@StitchJones I'd rather they get someone reputable to port GTA IV first. At least RDR2 can be played on the PS5. GTA IV needs to be available for console players again.

@carrey23 They only published most of the standalone games. They tried to make Bully 2 but other projects took the man power away. Even Agent couldn't be developed because of GTA V, Max Payne 3 and RDR2. Their main focus is on AAA titles and as GTA VI is the biggest project they've ever done they only have a skeleton crew on GTA Online and RDR2 Online.

@Fiendish-Beaver There are two types of Development Kits. Software and Hardware. A Software kit enables developers to develop software for a Platform.
Hardware Kits allow them to debug for specific hardware.
So it's likely they have chosen the platform just not finalised the hardware just yet.

This is why I wait. The PS3 and XBOX 360 was enough of an experience to teach me to wait until the troubleshooting period passes. I didn't get my disc model PS5 until 2022 and I didn't really get a PS4 until 2020 since nothing exclusive appealed to me at the time.

Usually I would support artists but this guy really just needs to accept he is going to piss more people off if he takes custody of this song. If it wasn't for the game would it really be this popular? I don't think so. People are playing as two legendary hedgehogs while listening to this and it's an influence to a memorable moment.
Yes the song is good but it owes itself to two characters in a video game as much as the artists talent.
Please just ask for something and move on. You are 25 years older now.

@Swizzle Probably what hits the last three is the modern audience and the translation to modern hardware. It's like the new Gex trilogy may miss a mark because the original voice actor won't be voicing Gex and the references may be a bit dated.

Only Sony product I have had to change from is their mobiles. I can't use non contracts on the new models and they aren't widely sold so I had to switch to Google Pixel.
But I did have the Walkman for 10 years then an E series and a Z1 Compact.

@Coolmusic It was likely unofficial at the time but strongly predicted to be true and now it is.

@LifeGirl Yeah it was that reason that Sony wasn't keen on letting Nintendo control the game library. Not only was it a mistake on their part but they had to get in there with the N64 before thinking Disc the following generation for Gamecube.
I do wonder now though if Nintendo would have considered Goldeneye if Sony hadn't brought pressure to the market.

Ah that makes more sense. I've know a few people who have it and it's handy when your PS5 is a bedroom setup and you want to do some minor grinding while chilling in the lounge in front of sports or something.

@Dr-M I believe Sega stated any subscription games would be available through PS, Game Pass, Nintendo and Steam with some newer titles being collaborative with Nintendo. Due to Sega's marketing history with subscriptions in the 90's and other attempts to expand beyond Software they are a more collaborative company than first party these days.

@BlaizeV I believe what they are saying is if PS4 and PS5 are getting a renewed compilation then PS3 won't be able to due to backwards compatibility issues. They will likely make a PS4 compilation so it can be played on both systems but PS3 doesn't play on either which is why it will lose out.

GTA IV and The Godfather Dons Edition and TG Part II are amongst games I still have my PS3 for.

@ThaBEN Since it's in development the features are yet to be announced. They warned as it is a preview there are no store functions.

I liked Monopoly Tycoon. That was a really different spin on the game back then. New decades unlocked new shops and your winning goal could be domination or wealthiest player.

@Specky The studio that developed it went bankrupt. Rockstar stepped in to publish it but I don't believe they outright own the title as it was developed in Australia.

I played the Arcade Trilogy and SNES games when they were the star wars movie games of the time. Also played X Wing and Assault for Dos.
I liked this on PS1, was a bit confused at the time why they didn't do II but looking back I'm glad they didn't. I played III on PS2 and I felt mixed about that one.
Then the Lego ones came along and gave me a new insight on how to do Movie games.
So did The Godfather actually. Sometimes the best movie games are about a quarter to a third movie and adapt fun gameplay to progress. Like in the Lego ones you could both enjoy a Lego story and playing as Lego characters utilising abilities.
The Godfather made it about being part of the Mafia as a non story character that still fits with the storyline.
It can be done.

@Ken_Kaniff If Lego get more players they make their money through the micro transactions especially with kids whom most don't have the self control. With Christmas coming up it will be "Money for games" and then the spend moola in the content shops.

Having your PS5 On to use the portal anywhere doesn't sound safe or practical.
If someone expects to go on holiday with this thing they are leaving a device for what... a week?
Meanwhile the machine is running longer than it should at a time and doesn't that pose a fire risk.

I've had bad Internet patches due to technical issues at times and that doesn't make the idea of a 100% digital world very appealing.

I don't believe consoles are beefy enough for this. I've seen gaming rigs play these games and even some of them have issues but far less than a console. Best thing with PC is they can be made more powerful. Mouse and Keyboard is easier for Management Sims as well.

@Fight_Teza_Fight I think they can do it if they make it a more open world game like their modern titles and add things from the books here and there they couldn't in the movie or fit on the PS3 and XBox 360

I hope they bring some book material in like Winky and Hermione's Free the Elves as a background reference to stuff the movies didn't do due to run time.

@NEStalgia It's far too big of a deal for Microsoft to fairly claim in a monopoly. If the commission is going to do the job they are supposed to they will say No. While Microsoft has a stake in the console market there is going to be corporate biasm no matter what they claim and they stand to benefit from that more than ever with the Game Pass.

As I expected. Until I see the gameplay I just think ok let's see what this shows us down the line. And this seems to be it. Not what you would expect. I mean when someone tells me become a crime boss I expect some choices instead this is clearly Story Driven.

I need to see Gameplay. I've seen too much hype over the years and a movie like trailer can be decieving.
