Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 Is Getting Comfortably Outsold by Battlefield 6 in Yet Another Country 1

A picture is beginning to form around Call of Duty: Black Ops 7, and for the executives at Activision it’s not a particularly pretty one.

What we’re generally seeing from all the data we have available thus far is that the first-person shooter is selling significantly worse than Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 and has debuted way below Battlefield 6.

And here we have some numbers for Spain that we can directly compare.

So, across physical and digital storefronts, Black Ops 7 sold 29,026 units through the week ending 16th November. To put that into perspective, Battlefield 6 managed 86,551 units during its launch week, ending 12th October. That’s a difference of 66%.

It’s consistent with what we’re hearing about Europe as a whole, where Black Ops 7 is said to be about 63% below Battlefield 6’s launch across the continent. The series also registered its worst-ever physical debut in Japan.

Which means all eyes will now be on the US, and whether it can make up for these shortcomings across the rest of the world.
