I would rather that they become a responsible, respectable retailer and the shop staff keep their jobs, but with their history of poor management decisions, I doubt it will happen.

I like some of his games, but he seems like a guy who has done a basic philosophy and modern history course and is trying to work through some stuff. The hype and fawning that surrounds the guy is weird and cringy, if he was in the film industry he would be considered a joke figure.

Having a top grossing section and a curated section would be good...Top games in each genre. The good stuff would percolate to the top and save searching through the cross that pops up each week.

I have about 12 games on disc and about 40 on digital.

Cool, hopefully Guerrilla can continue to be like CD Project and reap the rewards.

Besides, I have way too many games in my backlog, I could buy nothing in 2017 and still play new games all year....Too many games.....
Having said that if Shantae or Strike Vector drop in price, I'll be straight in there....

What a waste of a license, the film was utterly rubbish, only for Margot Robbie's ass, it would have been a total waste of two hours. Who keeps giving Synder and Ayers money....Zero quality control....😂

It needs a hell of a lot of development to be even considered as a game. At the moment it's a boring, bug-ridden tech demo with truly awful performance.
The story is rubbish and the gameplay is mundane. As for the game's climax; that's two fingers to the player....
It will be interesting to see how they fix it.

They are still selling stuff, at a discount, but it's sales....

Reasons for reduced sales:
Digital sales
Gamers are older and have less time to play
Less time to play means bigger backlogs and less sales
Gamers wait for a game to be reduced in price or patched before buying
Some games are huge and take a long time to finish
Some games are services and continue to take up gamers time
The sheer volume of games available

GTA still at number 9....wow, what a game.

Looking at ACG's review, it seems like a fairly empty city and a fairly mundane adventure....

Sony XD85 & XD93 55" TV's are currently dropping in price every two weeks. €1300 & €2000 respectively at the moment. Both excellent TV'S.
I'd say on black Friday they will get even cheaper.
Ya need something over 50" to appreciate 4K and HDR.

GameStop in Ireland are saying that the pro may not be available on Thursday due to shipping issues with Sony.

No loss with either game as both are rubbish.

Good stuff, enjoy, thanks the gods that TV is relatively hack proof. Reading about the attack on the web, it could be a test of a botnet or a revenge attack on Dyn....loads of services down at the moment....meh

PSN down in Ireland at the moment, Netflix also buggered. I hope the DDOS guys get caught. Too hungover to play games, just wanted to vegetate on Netflix and I can't even do that....time for a G&T....

Same here....it's got too samey, grindy and still has so many minor annoyances that I'm waiting to see if they fix it/add new stuff....I'll give it a go in six months to see how it is then.

The lag can be negated by turning off all the post processing on the TV and connecting the new controller via cable.

Default at the start then move to hard or easy depending on the how challenging the game is.
A well designed game will challenge and teach you at all difficulty levels.

We will see now what happens: do HG and Sony stay quiet or do they attempt to fix the game and engage meaningfully with the community.
Although the community has not come well out of this with the character assassination of the developers.
I like the game and see it's potential, I hope they fix it.

This the same Sony which has had NMS plastered all over its ads and websites for the last six months.
The same Sony which has treated NMS as a first party exclusive.
The same Sony who relentlessly promoted NMS at all the trade shows and expos.
Hard to believe they didn't know the state of the game.
Hard to believe that they did not organise PR and have a team liaising with HG.
So either Sony is incompetent or worse....bad move by Yoshida.....

Yes, its all over the US forums, seems to be limited to themes, but can affect content that includes themes, even if its old content - ie: previously purchased.
I think that the recent OS update has borked a server somewhere.

Plus 4K TV sets will be about €1300 for a really good model in January....time to start saving or sell some crap.

Day one, baby, day one...
BTW, if you don't have a 4K TV, the Pro is still going to improve games - better FPS, better textures, more environmental details. Most places are offering it for €150 or €200 with a trade in of the 1GB or 500MB original PS4.
So it's not expensive - price of a decent night out.
Don't get all the negative feelings towards it.
