Cinema was gonna kill the theatre and cost people jobs and theatres still exist. TV was gonna kill both. Video games were said to be book killers. Books still sell. Ai is here now and nothing will stop it. Other industries and jobs will survive but like DLC and FTP games some will exploit it and ruin it. People are often rubbish.

@tselliot they had 97% positive feedback. This is nothing to do with “protecting the brand” that’s legal and corporate nonsense. This is protecting our profits. It’s understandable companies want to do it. Just consumers shouldn’t be so quick to side with large corporations. They are not your friend.

I loved the CTR remake except the crazy level of grind and horrible Mechanics for MTX. It made the whole thing almost unplayable

First a London setting absolutely works. Have they not played the getaway and secondly the comments about London having fallen or other nonsense prove the social media bubbles live in. Less made up legends and fortnite style elements and more retro unlockables and NBA jam style stuff and we could be on a winner but I suspect it’ll feel like a mobile game and be a horrible mess of a cash grab for everything being a huge grind.

It’ll have the likes of Rodman, Magic, Bird etc but you’ll never get close to unlocking them unless you pay loads would be my bet

Xbox decided to put all their chips in chasing the people’s subscription money, people don’t have infinite money for monthly fees and Xbox want 30 current and that will only go up, they put themselves against Netflix, Amazon etc, as they don’t have any revenue from day one exclusives now, Sony kept that money and revenue and made a monthly subscription too. Is it “as good” as Xbox GPU - No…. But who cares, Sony didn’t blink. Xbox now have to launch games on PlayStation to get day one revenue. They’ve said their next console will be expensive and they’ll not care that only Xbox heads will chase it. I’m sure it’ll become a “luxury” gadget influencer types push and don’t use.

They claim things that aren’t an Xbox are an Xbox.

It’s all part of their “strategy”

I love my Xbox and I’ve own every gen of Xbox and at the time they were out. Xbox OG was a beast and “only on Xbox” yellow label had awesome games and choices.

We’ve come along way since then.

0 already has the modern controls (at least it doesn’t have the Tank controls) it has its issues but it’s a good game, playable, Veronica is not half as playable. They should do that first 100%

I’ve watched the video and having played on the steam deck - there is no way the performance or upgrades justify the price at all. As a handheld version of a current gen game the steam deck price is almost unbelievable. The Xbox price is not so much.

A good mix of characters, because of the setting I knew I wouldn’t get Punisher but glad we got silver surfer, Rather have Marvel beat em up with Punisher, Blade, Iron Fist, Iceman loads of great characters you can have to be honest hopefully we get DLC for this one.

It’s failing to understand what gaming is and how deep and wide gaming is. Niche games sell by the bucket loads to people that don’t want Fortnite and that style game. Everyone thinks you’re failing in the gaming market if you don’t make Fortnite money. Sony are doing fine

Excellent news - progress. As long as - it comes with a battery as standard unlike the Xbox that charges for plug and play kits. Will mean prices of controllers won’t get out of hand like ps3 ones have.

Genuinely, saying “you want to compete with Hogwarts Legacy” is a ridiculous statement unless it was from the same publisher and studio. It’s one of the most successful games of all time. It’s like an open world game claiming it’ll compete with GTA. Unless it’s near completion and people have played it and said “wow this is as good as Hogwarts” it’s stupid. Also LOTR whilst a massive massive name and franchise doesn’t have the same mass draw HP does. Even Star Wars games (very good ones) didn’t sell like HP did. It was an excellent game with a widespread appeal from the IP.

A underrated series and would love to see more. Open world from the start inbetween the missions more like 2/3 would be my preference. But as long as open world is there to explore all good.

LRG continue to push the boundaries of the smallest amount of content they can give you for the largest amount of money. 😂

Honestly I can’t keep up with faux misplaced anger. The influencer culture was always gonna make itself implode and the end is near. It’s an unregulated mess that companies exploit and the influencers have no morales

69% of the people say 7 out of 10 or higher. It’s clearly very good.

If you exclude Star Wars… and a few other anomalies…like Aliens and DC/Marvel…. the good licensed games were dead but Harry Potter, Robocop, Terminator have roared back in recent times and a Jurassic park is most welcome… hopefully more cool universes get good games.

Xbox only crew don’t buy games. I buy Xbox games on the regular but I don’t have gamepass.

Most of the soundtrack is same though isn’t it? Unfortunately different people will have different faves and if your faves are missing it won’t trigger those memories. I’d have added to the soundtrack and not removed if that was legally possible.

@Drago201 they want Xbox owners in their sub service. They can’t offered too good a deal else people might just buy games they want to play. Even people here are claiming it’s “free” on Xbox at £15 a month it’s not free. They want people to stick with £15 a month

@Titntin it’s 100% this. Someone in this comment section saying they won’t play this trash for free. Suggesting that they’ve never played it yet they know it’s trash. I’ve played it and it’s definitely not. Even before the patches it was ok. Now though it’s good. Some people will never believe this is not complete trash though 😂 each to their own

Really enjoying outlaws as are 4 or 5 of my mates. Way better than the internet made out and we are all in agreement it’s a better game than survivor. It’s nice not to be lightsaber and force heavy for a Star Wars game. Great universe and now patched it’s a very good game. Others hate it. Each to their own

I’d love Sony to look at Killzone, Resistance, Motorstorm and Drive club and give us new and improved versions. But I have no hatred that a game that sells well is getting some love.

College football is a great game. Didn’t get a nomination at the video game awards which proves what a farce they are.

The argument that “it’s cosmetic” so it’s fair dues how much they want to charge is literally the wrong way round. Cosmetics should be cheap. Proper content that takes time and development costs should be properly charged. “Real” Killzone fans will skip this. Ridiculous pricing. The gaming world has lost its mind. £40 for two outfits and people justify it

Got this on Xbox cheap. Playing offline solo only and it’s a much better game than the angry internet claims.

@Nakatomi_Uk when Forza is delisted all the features still work. I think they confirmed 4 will be supported “indefinitely” to work the same as it does right now. (They already made the Forzathon changes)

They didn’t send enough freebies to YouTubers and Influencers who then buried the game. It’s a simple formula now.

I’m enjoying the game. It’s not GOTY but certainly isn’t as bad as YouTube mafia made out.

To be fair you aren’t trying to win the Heisman trophy in Dynasty. That’s not the ultimate goal. Being national champions is. Heisman is the one as a player in the road to glory/campus legend mode.

Those above saying it’s “pay to win” no it’s not. The cards are in ultimate team like always in madden and fifa and anyone sensible avoids those modes. They don’t affect dynasty or campus legend or single online play.

I’d agree with 8 it’s been a long wait and it’s a great start.

@CrashBandicoat recently got in the sale on Xbox series X and it’s terrible yeah. I’m usually not bothered by little issues but the screen issues were so noticeable it was off putting. I assume it same on ps5 only got it on Xbox as it was cheaper at the time.

@Flaming_Kaiser £55 quid a game is not excessive. That’s what I paid. I’ve waited ten years for this game. No regrets. I’m sure you indulge in plenty of bad practises for games you like. It’s always worse when it’s EA.
