Man when 2/3 votes get gobbled up by Persona it’s hard to pick the third. Could have easily picked about 7. Went with Veronica. By the by 1666 Amsterdam appears to have been overlooked. Hoping for a few more good announcements at tomorrow’s Direct.

@mvhess Nod. Also, about the blockbuster thing, I think arcades played a part too. Much better value proposition in the long term for parents. $40 game vs infinite quarters.

@mvhess We were beating that game well before Nintendo Power was even a thing. We just tried everything, burning every bush, pushing every stone, yada yada. Then we shared what we learned with our friends around the neighborhood. I look back on those times pretty fondly in fact.

Had to turn off RT due to some serious screen edge jank that occurred in dark areas. Also I just played Tormented Souls II the other week so this was like playing a watered down Hollywood version of that. I mean I’ll play it eventually because they’re not bad games but they’ve long abandoned what made them my favorite PS1 games.

Luna Abyss demo is dope but i think the bullet hell stylings are going to draw comparisons to Saros with them releasing so close.

I am not satisfied. I’m all for B-tier games and bargain bin finds but this month’s selection is a bit excessive.
