What the hell is with this community? So many backwards and honestly scary views of the world at large. I’ve seen a big shift on the internet in the last couple of years in this regard and as someone who isn’t white or straight, it genuinely concerns me. As if we’re treading backwards in society. Definitely won’t be coming back to this site anymore as I don’t feel welcome based on the community at large. Really disappointing

I game less and less these days and it’s because of stuff like this. Sony are going in a direction that’s so far from why I game. That’s why I’ve been playing more indie games than anything lately. They are usually way more creative and fun…to me at least.

If this is indeed true..I’ve just about lost all faith in Sony. Exclusives are the reason I bought the PS4 to begin with..and as time goes on I’m seeing little reason to own it. They really are turning into Microsoft. How can they advertise these games as exclusive and then a few years later be like..lol jks. It’s not a good look for the brand..

Unpopular opinion..I really hope the studio is making something other than God Of War for once. That’s all the studio has primarily done for well over a decade. A new IP would be a nice change up. I vividly recall some incredible concept art Santa Monica produced for a new game..but I think that project was canceled. Would love to see them bring it back.

@stuzster Right? Was thinking the exact same thing myself. This is one of the many reasons I hope physical media doesn’t die anytime soon!!

@get2sammyb I did but it simply made me think or the state of PlayStation exclusives as a whole. I just get the feeling Sony will slowly experiment with more PC releases just like Microsoft are doing..which I think is a bad strategy on the long run.

It does seem like Sony is caring less and less about exclusives. Many titles are technically already available to play on PC via streaming- and other titles that Sony own the IP to, like Detroit and Death Stranding are playable on PC. Exclusives are important to me and are the main reason I buy a console. Hope Sony doesn’t loose sight of that next gen

I sold my Vita 2 months after I got it. It really didn’t do it for me. There just wasn’t enough good games imo

I really want to see bigger risks being taken next generation. I think games for the most part have become far too safe. That’s why I loved the PS2 era so much- there were just so many crazy/fun games that easily stood out from the crowd. Being different should be celebrated!!

I am so glad this game exists- and it's sad we don't get more like this. Games that truly feel out of this world and offer a unique gaming experience like no other.

No games as a service BS. No microtransactions. Just pure gaming bliss.

Is this not the person that literally leaked just about every game before e3 came around?? Why wouldn't people trust in his info?

For goodness sake I'm getting sick of this. Sony literally are slowly becoming Microsoft. If this is something that's going to become more common I definitely won't be investing in a PS5.

Is the time of releasing a fully complete game with all content included virtually over?? And I’m not talking about proper DLC here. It’s real sad to me.

This has to be the worst trend in gaming right now along with Microtransactions. Just release a polished full game. Is it that hard to do!?

Nope. I’ll hold off until the whole thing inevitably gets released as one full game. Don’t care how long it takes. I’ve waited this long anyway. Square is really thick for doing this.

@nookie_egg Don’t think Wild is third party though? Sony recently trademarked it again and they seem to be the owner of the IP.

7 years of development huh. Wowza. I’m surprised how buggy this game was before all the patches. Not sure why it was in such a state even after all that time it had in the oven.

@Porco Couldn’t agree more. No idea why they chose unreal considering it’s a PlayStation exclusive. Unreal engine games look pretty enough but prove to be difficult for even consoles to perform at a full 1080p.

It’s just a shame there’s so little first party titles confirmed for this year. Seems like an oversight considering how well the system is still doing. I reckon they should buy up a couple more studious..especially considering they’re taking much much longer to actually put out games.

Hmm almost thought they were gonna pull a Switch and launch it in March...

I played Bloodborne and loved it..I do love a challenge when it feels fair. But I am struggling so so much with Sekiro to the point I’m not having any fun at all. The sense of fulfilment hasn’t been there for me when I’ve managed to complete a difficult boss- instead it’s made me angry with how long it took me to beat it. The game is just simply not for me. I’ve never felt so stressed, frustrated and burnt out from playing a video game in my life.

I am totally done with the Xbox brand...I loved by 360, but haven’t looked back since. Microsoft seem way too invested in game subscriptions and cloud technology. Not to mention their “exclusives” aren’t even that anymore..with pretty much their first party games also launching on PC. Next.

Absolutely gorgeous. Man is it nice to see such a refreshing box art! Over the years it seems cover art get's more generic with every release. Games are a creative art-form and should be reflected on the box as such!

This is beyond absurd. De-listing it entirely!? What if someone just want's to play it offline??? Another one of the countless reasons I buy physical over digital. Not to mention didn't this game supposedly sell 2 million copies?? What a way to let a user-base down.

What on earth!? Just made an account then to comment for the first time on this site. The whole point of a console to me is that I can play games I can’t buy anywhere else. That’s why I bought a PS4 and that’s why I bought a Switch. Scratching my head big time with this. I really hope this isn’t a trend Sony continues...or I won’t be interested in a future console from them.
