@Bad-MuthaAdebisi I suppose, but aren't trophies a bit pointless, it's like an extra measurement of progress which isn't really needed....just never bothered with them...each to his own....
Yes, the story is woeful, like why would we even be fighting like this, just nuke the bad guys from orbit or send in a heap of droids...the setup and story make no sense...
@get2sammyb
Traded my day one fat boy in just two years ago, was in mint condition after 7 years...great console, mad, with a bad controller (thank you goteki trigger caps)...but still great....
The PS4 is a step up in nearly every department, but I always will have fond memories of the ps3
Looking good, but it will have to be way better than FC4. That game was a monotonous slog, full of cut and paste locations and po faced antagonists... awful stuff. If they can have a world which is interesting and has more to do than climb towers and snipe guards, then I'm game....but it's Ubisoft so who knows...
@get2sammyb I think that you are on to something here. Ultimately it's people who make games and if Sony is letting some relationships lapse with smaller more experimental developers, it's a worrying sign. These games needn't be exclusives, but it's great when Sony can say that it's through their support that the games got made. Besides it's always Sony who have pushed the creative envelope compared to a certain Redmond company. I hope they haven't lost their touch.
As long as the frame pacing is consistent it should not be an issue, just like the first one. Makes one wonder though, the environment doesn't change, the lighting looks ok, so is it the alpha effects that's eating the GPU horsepower?
With the quality of other games in the last few years: the Witcher, Horizon Zero Dawn, Doom...etc, it didn't stand a chance. Makes you wonder about the level of talent in the development company and the level of group think. The publisher is also to be blamed as it seemed to be rushed out the door.
Mostly go digital these days, very few physical games in my collection. Tempted to go fully digital. It's very cheap, just wait till the game is six or seven months old and grab it in a sale for a pittance. This is no problem as I have a huge backlog of games to get through. The only exception to this would be multiplayer games where one needs to level up to keep with the community.
@get2sammyb Yes, in a world of Witcher's and Horizon Zero Dawn's an RPG needs to be truly great and focused. These guys have set the standard and now it's up to Bioware to match it. Perhaps it's troubled development is shining through in the final game....Ah well....

Wait a year when it's on sale and patched. Do this with all games, it leads to a much cheaper, happier experience.
