I learnt from the first PSVR that Sony wasn't going to support this long term. Sure, there's a handful of great games and third party support. But for me I want the big hitters. Even discounted it isn't worth the entry point, unless you have money falling out your arse.
Oh great so I bought the DLC for my psplus version thinking I'd get the update, but now I can't get the update.. ah thanks Sony. So I have to either buy the disk or pay £16.99....
I don't really care for reviews, but I did find it funny that a lot of commenters agreed with the review on here, and said they'd avoid the game. I've played well over 20 hours now, and I consider it a very strong title. Perhaps not 10/10, but I'm having a lot of fun. Perhaps step back and reflect what you're going to type first, before making yourself look like a fool
I suspect these results are skewed because how many younger posters have their own bedroom to play games in? Or perhaps they live on their own? Try having a family, where you don't get time to hog the main TV all the time, and don't want to be anti-social by setting up a separate room. Remote play is a god send.
It's frustrating reading these posts from obvious younger people, much like social media. Always an outrage.
I've played a few, and genuinely surprised at how good it is. But I still think I wouldn't have bought it, and I must admit I probably won't play it very much either. It's just a case of there's way too many games to play.
This such a massive contradiction and major red flag. "But the world has moved on, and more importantly, wrestling games have moved on". Literally every wrestling video game fan has said go back to No Mercy gameplay, and they've literally done that.
For me I still play No Mercy and it's still the gold standard. Wrestling games haven't moved on. WWE games are far more 'realistic' in their gameplay, which comes across as quite stiff, and not enjoyable.
The reason I haven't pre-ordered is that I'm still playing Zelda, and I have an insane backlog of games that already include Xenoblade 3. I just ain't got enough time to play them all these days.
Sony really needed to get these big companies on board for PSVR2, and it sort of highlights why VR will always be a niche market. Sony were never going to constantly release first party releases either, so they need as much support as possible.
I felt it was a game of two halves, where the first was brilliantly realised, then around the middle tailed off, as they repeated a lot of similar style quests.. and the story fell flat. I still would recommend giving it a playthrough.
Yep Death Stranding is my favourite game of all time. I'm about an hour from getting the platinum as well, which considering I've had to max out literally every post.. is insane, but I've loved every minute.
Whatever they do all we'll hear is a bunch of moaning about how it follows the game too closely, or it doesn't follow it enough. The moaning generation.
@wiiware Can I just ask why you think Sony would invest massive amounts of money into a handheld device, that would play PS5 games? They have Remote Play which is far less costly to them, and not to mention that devs won't have to try and port their games onto a handheld device... Streaming unfortunately is the future.
I don't think I really need anything other than the Backbone for PS5 games. I'm finding the experience really good. The problem for a lot of the UK is that they don't have super stable internet, which isn't a Sony issue, but more a UK infrastructure problem.
The problem for me is that I don't see long term support from Sony for first party titles, which for the price point is a definite no from me. Having had the PSP, Vita and the previous PSVR I've just become sceptical of Sony having the backing of releasing the software. It looks like a great upgrade, if you have large amounts of disposable income though.
I mentioned this in the PS+ thread. It's a little cheeky on Sony to do this.
Some people don't want to resub to the higher tiers, but keep the Essential service for the games, and cloud saves. Just because it's only X amount for this tier or that tier doesn't make it justified.

Re: Silent Hill 2 Dev Bloober Team Done with Making 'Sh*tty' Games
@PegasusActual93 There is no reasoning with these 'gamers'. They revel in negativity.

Pushsquare comments section going mental as per usual. Maybe some of you should have a mental health check? Talk to somebody other than this vacuum.

Re: Pacific Drive Gets Photo Mode, New Customisation Options, More in Free Update
@daveofduncan It isn't unplayable but the framerate is fairly inconsistent. It drops below 30fps in parts.

@VicerExciser Did you buy the DLC through having the psplus Fallout 4 then?

Re: No Snowboarding in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth, But Expect Revamped CPR Minigame on PS5
I think they should include more compulsory mini games to annoy more gamers.

Re: Preview: Final Fantasy 16 Is Shaping Up to Be a PS5 Game of the Year Contender
I didn't realise it was Hiroshi Minagawa, who is the art director. Final Fantasy XII/Vagrant Story. Very impressive.
Re: Beyond Good & Evil 2 Reportedly Loses Studio Head, French Labor Investigation Begins
All they had to do was make something along the lines of the first game. Just look at Psychonauts 2... it literally just expanded on the first.
Re: God of War Ragnarok Testers Weren't Bothered by Early Puzzle Spoilers
To me it is bad game design to ever have any character try to give you a hint. It's hardly as obtuse as playing an adventure game from the 90s.

@Grimwood At least he's contributed more to the gaming world, than coming onto a comment section, and giving him abuse.
