are You Playing Tekken 8?
I'll only play it when it comes to PS+.
Re: Tekken 8's Trophy List Provides a Pretty Easy Platinum
I will go for the plat when it comes to PS+ at some point. Tekken 7 had an enjoyable plat even tho I strongly dislike online trophies.
Re: PS Plus Extra Loses Another 10 PS4 Games Next Month
I might for for the RE7 and Tacoma platinums before they leave.
Re: Poll: Are You Playing Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown?
Nah not for me, I want to get more comfortable with not owning Ubisoft games.
Re: Granblue Fantasy: Relink Demo Out Today on PS5, PS4
I have way too many jRPGs in my backlog. So I doubt I'll find the time for this one.
Re: 14 Games on the Way to PS Plus Extra, Premium Next Week
Solid line up, happy to replay RE2 and get the plat for PS5 and tiny tina and shadow tactics sound great as well.
Re: SEGA Wonders Whether Releasing Sonic Superstars Next to Mario Was a Good Idea

Re: US Children Want Subscriptions and Currencies for Christmas, Not Games
Doesn't surprise me. I almost completely stopped buying games because I can play almost anything I want on PS+.

Re: South Park: Snow Day! Still Not an RPG in Four Player Co-op Gameplay
Still not interested xD

Was hoping for this. I don't think it's worth the pricetag but I wouldn't mind playing it eventually.
Re: Talking Point: As PS5 Turns 3, How Are You Feeling About It?
I haven't played a lot so far that I couldn't have played on my PS4. It's kinda a let down, I hope they drop the cross-gen stuff soon.
Re: Dev Admits PS5, PS4 Tintin Game Is Unfinished on the Same Day It Releases
Yeah this is why I don't do pre-orders.
Re: Of Course Baldur's Gate 3 Will Be Heavily Censored in Japan
Let me guess, they make all romanceble characters wear panties and be underaged?
Re: Poll: Are You Playing Alan Wake 2?
I just can't really afford full price games, so I'm gonna have to wait for a sale at some point. Pretty hyped for it tho.
Re: Alan Wake 2 (PS5) - A Nightmare We Never Want to Wake Up From
Wow I didn't see this one coming. I might actually buy a game for once this year.
Re: Mini Review: Inescapable: No Rules, No Rescue (PS5) - Slow-Burn Visual Novel Gets Going... Eventually
I was really hoping for more for this, since I tend to like these kind of games. But I'll skip this one.
Re: Poll: Are You Playing Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 1?
I have only played twin snakes on the NGC as a kid and I'm kinda scared that these are gonna be too outdated to enjoy when I have no nostalgia for them.
Re: Blizzard Disables Diablo 4 Trading, Threatens Bans For Players Engaged in Illicit Duplication
It still baffles me how a multi billion dollar company still can't get trading to work in their games.
Re: Poll: Do You Still Play Diablo 4?
Glad I skipped this one. Been a long time Diablo fan, but they really effed up D3. I'll just wait for PoE 2.
Re: Alan Wake 2 Free DLC Will Be 'Pretty Significant', Says Sam Lake
Not really interested in buying incomplete games at launch. Guess I'll wait to see what the "post launch free DLC" is gonna be.
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 498
I kinda wanna finish the Callisto Protocol for my 20th platinum, even tho I'm not really enjoying the game so far.

Re: 8 PS Plus Extra Games for October Leaked Early
House of ashes and Alien: Isolation are nice with halloween coming up. I might play through the first one and hope it's a lot better then the first 2 anthology games.
Re: Inescapable: No Rules, No Rescue Gets Sadistic 19th October Release on PS5, PS4
I like these kind of games once the price drops below 10 euro's. Before that I can wait.
Re: Poll: How's Your Hype for Marvel's Spider-Man 2?
Eh, I can wait till it becomes free on PS+.
The first spiderman was good but waaaay overrated and I haven't tried Miles Morales yet.
I'll prob get the platinum at some point but there are so many games in my backlog that I'd rather play.
Re: PS Plus Extra Game for November Revealed Super Early
Cool concept but not my cup of tea.
Re: Marvel's Spider-Man 2's PS5 Trophies Will Require You to Do Everything
I will get the platinum once it comes to PS+. Imo the spiderman games are decent games that are waaaaaaay overhyped.
Re: PS Plus Essential Games for October 2023 Announced
Great month, will be trying out Callisto and Weird West.
Re: Community: Push Square Community's Best Game of All Time Has Been Decided
I wonder how Zero Escape: Virtue's Last Reward made the top 128, it was by far the worst Zero Escape and the only one on the list.
Re: Story-Driven RPG VED Takes a Turn on PS4 in 2024
The visuals look really good but everything else just looks bland and boring.
Re: Rumour: PS Plus Essential Games for October Leaked
Really hyped for Callisto Protocol, even if it's as mediocre as most reviews say, I prob still gonna have a blast playing it. Best month in a while for me.
Re: Poll: Are You Playing Cyberpunk 2077 Update 2.0?
If it ever comes to PS plus I might give it a go.

Re: Poll: Are You Playing Mortal Kombat 1?
@Ravix well the difference is that the last Baldur's Gate was released in 2000 while the last MK was in 2019 and MK is readily available on PS plus.
