This core was probably in use, albeit lightly by the UI and background processes, Sony would have tested these cores at full tilt during design and manufacturing. It's great news though, smoother framerates for games should be coming soon.

Overall its decent, but if you only take the PS4 into account its poor enough. Why don't they use episodic games correctly, an episode a month, and free to play games like Planetside2 could be sorted with a nice setup package.... Starter pack or whatever.

Just don't buy the games, wait for a sale or the GOTY editions, it won't cut out all the micro transactions but it will mean less money for the publisher. Also a petition or petitions organised by gaming sites could garner many signatures against this sort of thing.

Meh, no friends notifications, no custom folders, no new background colours, no library delete functions, no search function in library or community.... WTF are the UI/system devs at?....playing dodgeball, cos its definitely not developing anything anyone actually wants.....

Barely have time to play PS4 games let alone worry about backwards compatibility, if you want it just keep the old console...

Have Witcher 3 fatigue at the moment...my backlog includes: Bloodborne, Batman, MGS5, Diablo 3....
I reckon FarCry 4 was the worst offender this year for sheer pointless padding. I like open world's but the sheer amount of stuff to do is overwhelming. A game with different levels of engagement would be good - say at the start one could choose:
1. Main story and a select few side quests
2. Main story and side quests
3. Main story, side quests and loot hunts
4. Every bloody thing
Each path/mode would be tailored to ensure nothing major would be missed.

Do it, day one buy for me

It's quite good for a beta....a single player story mode would be cool but its still a decent game...perhaps everyone has hyped it too much.

Just played it, great fun, dropships zone, smooth framerate, lovely graphics and sound, great shooting & balance, great maps....

Exactly, plenty of games there that deserve a big fat zero, you would find school projects which are better. Sony needs to do some quality control and review websites need to be ruthless.

If the game is an unplayable glitchy mess it should get 0.

Fast as I'm on 130Mbps connection, always use a wired connection dudes, its twice the speed if WiFi.... No handshake malarkey..
