I thought it was a drag. Loved the 1st one. I thought the game was coming to a close then had to do it all over with abby. Went on far far too long with not enough variety. Annoys me as well they've been milking remasters for years too

After reading the review, the score seems mean. Of course it's going to be overwhelming, all the content has dumped in one go. This is one of the only games I was ever jealous of on another console

I get why soneone might get this as a physical release to look nice on the shelf, but what fool would buy this digitally at that price?

The fights were fantastic but the corridors and filler was atrocious. Cloud was such a moody get too, he's got 3 beautiful women chasing him and all he does is sigh and moan !

I'd like a full remake of RE code Veronica it's the only mainline game I've never played, and I've finally caught up, playing re4 remake now. Re9 as well obviously would be great.

I'd play it again, especially if it's free like the recent doom/doom 2 upgrade. What a pleasant surprise it was when i played it for the first time on ps4, not only what felt like the real doom 3, but a spiritual successor to the ps1 doom, with its amazing soundtrack. It did away with the silly rock music which I always mute, and changed it to some brilliantly bizarre stuff, like babies crying in the background.

My favourite ever driving game and sonys biggest cock up dumping evolution. I've played all the teams games since disbanded and they've all been great, but drive club was their masterpiece. I will say though I was late to ps4 so the game arrived with me fully formed and all dlc aside from vr on board.
No other driving game has made me laugh with joy at performing a perfect drift overtaking two other cars on a corner. Some of the tracks were genius in their design, not being held back by real world locations or tracks.
The rain effects have never been bettered ten years later.....it was and is astonishing.
Please sony for the love of God get the team back together and get them to do a full remaster of this and the motorstorm trilogy please.

@bighal completely agree. The free dlc has been so good but take my money! I've ploughed nearly 500 hours into this and would happily pay for a track pack. Its not like polyphony are working on anything else, and there's no point till gt8 on ps6. Gt7 has evolved so much its practically live service

Gonna miss games mags. There's been some classics over the years, for me going back to your sinclair. Bought psm religiously for years, and to someone strapped for cash, demo discs were great. Bought play alot too. I used to spend hours in the magazine aisles, and got told off once or twice ' buy something or leave ' 🤣

Absolutely no, never. Why would I spend 700 on an upgrade with little discernable difference.....but also give up a disc drive? I don't want a separate drive sat next to it adding clutter, it's not the same as adding an extra ssd internally which I have done.
I hope this fails, otherwise discless consoles will be fast tracked.
I defend Sony a lot, I am very loyal and have owned every mainline console (no pro versions), the only other time I've really criticised is their handling of Evolution studios, but this is laughable.

I'm sorry I just don't get the need for a pro console mid cycle. Gone are the days now when developers would wring every last drop of power from a games machine, so what you were seeing 7 years on blew away what was at launch.
I know they are not technically dividing their community like xbox, but why not just save the money on development costs and work on downsizing the current machine.
Leave the tech guys to take their time and work on ps6. Why salivate over this when the full power of the Og model has yet to be fully unlocked

I hope they learn from this. The market is saturated with online multi player shooters. Who thought this was going to be any different?
Give people what they actually want and they will buy it. This'll hurt sonys pride alot more than it will hurt us though. It will be forgotten in a few weeks.
Basically kiss capcoms ass and stay best buds with them, keep giving us great horror games and open world games, quirky indies and great platformers. Xbox is utterly in their pocket, and Nintendo are almost a different market.

This is awesome news, I still play the original even now. A benchmark for brilliant games for me is how many hours I pour in after I have the platinum, I platted wreckfest long long ago and still enjoy a blast

Very very smart bringing out a little free dlc for the preinstalled game. I 100%ed it very quick, loved every minute then moved on. I'd forgotten how brilliant it was.
It was on my sons ps5 so have started going through whole thing again.
I think this is a day one for me, they deserve my money

This makes me a very happy bunny. One of the few games I was worried about not getting . It does beg the question, why buy them for billions if you're going to share the games anyway

Having the mini game bundled with the console was a small stroke of genius, its something you just have to play. I might otherwise have not considered this but now I'm all in

I personally hope they do do Veronica I've never played it, and I hope they don't avoid re5 because of the Africa setting. Funny how no-one was bothered with all the previous games white zombies

Personally I would prefer tracks over cars at this point, there's now over 500 in game. I would happily pay for some quality dlc, they have given us so much for free.
There is no point working on number 8 until there is a ps6, they can just keep evolving this one.

PlayStation will be fine for at least a couple more generations. Their brand loyalty achieved is off the chart, and people wish to keep their trophy lists etc.
They are not really in competition with Nintendo and Microsoft have lots of money but no sense.
In general Sony mean well, they just need to bring down those development times and make games less massive.
Capcom have the right idea.....smaller games you actually want to replay.
Sony would have to do something monumentally bad to lose me, and it will probably only be my embarrassment at playing games at my age that will stop me!

The bloat puts me off, filler to make a game bigger doesn't work. Re village is quite short but I love it, consequently have finished it several times

I was ever so slightly disappointed with the first one. Parts of it were epic, but I found the post game exploration a grind. The pseudo open world didn't work for me at all. I am very proud of beating the Valkyrie queen and getting the plat however, she was well hard and I haven't got the reflexes any more!
I may get Ragnorak at some point but its a fair way down the list

I think they should stop giving away cars in updates now. Their resources are being taken up when they could be producing new or classic tracks.
It's only a small grumble mind, polyphony have given away a fantastic amount for free, I platinumed it long ago and still play it regularly. This is one instance where I would happily pay for some dlc with several tracks and new single player content.

I think Sony are doing just fine. They can't compete with Microsoft so do your own thing.
Bethesda have learned nothing.....couldn't even get starfield right, whereas Sony hoovered up Balders gate .

You could see Evolutions blueprint all over Onrush and Dirt5, and I thoroughly enjoyed them both

Rockstar are dead to me. Lazy greedy money grabbers. We should have been on GTA8 by now. There are plenty of amazing experiences elsewhere. At the time I thought GTA3 was the greatest, funniest game I'd ever played.

I'm more than happy with the additions they've made.....all completely free. That said, a new track is probably due.
I would happily buy some dlc though if they put together a classic track pack
