Re: PS Stars' Digital Collectibles Can Be Displayed on Your PSN Profile

Valgore

This could actually be a great addition to PS. If they were to make a couple of collectables for each game then collectors will definitely pony over thier points for these exclusive awards. Maybe make a collectable only purchasable once you've completed the game or what not, it could bring a who new element to Trophy hunting. Obviously people not interested in these collectables can still redeem thier points towards games etc so everyone is covered I believe (I hope).

Re: Naughty Dog Reflects on How The Last of Us: Part I Honors the Original

Valgore

@Shredderlovespizza I fully understand what you're saying and I'm very happy about the changes they have made but no matter how you look at it, this is still a remake of a game that came out in 2013 and a remake of said game that was remastered in 2014.

I hope that this remake brings more players to experience what an amazing game it is but I still feel that charging full price for this is crazy due to this game being released twice already, this isn't a remake like Final fantasy 7.

Like I said before though, this is just my opinion.

Re: Naughty Dog Reflects on How The Last of Us: Part I Honors the Original

Valgore

I'm a huge fan of this game, I loved my first play though, it had me gripped and on the edge of my seat and the story was amazing, I loved it so much that I then completed the remaster when that was released but I'm sorry I just can't for the life of me see why this remake was made, the remaster is available on PS extra/delux/premium and still plays really well so I'm just baffled that this was needed.

I'm very happy that maybe this will bring people to play it for the 1st time but seriously, they could have done another PR run with the remaster for the launch of extra/premium to say "Hey look this game is amazing and it's free if you sub" maybe that's all that was needed?

I'm just confused even with the whole makeover it's had, charging full price for a game that been released twice already is just bad practice imo but hey as long as people who do buy it like it then at least that's a good thing.

Once again just my opinion though.

Re: Dead Island 2 Back from the Dead on PS5, PS4 Next February

Valgore

I've been waiting for this since it was first rumoured way back when. I can't wait to get my hands on this, I mean this was what started Dying light and even in dying light 2 the beginning record playing is the theme song from dead Island one, riptide imo was just a money grab, it was good but it felt like a huge dlc add on rather than a whole new game. Super hyped for this, I just hope it doesn't launch with bugs the first one had. 🤞🏻🤞🏻

Re: Sony Discontinuing PS5 Accolades As No One Used Them

Valgore

To be honest I completely forgot you could give out accolades. To me what this says is that Sony didn't put enough in to make this feature seem like it should be something we all know and use, I remember hearing about it when I first used my ps5 but that's it.

Re: Sony to Take Action as PS5, PS4 Owners Play Less Than Anticipated

Valgore

I have access to multiple Telegram groups where scalpers are still sitting on 20 to 30 Disk Ps5's and they are still selling them at £600-£650, granted they aren't selling as fast but they are still selling.

The cost of living crisis is a killer, everything has gone up in price and money has stayed the same, this winter if it does get seriously cold, I will have to make choices and gaming isn't a priority when I've got kids that are still cold even with blankets and clothes on.

Re: Right Wrongs in JRPG Monochrome Mobius: Rights and Wrongs Forgotten

Valgore

I have no idea what this is but it's a jrpg so count me in, I just hope it doesn't take years to get to us because I'm really starting to feel like the games feel dated when we finally do get to play them. I tried edge of eternity yesterday and that came out in 2018 in Japan but came out here Feb of this year and wow, it felt very dated playing it.

Re: Rumour: EA Set to Reveal New Skate, Need for Speed, and FIFA Games Next Month

Valgore

Skate 4!!!!! I can't wait for this game, I was playing Skate 3 the other day on GP and it's still amazing, Give me that gameplay with updated graphics and I'm golden, Can't wait to see what's revealed and as for NFS, I would love if they can bring back full body customisation with some epic decals and Vinyls and with some sweet neons, oh the gameplay obviously needs to be good. Looking forward to see what's what.

Re: PS Plus Extra, Premium Now Live in Europe, Australia, and New Zealand

Valgore

The upgrade pricing seems to be all over the place. I'm seeing people paying £20 for a 12month upgrade then £40 for 12month upgrade. I've got until the 15th of Dec left on plus and my upgrade to premium is £22.50 and to extra its £15.38.

Just seems all over the place.

I got an XSX the other day and got Gamepass for £1 for 3months.

I feel Sony have made this more complicated than it needs to be.

I think I'll hold off for abit and see how things pan out.

Re: PS Plus Extra, PS Plus Premium Now Live Across the USA

Valgore

I hate to be "That guy" but there isn't much on that list that I haven't played tbh. I was hoping Sekiro would be there or any Dark Souls games. I know Demon is there which is great but was hoping for others to. Going by this list, I'm just not sold. I'll hold off for some months to see what changes.

Re: Round Up: What Was Announced During Sony's Latest State of Play Livestream?

Valgore

I was happy with it. I'm not a VR fan just because I personally can't use it, it causes me headaches and sickness but the games coming to the VR2 look epic and great fun. I'm very surprised that Stray is free day 1 if you have ps plus extra or premium, that was a great addition and it looks like a fun game to play. RE4 remake had me pumped, I can't wait for that and I hope they keep it very close to the original, I like the remakes that they have done so far so I'm looking forward to this. The Colisto project peaked my interest and I've made that a day 1 purchase for sure, my type of game. The one game that really got me curious was roller drome, I'm not sure that it's going to click tbh, I think it has potential to a certain extent but I don't believe that it's going to be the game everyone runs to play but I could be very wrong and it becomes a smash but I have my doubts. Overall though, I liked the state of play.

Re: Poll: What Review Score Would You Give Sniper Elite 5?

Valgore

Solid 8 for me and would be a 10 if they can smooth out the player movement/animations.

SE4 was very smooth compared to 5 but with updates it will be sorted I think. I'm only on the 2nd mission, unfortunately a bug arose through my first play through that stopped my kill list target from appearing so I restarted the mission and I was over 2hrs in on that mission but I did it all 2nd go around.

The maps are huge, the customisation of guns is great and finding all the Intel, destroying the eagles etc make this game great to play. I've been invaded a few times which has been great fun, having to hide to see where they're coming from and then getting that killing head shot is epic.

I'm having a great time with this game and highly recommend it if you liked 4 but like I said the movement doesn't feel as smooth right now so maybe wait for some updates but for me the game is still great and I look forward to further improvements.

Re: Juggernaut Publisher EA Planning to Sell or Merge

Valgore

I've had enough of acquisitions tbh. I still don't think it's good for gamers no matter what platform you're on. Ms has locked future obsidian and Bethesda games behind thier wall and I personally think that is an awful way to treat gamers! Look I fully understand first party titles but don't take a game that started multiplatform and then make it exclusive and I feel that way about all platforms. If platforms can guarantee that the purchases they make with remain on all then fine and fair play, if not then no no no.

Re: Preview: New Saints Row Looks Like Fantastic Fun, But It's Also Distinctly Last-Gen

Valgore

I'm confused by this because I thought that the whole idea of this SaintsRow was to reinvent its self or I missed something. I actually enjoyed SaintsRow 2 I think it was, I wasn't a fan of the whole superhero one at all so as long as they don't go near that then I'll be relatively happy. As for the Woke BS, I always feel that it comes from people that have a very narrow mind set and can't stand change.

Re: Sony's Bungie Buyout to Be Investigated by the FTC

Valgore

I don't mind the scrutiny when it comes to buy outs of companies but to see that Bethesda got bought out without scrutiny is a kick in the nuts, they made games that were due to be multiplatform, exclusive and no scrutiny took place. To me that deal was the one time where scrutiny should have happened to see if they were taking games away from players but nothing, it went through no issue and they're now just about to host a microsoft/Bethesda event that will no doubt show the games that were meant to be on all platforms. As you can tell I liked Bethesda games and yes I'm still salty that I have to buy an Xbox if I want to play some of my favourite franchises.

Re: Poll: What Review Score Would You Give Dying Light 2?

Valgore

I'm giving this an 8 at the moment. I liked the the opening mission/tutorial but when the map opened and I was kinda able to do what I want, I was overwhelmed but after a couple of hours of just running around and killing things and just exploring it all comes into focus and I worked out how I want to play this game. So far I'm really enjoying it, I like the crafting and the gear ect. The story is keeping me going and I'm interested in seeing where it goes and I'm liking the characters aswell. There is a few things that need sorting like not having full 4k at 60fps, I'm confused how they haven't managed to achieve this and I'm hoping it is something they plan on sorting very soon because without 60fps this game chugs. When it comes to weapons I'm actually starting to understand it now, you have less chance of hitting multi Enemies with a single handed weapon than a 2 handed weapon which make sence as the 2 handed is bigger. Different weapons also have a different feel too, 1H slashing is fast and light, 1H blunt is heavier and feels abit more weighty and has a thud with the hits. 2h is generally slower due to the weight. At first I thought it was odd but it makes sense really. Overall I'm enjoying it and I'm looking forward to play more.

Re: Poll: Did You Buy Dying Light 2: Stay Human for PS5, PS4?

Valgore

@Roqka I would say go for it if its cheap enough. I really enjoyed the 1st one and number 2 is so far really good aswell. I would say take the jump for number 2 but for what I've seen I do think getting the story from 1 will make things easier to understand, not essential but would help.

Re: Poll: Did You Buy Dying Light 2: Stay Human for PS5, PS4?

Valgore

I've rented it and I'm loving it. I really enjoyed the 1st one and this one is great too. The graphics are good but I've have noticed a few tearing issues during cut scenes on the ps5 so an update will need to fix that but it's not game breaking. I'm not very far in at all and I'm having to get used to the controls again due to them being different to most games (R1 to Jump) but overall I'm happy with it. Look forward to progressing further.

Re: Sony 'Vastly Overpaid' in 'Desperation' for Bungie, Says Outspoken Analyst Michael Pachter

Valgore

Although the numbers don't stack and point to a rushed acquisition, I'm hopeful that it's the future that is being planned for here where money can be used to make Destiny better and also for the talent to be able to work on others projects and hopefully bring out another great fps. I'm also confused because I saw that this buy out was in the making alot longer than the MS/Activision buy out??

Re: Sony Buys Ex-Halo, Destiny Developer Bungie for $3.6 Billion

Valgore

This is great if they plan on using the talent to possibly work on another FPS but as long as they keep games that are already Multiplatform, multiplatform. I don't like that MS took franchises that launched on Multiplatform and made them exclusive and I don't want Sony doing the same. These acquisitions sound crazy and it's gets us talking but it really worries me for the future of gaming as a whole. We don't need Tit for tat and gamers losing games they love to be made exclusive. If this keeps happening then the only people that will be able to enjoy the games they like will be to own both Consoles and thats not a cheap task for people with a money threshold. Just feel like this could end badly for gamers in the long run.

Re: PS Plus February 2022 PS5, PS4 Games Announced

Valgore

Tiny Tina I completed when it first came out and highly recommend it if you haven't played it. UFC 4 is OK, I enjoy the fighting but the career is lack luster which is a shame. I've never played planet coaster so I'm gonna give that a go for sure. I really wish PS+ would stop with not giving both ps4/ps5 versions of a game if it's available.

Re: Ubisoft Pulls the Plug on Watch Dogs Legion PS5, PS4 Updates

Valgore

@Bentleyma I agree mate. I'm enjoying Assassin's creed valhalla and I'm 60+hrs in and not even gone to lundon yet. Watch dogs 2 was OK but I wasn't that fond of the whole edgy teen/young adult vibes. I didn't enjoy Legion at all unfortunately but I'm always interested in what they bring next.

Re: Talking Point: In Theory, Could Xbox Game Pass Come to PS5, PS4?

Valgore

MS constantly says that they want people to enjoy gamepass on anything so maybe this is something they want to look at in the future but Sony won't do it if it hurts thier bottom line too much. I like the idea of having a dedicated Gamepass app though and being able to access Bethesda games ect. I feel like Microsoft could offer future Cods but only on gamepass and offer that to Sony. If Sony say no, then MS can say that they offered and sony turned it down.

Re: Poll: Does Sony Need to Take Action After Microsoft's Activision Buyout?

Valgore

I read an interesting article the other day about the possibility where Microsoft asks Sony to put Gamepass on the PlayStation.... I have to admit that I actually wouldn't mind that at all, with a dedicated app that let's you buy gamepass if you want. By doing that people will still get to buy what ever console they choose without losing out on games being exclusive to Gamepass but I doubt that would happen and if it did I very much doubt Microsoft would do it unless Sony gave thier 1st party titles to gamepass or made them for Xbox too. Way to crazy of an idea I think but you never know.

Re: Sony Responds to Activision Blizzard Buyout, Expects Games to Still Come to PS5, PS4

Valgore

If Sony do have a contract in place with Activision then I think that will be honoured by MS like the others but I think it all depends on the length of contract. If MS does plan on making COD exclusive and say the contact carries on until 2025 or longer then MS might feel that paying out of the contract would be better although it wouldn't be a good move for PR. If Sony did renegotiate a deal with Activision then I would expect that to be a 5yrs+ but you never know. I guess it's all a waiting game for now. Does anyone feel like this is a good thing that MS are buying out big publishers and making thier games MS exclusives??

Re: Reaction: Activision Blizzard Buyout Is Devastating for PS5, PS4

Valgore

This is such a BS move. I'm not a big fan of Cod but they did it with Bethesda and now Activision, Who's next? How is this remotely good for gamers? The problem MS will have is if they keep doing this and Sony does pull the plug on the PS then Microsoft will be the only big boy in the market. When you have no competitors you get lazy and the buck will only stop with them. Like I said, as a gamer I don't think this is good for gamers at all!

Re: Xbox Boss Reacts to PS Plus, PS Now Rumours, Says It's the 'Right Answer'

Valgore

Obviously Spencer saying this is a great way to get the hype going for what will probably be a disappointment. I think Sony does need to rival GP and offer Day 1 releases of 1st or at least 3rd party games. No matter what Sony's new sub service will get compared to GP and the backlash with be swift and brutal but will eventually die down. The question is, is what Sony doing going to bring more people over to PS or will people still thi k they get better Value with GP? At the moment I do believe that GP is an amazing value for what you get so I hope Sony can make me feel like that with thier new Sub service.

Re: Talking Point: What Do You Realistically Expect from PS5, PS4's Game Pass Inspired PS Plus Reboot?

Valgore

This probably won't be a popular opinion but I truely feel that Sony needs to match Gamepass here or go further if possible. Comparisons will always be made and if the price is too steep and doesn't offer the equivalent of gamepass then alot of people won't purchase it. You look at Halo, the new Elderscrolls, outerworlds 2 ect and they will be day 1 releases on Xbox which is amazing if you're a fan of them. If Sony could do the same with thier games then it would be a massive deal and people will be over the moon I think. Like I said, just my honest opinion.

Re: Rejected Days Gone Sequel Would Have Swimming, Better Animals

Valgore

It's a massive shame that we won't get Days Gone 2 because I loved the 1st one. I thought the biking theme was great and enjoyed it alot, the refuel problem I never had because it just became second nature to make sure I had enough fuel. I loved the hoards and I enjoyed the story. I would love to play a number 2 if they ever do decide to give it another go.

Re: The Elder Scrolls 6 Isn't Coming to PS5, But It's Not About 'Punishing Other Platforms'

Valgore

Hmm although your list is questionable like spiderman (the new marvel spiderman was created as a 1st party title and was never said to be multiplatform) Like I said before, taking a multiplatform game franchise/series that started as multiplatform and then making that game exclusive is imo bad for gamers. I'm talking about games like outerworlds where number 1 was on both but now number 2 is on Xbox only and ES where that's been on both for years and now that's Xbox only. That's not good for gamers.

Re: New Horizon Forbidden West Trailer Features Gameplay and Costumes

Valgore

I'm a huge fan of the 1st game. I 100% that game and just loved it, yes I did find it abit tedious here and there but I loved the world and really enjoyed the story. One thing I hope we get to see more of is old world/this world caves, I really enjoyed finding those caves and exploring and finding cool loot with lore too. I know it's not meant to be tomb raider of the future but I just really enjoyed that aspect of the 1st one. Really looking forward to this.

Re: Sonic Frontiers Takes Sonic to an Open World on PS5, PS4 in 2022

Valgore

If and it's a big IF, that they can pull this off then I'm all for it. Gives me and my boy something to play. I really want to see upgrades in this sonic, upgrade his boots, some accessories and even some extra cool unique upgrades that add some abilities. Something that fleshes it out more. I'll keep my eyes on it for sure.
