@Blauwe_Chimay I've been waiting for a Reforger sale. I was obsessed with OF as a kid. It sucks to hear their servers are getting hit. Do you play with friends or solo? If solo, do you still get 'the experience'?

I don't get it. I downloaded it to try it but I feel like it's just a janky mess without direction. I feel like I'm missing the point of it.

I'm not a fan of them calling it MK1 but I get it...they are continuing the story of Liu Kang going back in time to team up with the Great Kung Lao in the first MK tournament.

It's a shame more people didn't have as much fun as me and my buddy with this game. Got it for like $35 and beat it twice + heroic assaults.

OOOOOHHHHH LADS! CK3 is incredible and I've been dying for this expansion to go live on consoles. Time to brush up on my make up skills since I'm going to look like a ghoul by the end of the week of the 17th.

I could see myself enjoying this on special during a game lull. I hope it reviews well

CK3 was an incredible port to console and probably my favorite game last year and I can't wait to finally be able to play Anno myself instead of watching streamers.

I've played the divinity series - how does Pathfinder: WOTR stand compare?

I am so happy to see all of these strategy/4x games coming to consoles and I'm equally happy it DIDN'T happen when I was younger with nothing but free time. If you're frothing for something in the same realm between now and March 16, please check out Stellaris and CK3. Planetfall is another option but it's more like Civ with XCOM combat...so a fair bit different.

Great review! I am so happy that they brought it over to consoles and fully expect to go in on Bannerlord during the winter lull in games. I'm still playing a fair bit of CK3 but miss the days of joining in the battle instead of watching it sim out. Thanks for covering this game!

It's weird and how I feel about wrestling games too - I want a sim style game until I don't. I can't really articulate when it happens but reading the comments here and remembering putting people through glass every game or the missile from the blue line that breaks the back glass and I think - yep.

Their twitter announcement states it will be $50 and there will NOT be an upgrade path. Entirely separate. This is a huge bummer for me because I just bought this about 3 weeks ago and then read that it had a ps5 version releasing this year so I waited to play it. I've heard great things.

I haven't watched the video because I'm trying to go a bit dark on this one but do we know if it's Tim or Damien as Robin?

I posted this elsewhere but if you're like me, my biggest concern is always the controls translation from PC to console. Let me put your mind at ease - they've done a great job here. Much like the CK3 port, there are instances of an extra step here and there (I'm looking at you colonist traits menu) but overall the UI/X is far better than the PC version.

No need to pump RimWorld's tires when it comes to gameplay. It's one of the highest rated games on steam.

@Kidfunkadelic83 CK2/3 (never played 1) make Civ look like connect four. CK3 has a really good tutorial. If you are at all interested in this style of game, I'd suggest watching some YouTube let's plays of people who know it inside and out. It's wildly addicting once you start seeing the matrix.

@dellyrascal Unfortunately, no. Because the entire control system was revamped for console, the dev's report it's not as easy as flipping a switch. Unfortunately, it also means PC players can't use the new UI with a controller.
I think it's important to note that the screens used at the top of this review are from the PC version.

I'm excited to see if Spellforce 3 is any good... oh and CK3 BABY!!!! I'm excited to do nothing more for the rest of my life after the 29th.

I know console is not the ideal way to play this, but my macbook doesn't run CK3. I've been anxiously awaiting this announcement since they first showed the teaser. CK2 is incredible and I can't wait to play this on ps5.

I didn't get 2k20 but the gameplay, however cinematic, looks the same and 30fps. I hope they release more details and some preview footage before its release.

It sure feels like they're using the tin foil hat-ness of the whole thing to their advantage with this teaser. It even looks like the MGS3 font.

@Stragen8 This. My mate and I are at a bit of a lull with co-op games to play and this looks to be right up our alley. $40 + beer money for a few weeks of some evening gaming with a close friend that is pretty mindless but also set in a universe that we both know and love - sounds pretty great to me. Shooting xenos while we catch up on each other's lives, count me in!

@JustAiko Any specifics giving you issue, maybe I can try to help. Are you new to fighting games? For GG, I typically use my fightstick but the inputs aren't very different from other fighters. Typically, new players will input too quickly.
