I like the stage shows, but if they are only showcasing game trailers they aren't that important.
At least with something like E3 everybody has something to look forward to and the companies can save a few announcements just for that and the other shows.
But now we have to wait on the off chance we get a random state of play, if these were at regular intervals at set times i could get on board more, also if i can manage to watch them later if i need to without spoilers.

@get2sammyb i think we all wanted an earlier reveal, but we didn't see the PS3 until E3 in May 2005 and the PS4 until E3 June 2013, so personally for me around now is when i would expect anyway.

Between now and launch it's much easier to fill the gap with game announcments, earlier may have spread them too thinly although we really don't know just how many top launch titles there will be.

If the price on PS Plus is good, might treat myself and add a couple of years.

I just hope we don't get the rage we had with PES and they take away Cities, looking forward to giving it a bash.
It's a game i can play whilst chatting in a party, i can't concentrate on games with lots of talking and talk to others at the same time, so games like this are great.

@CD456 Question, why did you keep subcribing on PS3 if you didn't play any of the games?
And only 2 from around 600 games, you either buy loads of games or are extremely picky on what you play.

It was a very clever and interesting progression just like in the games. The castle came first then the boats came, so after the vikings arrived the castle became a burning ruin, the defenders armour improved, then vikings weapons and shield improved and boats improved.

Maybe set in England or northern France.

It took a couple of years from PS3 to PS4, will be interesting to see what developers do as we may for sometime see many games that are simply optimised for PS5 as they want them to run well on PS4s for the larger user base.
Plus it's only really the top studios that will have to step up, as most indie studios may not need to make use of all the PS5s fancy whistles and bells.

@Ultima893 Great example used badly, so the gym owner (Sony) provides 2 protein bars a month (games) you have a few of these bars saved up to consume later (backlog).
You decide to quit your gym, so you have to return those bars (games) because according to the gyms terms and conditions no matter how many bars (games) you have saved you are not allowed to consume them without a current membership.

The gym owner (Sony) is not giving them as extras, the bars (games) are part of the gym package you are subcribing to.
If you cannot use something without a current membership, it is not and never will be free.

@Ultima893 OH deary me, you pay for the whole packages, the games are not a bonus, online was added to PS Plus afterwards.

If you are a member of a club and they give you a badge every month that you are a member, but when your membership expires you have to give all your badges back, are they free?
If you get to keep them yes they are, if you have to send them back they are not and are rentals.
You cannot comare a subcription service to buying physical goods. the burger and petrol are one off purchases.
I am a member of the AA and as a member i have acces to discounts and key insurance, i do not keep them if i stop, they are not free they are part of the package.
The games are not free, they are part of the package, there is no salt in this post, just a realistic view of exactly what we pay for.

I am surpirsed that the AAA question didn't ask how many full price games we purchased, i didn't buy many but only 1 of those was brand new full price.
In fact i think that since i bought my PS3 (2008ish) and PS4 i have only bought 5 games at release.

Also just to be picky a saloon/sedan is not the same as a hatchback, so other has to be selected.

If they were to do something like that it would make more sense to give PS Plus users some store credit or a 50% off voucher code to spend as they wish.
It's absolutely no good Sony handing out free games if the people in isolation already have them.

Yeah, on PS3 all you had to do was look at your save game file, not perfect but it gave you a rough idea.
Missed this straight away on PS4.
Just got the Plat on Transistor after starting it 5 years ago, would have liked to have know how long it took me.

A feature i would like to see is that if a PS5 pro comes out Pushsquare keep reviewing games on the base machine, so when they say "it runs smooth" you know it runs smooth on all systems not just on the top model.

Good for some, bad for me, will be a personal downvote on this months poll again, that's 2 in a row.
Played Uncharted 4 and don't do driving games. Good games but not for me, better luck in May maybe.

@fluggy i had the same though, an extra game would be good at this time, probably PES though.

Is SOTC less clunky than before? i didn't enjoy it at all when we got it on PS Plus (PS3) before.
Personally poor month for me, still looking forward to going back to Rapture though.

To help manage price points there will be 2 launch consoles, a standard black edition and a white non-disc drive version.
Sony will announce cross gen play on all multiplayer titles between PS4 and PS5, so you can still play COD and FIFA with your poorer friends.
Fallout:New Vegas will be announced for PS5 with no graphical improvement but with virtually no load times.

At least 2 of these will happen.
