Re: Soapbox: PSVR Bargain Adventure - One Man's Attempt to Reclaim His Gaming Glory Days

SirRealDeal

@Arcade_Tokyo PSVR has been a complete game changer for me. I rarely play pancake games at this point.

Just got back into Dirt Rally VR & started the monthly event. I've finished 18 of 24 stages (videos on my channel, obvious plug) so far which is something I could never do playing pancake. Lay of the land & all is obviously better seen in 3D.

It's unfortunate you weren't able to experience the greatness that is ASTRO BOT: Rescue Mission. One of the best VR games ever made.

Moss, as well.

Re: Ace Combat 7 Could Last You Up to 50 Hours on PS4

SirRealDeal

That's good to hear for people who still love their pancake games.

How about an honest article about the actual length of PSVR play. As there's a video out there of one of the VR missions which lasts less than eight minutes.

Which tells me this three hours of VR play they keep pushing is utter bull.

Language please - Quintumply

Re: Media Molecule Builds Dreamon's Souls in an Hour

SirRealDeal

Hot damn, that's awesome.

Question for the pessimists... are you not aware that you, personally, don't have to create anything? This game is three games in one without a creating a thing.

And we all are aware how good Media Molecule games are, aren't we?

Re: PlayStation VR Is Growing, But Virtual Reality Is Stumbling

SirRealDeal

I love my PSVR & it has dominated my gaming since it's release.

Having said that, I picked up the Oculus Go on day one & it's a phenomenal piece of electronics right there.

The abundance of non-gaming apps is why I purchased the Go. And I haven't been disappointed at all.

PSVR should have more of that. Non-gaming apps. I'm learning Spanish in VR. For free. Viso Places. It's basically Google Street View in VR. I visited every place I've lived growing up. For free.

All those movie tie-in experiences that never come to PSVR... they're on the Oculus Go. Actually, pretty much all the free experiences that come out for Rift & Vive but not PSVR are on the Go.

PSVR should have more non-gaming apps. That's all I'm saying. And of course I'm trying to hype the Go. Because if you're into VR, you'll love the Go too.

Re: Feature: Dreams, the PS4 Exclusive Everyone's Sleeping On

SirRealDeal

Maybe most gamers are unaware that, game wise, Dreams is actually three games. Those three games are playable right off the bat.

Personally, I do look forward to the player created content.

Most of all, I look forward to the VR update.

I've already got a few ideas for some VR content to create myself.
