Traded my day one fat boy in just two years ago, was in mint condition after 7 years...great console, mad, with a bad controller (thank you goteki trigger caps)...but still great....
The PS4 is a step up in nearly every department, but I always will have fond memories of the ps3

Re: Soapbox: Why Did Sony Ditch Two of the Best Games of the Year?

@get2sammyb
I think that you are on to something here. Ultimately it's people who make games and if Sony is letting some relationships lapse with smaller more experimental developers, it's a worrying sign. These games needn't be exclusives, but it's great when Sony can say that it's through their support that the games got made. Besides it's always Sony who have pushed the creative envelope compared to a certain Redmond company. I hope they haven't lost their touch.

Re: Yes, Destiny 2 Is 30fps on PS4, PS4 Pro

As long as the frame pacing is consistent it should not be an issue, just like the first one. Makes one wonder though, the environment doesn't change, the lighting looks ok, so is it the alpha effects that's eating the GPU horsepower?

Re: EA Expects Digital to Account for Almost Half of Game Sales Soon

Mostly go digital these days, very few physical games in my collection. Tempted to go fully digital. It's very cheap, just wait till the game is six or seven months old and grab it in a sale for a pittance. This is no problem as I have a huge backlog of games to get through. The only exception to this would be multiplayer games where one needs to level up to keep with the community.
