I fell into it late at TTK, I really enjoy the social aspect and the gun mechanics "feel right" to me.
You can see how the mission design and currency and such improved over the life span and I get why day 1 people would feel gipped at certain points of the evolution.
The ghost voice acting and "plot" is mostly bobbins though, but that's ok.
The issue is that with anything, everyone kind of "pre-judges" everything, and some people get really militant at that.
I am really excited about No Man's Sky, but i get the impression some people have already decided it's crap, and desperately WANT it to be rubbish as a big "I told you so/too cool for school" moment.
I want ALL games to be good, though I am more excited about some concepts more than others.
It isn't just games though, look at Ghostbusters. It was either the "worst film of all time and shameless tokenism" or "A beacon of progressive casting from genuinely funny people and sure to be the funniest film of the summer if people can have an open mind" and that was 3 months before release.
In reality, I found it a 6.5/10 amusing, if forgettable summer film, like "Independence Day 2" and "Now You See Me 2" .
In truth, NMS will probably be the "Ghostbusters of Gaming" this year. I am interested in the concept and would be happy enough for a 6.5/10 game I get a good several hours of enjoyment from. Anything more is a bonus, anything less will be just a little disappointing, but I'd be at least honest in my assessment.
I'd like to do the Raids on Destiny, but I have a low tolerance to idiots. I spent 30 mins sitting down last night because some fool insisted on killing the Warden of Oryx we needed for our quest, despite several unresponded messages and voice chat invitations to discuss sword needs and strategy.
Is it worth using Bungie's forums to find players? Do people here even still bother doing Vault of Glass, or are people mostly excited over the new stuff, then put the game back on the shelf?
@rjejr Yes! Mostly they are just pointless backslaps for doing what you have to do anyway in my opinon,
My only memorable trophy experience came from when I took a picture of Sander Cohen in Bioshock because my jiggered sense of humour thought it would be deliciously ironic, and I got the hidden "irony" trophy; I actually laughed out loud because it was perfect.
I don't get the obssession with trophies as some kind of barometer of skill, most of the time you get them for just "playing the game". Like with the Final Fantasy VII Ps4 version where people wanted trophies disabled for anyone who toggled a cheat/booster. Really? You'd rather replay a decade old game you've already beat possibly several times before with all the warts, rather than appreciate they've made the random battles (i.e, the truthfully annoying bits) better to allow modern players to appreciate the story, or even just getting to a save point when you want to quit; IF THEY WISH.
@itshoggie Uncharted 4, the greatest game in the greatest series, on the greatest system of ALL TIME (c) (tm) is being discounted already. What does that prove?
@kyleforrester87 I always hate to always sound like Kranky Kong, "in my day" , and all that, but games are easy these days as a general rule.
I feel that in some way, the general design trend of games has gone from the challenge to get a high score, or whether you COULD beat the game to being interactive experiences to be enjoyed.
It does make sense, I suppose. With Alien Isolation, after three hours of repeatedly dying and being unable to get past the first section with people in, I've never played it again. I think years ago, though, I would have persevered; I remember the Aliens game on the Spectrum was fiendishly hard as a 7 year old and I spent hours upon hours upon hours on it, not getting anywhere.
I got this, Gravity Rush and The Witness and I think this is the one I'll be sticking with. I really like the Zelda / Journey / Retro feel.
@javman05 Yeah, it's the same as Sky Movies and Sports isn't it? You can't watch what you recorded and paid for, when you are no longer ~currently~ paying for it. It's a bit cheap, but in the real world, are you going to go back and play games 12 months later when you have a stack of new titles to play? Anything I would want to go back and play, I'd happily pay for.
@kyleforrester87
Ha! I also like Destiny mostly becuase of the small team Co-Op, and the fact there is always something to do, even if it is grinding/helping others in the dreadnaught etc, even though the story is well, um, spartan on Bungie's part (pun intended). I don't really play PvP, I like doing hard strikes with my friends, court of oryx, even though they may be deemed repetitive.
I do see why people don't like it though, though equally I do find it odd when people moan about the cost of something like The Taken King which, for me was an excellent upgrade.

It does read odd to me that people are ANGRY and are comparing their treatment to "filth" because they are playing a contemporary video game at a later date (but with bonus content, so it's marguably better "value" than the Xbox offering.). Us old farts remember late and inferior Streetfighter II ports on the Mega Drive that possibly cost more than the SNES and we were just happy to play the game; "Simpler times".
Not saying it isn't frustrating, but the anger seems disproportionate to the situation at first reading.
Infact, i'd RATHER wait till solo games are reduced or come in a GOTY with DLC for the majority of the time now because for me, the wait is more bearable than the paywall for the full experience.
Anyone and everyone is offended by everything, but the thing I find most distasteful though is the constant hijacking of debates to purport an agenda by assuming that every single person that doesn’t share your view is a stereotype of a “Knuckle Dragging Teefbreefer” or opposingly a “douchey SJW”.
When you look at Maria in Silent Hill 2, she was a sexualised character, but there was, for me a narrative reason for this as it was the opposite of James’ wife and the representation of the seductive temptation to “let go of the truth/past” .
Chloe in Drakes Fortune was a good example of a sexy, assertive woman with an interesting character. Nobody moaned too much about her.
Yes women have breasts, No I don’t care if they are in video games covered or not, but I did PREFER it when Rhianna Pratchett wrote Lara Croft in Tomb Raider as a strong, yet rounded female protagonist and the character model became an attractive, athletic woman with more realistic proportions.
Some of the overtly sexual, underwhelming character stuff is a bit tiresome for me as a fan, because of the lack of “value” in it, nothing other than that. I just personally think it can be a bit cheap/rubbish to use comedy giant boobs in lieu of a compelling character or narrative. I’d feel the same if it were giant man meat flopping around on my screen. I feel it equally when a protagonist seems to be a male, around 30, with a bit of stubble and looks like a men's health cover model, but has no personality other than "too cool for school"; disinteresting.
I still one hundred percent think there is a right to make these characters and games though, however, since ESPN is owned by Disney, I think people have to understand how keen DISNEY as a corporation are to protect their “family fun” image, even if it seems heavy handed.
If they think that they will lose sales and corporate image by having cartoon women slapping their bums, then female cartoon bum slapping simply won’t air.
That’s all there is to it, nothing to do with the government given "right" to make these things, or whether 1 person in Spokane, IL is offended. It’s about profit and image for a private corporation.
The sad thing is that most "hype" these days in anything is created by the people themselves, and especially people who try and turn it into some proxy war for something else.
There are people that hate these so called "arty farty" games and just want them to be reviewed as "crap" or literally be "crap" to make them feel better about their own personal view so they get really rabid.
Equally people who want to push these kinds of games get really rabid in their defence for exactly the opposite reasons, there's lots of talk and anticipation, when nobody is going to change their preconception anyway, and in the end, the release itself is almost a non event as everyone has already moved onto the next battleground/up coming release.
Predictably the people that were always going to hate it, hate it, the people that were always going to love it, love it, and somewhere between the "dirge" and "best ever" lies the actual quality of the release, and there is very little constructive or open minded discussion.
@blah01
Pretty much exactly how I feel. The programmer and inner astro physics nerd in me is actually excited by the mathematics and procedual generation itself. The tiny chance of discovering life on a planet, being a pioneer, or bumping into another human explorer is what's exciting to me.
Finding geographically interesting places and looking at them for no other reason than be astounded by the terrain!
It's a chance to realise the dreams and wonder of looking at the stars and imagining. That's what I'm buying my ticket for, the chance to explore in the hope of finding something interesting, and reading and seeing screenshots from people who do.
It might not turn out to be a good game by objective standards, but given that the trend is I am getting more enjoyment out of Indie and quirky games these days than the "quaterly revenue forecast" driven AAA blockbusters and given my interest in space, subjectively I am sure I will personally gain more pleasure an interest out of this than the latest Call Of Duty, which will probably be a fine game in terms of mechanics, presentation and multiplayer, just not something that strongly appeals to me these days.
@NomNom They tried to sue the makers of "The Banner Saga", a game about vikings epic stories (I. E. Exact what a Saga is) because clearly saga is a word more associated with candy crush.
Doesn't Taylor Swift own "1985" ? If she was born a year earlier, she would probably have sued George Orwell''s estate and Annie Lennox.
@get2sammyb Yeah! It's came flooding back to me now, after starting off what seems like a bit of a thriller, it just gets completely bonkers doesn't it?
@sub12 I usually get the launch Sony and then the "S" version of the xbox a couple of years later, however, they've pretty much told me "there's no point now, stick it out 3 years and wait till Scorpio vs Neo"
@airsick7 Ultra Macho? I felt Geralt was more like "The Man with No Name" , or "Yojimbo" or a Hard Boiled Detective; a world weary man of exceptional skill who goes about his business and believes in a job well done, and a code of morals that sometimes interferes with the nature of his "for hire" profession.
EDIT > I suppose the main difference is that Skyrim allows you to create a character, wheras Witcher III requires you to play a character.
Release a buggy unfinished game to a marketing date (ala Ubisoft) : "We hate you for Day 1 patches and ruining a beloved Franchise for profit forecasts! Die"
Postpone a game to give it more polish and the best possible product : "I have so little going on in my life, that 6 weeks wait for play a single title has ruined my life, die!"
@ApostateMage Yeah, the only thinig that could make me more excited was if there were multiple victory conditions ala Civilisation, i.e; travel to centre of universe is a an ultimate win find enough unique flora and fauna to help scientists treat a disease - medical win Find enough planets with a high correlation to Earth to be a colonisation win raise enough swag to be the baddest pirate in the galaxy - yaargh win.
Still, exploring space, setting my own goals, I can't wait! It might not be very good, but like a lot of subjective things, the concept appeals to me, so I'll probably get a good level of enjoyment out of it.
I am pretty sure at the top of the code you could have "PS_MODE" as a variable then (and this is rather simplistically), you'd have "If PS_MODE="NEO" DO DRAW_DISTANCE=45, OUTPUT=4K, FPS=60 ELSE DRAW_DISTANCE=30, OUTPUT=1080p, FPS=30".
It will be like making a PC game, only instead of a combination of everything, dev's will have to worry about fixed configuration a) or fixed configuration B)
I guess the only choice is if you feel you simply must upgrade for whatever "benefits" there are to being a "Neo4K" user, but this for me is no different to releasing a slim version of a console, but rather than smaller and more efficient, less power consumption on the hardware, they've gave you more horsepower for software.
@SteveButler2210 I found the same, but only summed it up simply to a friend that the writing/story/ RPG aspects have regressed at the improvement to mechanics and set pieces, map and physics. Still sank a heck of a lot of hours into it, but essentially I was playing Shooty Minecraft at the end, because I wasn't taken with any of the story choices on offer.
I love Fallout 4, but it has neither the best mechanics (MGS V) , the best "artistic approach" (Rapture), or perhaps the best writing/story/characters (W3) out of the games I've played on the shortlist.
@Grawlog
I'm with you. Not everything needs mouth frothing based on a supposed or imagined ulterior motive that only ultimately serves the narrative you had in mind already. You just wind yourself up.
Naughty Dog didn't say they were removing it because people were upset. They said it's because they don't find the joke funny.
Ultimately if you don't care enough to boycott the game based on the inclusion or exclusion of an alternative skin for the main character, let's just move on and forget our troubles over a big bowl of strawberry ice cream. Or a donut.
I thought the graphics were absolutely stunning, perhaps the best I have seen and the premise of the demo was cool.
However, the combat system wasn't really inspiring, it felt a bit simple, with no measure of skill and the standard enemies were not anything other than pin cushions to absorb mashed presses of circle. Perhaps I didn't pick up on the subtleties of it, or perhaps the demo didn't really explain the cool things you can do so well, I don't know.
The frame rate chugged repeatedly which sadly detracted from the otherwordly images.
Some of the music felt a bit "j-poppy", I found it personally irritating too, which was a bad reminder of XIII. It's nice the company gave us a demo, in the days of review embargos and "nothing is less than a 7 anyway", but sadly it's probably downgraded me from pre-order to "wait and see". The caveat should be that I have pre-ordered "No Man's Sky" , and the potential for getting burned on that is high, if I had a similar apathetic overall experience with a NMS demo that I had with the XV demo, I'd cancel that pre-order to be fair.
Though I really hope I am just being cautious and overall, it's a big return to form.
@Fath Cheerfully withdrawn, and rephrased : "It raises fears for me that the Final Fantasy 7 remake was just an exercise in purely extracting the highest possible return from the protracted development of the engine for XV, by trading further on the name and goodwill of the beloved installment, with the knowledge that any ill thought out tat shiny looking tat with "FFVII remake" on it will sell a certain amount."
Naturally, I now know this to be incorrect, thanks to your link.
The cynicism comes not from the reuse of an engine, but the use of the same engine to bang out thoughtless iterations from that engine with some new window dressing but decreasing quality (See Rock Band, Assassin's Creed and Call of Duty as poor offenders) . In the case of Fallout 3 and New Vegas, or GTA and Bully, or Red Dead Redemption there was clearly some improvements and thought behind the engine upgrades / tweaks and I felt there was a genuine desire to make a new good game based on an engine, not flog something to death and killing the golden geese.
Appreciate my off the cuff remarks didn't really eloquent this!
For me, It is literally just for the cloud storage and PSN discount now, and is worth it for that. If I get a PS4.5 or my PS4 just explodes in a cloud of smoke, the ability to restore my up to date Fallout saves quickly are the difference between me still playing the game going forward, or not. I don't play online multiplayer, and the free games are a bonus if the they interest me, at this stage.
Really looking forward to this as my favourite parts of Bethesda games for example are the exploration and creation of my character/identity. Also like Mass Effect and "spaaaaaaaace!", and Minecraft/Elite where you can make your own game/goals out of the sandbox you are given.
This sounds like it ticks all my boxes, and I'm still really excited!
@get2sammyb
It's like a "Minecraft for Adults" for me, the exploring, scavenging and building settlements has almost become "the game" and apart from radiant quests to level up, and feel like i'm "helping the commonwealth grow", not bothered about the story, never really have been in a Bethesda game.
@kyleforrester87 The accountability will be in the bottom line, did the decision to choose Unity and stick with it and the final product quality and related sales mean more profit than chucking it in the bin, rewriting large parts of it and delaying at more cost, but for the same sales?
@kyleforrester87 "Poor performance eh? I don't get at what point the developer is playing a game, sees that it runs badly and goes "yay, finished!""
This general notion is frustrating. Sometimes it feels that gamers think that games are all made by auteurs like Kojima and he single handedly did everything to his vision, knows it's bad but chucks it out for release and counts his $$$ while laughing at the poor reviews.
If you mean as an individual, I bet they won't. Infact they'll probably find it a little soul crushing it's released in the state it is with so much promise, but the project manager/director has told them they are out of time and money, so we'll have to release, issues be darned.
Equally they might have just been in working on the enemy AI and might actually be proud of that considering the time/money that was allocated to that section.
If you mean as a business, the same will apply, but the bean counters/marketing managers/sales directors will be a little upset the development team couldn't pull a rabbit out the hat and deliver ever changing requirements in a ridiculous timeframe, the developers might feel not enough time and money and resource was allocated to delievering the best interpretation of the design possible.
If you look at Kojima and Konami, that's a good example of the dynamic for me. Kojima would have bankrupted Konami by polishing down tiny facets to some silly degree, wheras Konami wanted the most profitable software that wasn't god awful.
@Shiryu Except for they seemingly aren't the best representations of something you either seemingly rabidly like or have no interest in, with no middle ground so "converting" someone means either they have to bang out a good game that people like despite the fact they still don't "get" wrestling.
Or you have to convince them that wrestling is good, and they'll forgive a not the best game.
@KratosMD
Agreed, as someone who plays "any/all" when it comes to games, I always felt that PSN and general value for money in being a PS3 owner was better when MS had avantage over Sony as I felt Sony were trying to "win you over".
Haven't got a XB1 yet, but I bet with a turn of the tables and now Microsoft trying to catch up this generation, you are in a good position the other way as a consumer.
As I feel the PS4 joypad is slightly better this gen, the Xbox pad is slightly worse and the games seem closer than ever in performance, I haven't yet seen any reason for me to get one, unlike last time, with initially the entire ME trilogy, and Fallout 3, New Vegas, Oblivion and Skyrim running much better on 360 with a prefferable joypad.
I still remember last year : - "Little Johnnie's Christmas RUINED after he still has £500 worth of gaming equipment he got from "Santa", but instead of locking himself in his room and playing his mate Baz at Fifa online, he might have to wait a couple of days of his school holiday to do that and instead spend Christmas and boxing day playing the dad that did countless overtime to pay for it offline, and actually, you know, talk to the old fart."
Truly the kind of chilling incident Childline was created for.
Good; It allows people to play the game how they want, instead of forcing people into "20 year old and aged so so badly" random battles which although nice and nostalgic for the fans, are perhaps the most frustrating part of the game when you just want to get to a save point.
In actual fact, this has made me more likely to buy it. I've completed it at least 4 times, but allowing me to disable battles so i can get to a save point when I need to, but turn them on so I can grind for hours if i want to is a really smart decision for me.
Not getting my breeches in a bunch over the "easy" trophies either, when I get trophies in games for watching intro videos, they are no currency of skill anyway.
I certainly don't play games to earn trophies, I try and earn trophies in games I enjoy playing.
@WARDIE
Personally, I think people should be commended for re-reviewing things as they grow as people and professionals and looking on them with a different lense. Do you still feel exactly the same way you did about things you enjoyed from years ago?
@Bad-MuthaAdebisi
Agree with the sentiment, but is this a better genre example of an 'experience' than The Last of Us, Journey, Flower, or Everybody has gone to the Rapture? I have liked David Cage games and "experiences" but I never felt any pull to play this initially.
I feel Sammy justified that stripping away the original experience of the impress of the graphics, some of the writing is a little hokey. In my mind, I thought of Avatar the movie; 5 years ago at the cinema, I was blown away by the technical and new experience of 3d. If i watched it now, or in 2d, I don't think I would feel as fondly about it.
@tenderbeefcake Truthfully, in this case I do think it's a commercial decision though hiding behind presure rather than saying "well, the jiggle demand in the west isn't high enough" .
It's not "banned" either , you can still import it. The actual censoring of Stick of Truth was worse (in EU/OZ).

Re: Talking Point: Will No Man's Sky Live Up to the Hype on PS4?

Re: Talking Point: Will No Man's Sky Live Up to the Hype on PS4?
@blah01

@NomNom
They tried to sue the makers of "The Banner Saga", a game about vikings epic stories (I. E. Exact what a Saga is) because clearly saga is a word more associated with candy crush.
Doesn't Taylor Swift own "1985" ? If she was born a year earlier, she would probably have sued George Orwell''s estate and Annie Lennox.

Yeah! It's came flooding back to me now, after starting off what seems like a bit of a thriller, it just gets completely bonkers doesn't it?
Re: E3 2016: Sony's Surprised Microsoft Announced Xbox Scorpio Over a Year Ahead of Time
@sub12
I usually get the launch Sony and then the "S" version of the xbox a couple of years later, however, they've pretty much told me "there's no point now, stick it out 3 years and wait till Scorpio vs Neo"
Re: Rumour: The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Is Being Remastered for PS4
@airsick7 Ultra Macho? I felt Geralt was more like "The Man with No Name" , or "Yojimbo" or a Hard Boiled Detective; a world weary man of exceptional skill who goes about his business and believes in a job well done, and a code of morals that sometimes interferes with the nature of his "for hire" profession.
EDIT > I suppose the main difference is that Skyrim allows you to create a character, wheras Witcher III requires you to play a character.
Re: No Man's Sky Dev Received Death Threats Over Delay
Release a buggy unfinished game to a marketing date (ala Ubisoft) : "We hate you for Day 1 patches and ruining a beloved Franchise for profit forecasts! Die"
Postpone a game to give it more polish and the best possible product : "I have so little going on in my life, that 6 weeks wait for play a single title has ruined my life, die!"
Why would any dev want to work on games?

Re: Feast Your Eyes on 15 Minutes of No Man's Sky PS4 Gameplay
@ApostateMage
Yeah, the only thinig that could make me more excited was if there were multiple victory conditions ala Civilisation,
i.e;
travel to centre of universe is a an ultimate win
find enough unique flora and fauna to help scientists treat a disease - medical win
Find enough planets with a high correlation to Earth to be a colonisation win
raise enough swag to be the baddest pirate in the galaxy - yaargh win.
Still, exploring space, setting my own goals, I can't wait! It might not be very good, but like a lot of subjective things, the concept appeals to me, so I'll probably get a good level of enjoyment out of it.

A black monolith, trippy colour tunnel and a french rennaissance room where you keep seeing older iterations of yourself?
Re: PS4K Is Codenamed Neo, Has Upgraded Specs, Will Not Supplant Existing PS4 Systems
Re: Fallout 4 Named Best Game at 2016 BAFTA Game Awards
@SteveButler2210
I found the same, but only summed it up simply to a friend that the writing/story/ RPG aspects have regressed at the improvement to mechanics and set pieces, map and physics.
Still sank a heck of a lot of hours into it, but essentially I was playing Shooty Minecraft at the end, because I wasn't taken with any of the story choices on offer.
Re: Fallout 4 Named Best Game at 2016 BAFTA Game Awards
I love Fallout 4, but it has neither the best mechanics (MGS V) , the best "artistic approach" (Rapture), or perhaps the best writing/story/characters (W3) out of the games I've played on the shortlist.
Re: Naughty Dog's Ditching Doughnut Drake in Uncharted 4
@Grawlog
Or a donut.
Re: Poll: Will You Be Buying Final Fantasy XV?
@Majic12
I'd be interested to see what your take is, after playing the demo, as it sounds like you were in a similar position to me.
Re: Poll: Will You Be Buying Final Fantasy XV?
Re: Final Fantasy XV Has to Sell a Helluva Lot of Copies to Be a Success
@Fath
Cheerfully withdrawn, and rephrased :
"It raises fears for me that the Final Fantasy 7 remake was just an exercise in purely extracting the highest possible return from the protracted development of the engine for XV, by trading further on the name and goodwill of the beloved installment, with the knowledge that any ill thought out tat shiny looking tat with "FFVII remake" on it will sell a certain amount."
Re: Final Fantasy XV Has to Sell a Helluva Lot of Copies to Be a Success
@AyanamiReign
It raises more fears for me, it's just using the/modified XV engine, as a cheap cash in to recoup cost for XV/make more profit.
But then I am a cynical old fart in gamer terms now.
Re: Talking Point: What's Gone Wrong with PlayStation Plus?
For me, It is literally just for the cloud storage and PSN discount now, and is worth it for that.
If I get a PS4.5 or my PS4 just explodes in a cloud of smoke, the ability to restore my up to date Fallout saves quickly are the difference between me still playing the game going forward, or not.
I don't play online multiplayer, and the free games are a bonus if the they interest me, at this stage.
Re: Hands On: PS4's No Man's Sky Is Gorgeous, Ginormous, and Potentially Great
Really looking forward to this as my favourite parts of Bethesda games for example are the exploration and creation of my character/identity. Also like Mass Effect and "spaaaaaaaace!", and Minecraft/Elite where you can make your own game/goals out of the sandbox you are given.
This sounds like it ticks all my boxes, and I'm still really excited!
Re: You'll Starve and Get Diseases in Fallout 4's Survival Mode
@get2sammyb
It's like a "Minecraft for Adults" for me, the exploring, scavenging and building settlements has almost become "the game" and apart from radiant quests to level up, and feel like i'm "helping the commonwealth grow", not bothered about the story, never really have been in a Bethesda game.
Re: Review: Firewatch (PS4)
@kyleforrester87
The accountability will be in the bottom line, did the decision to choose Unity and stick with it and the final product quality and related sales mean more profit than chucking it in the bin, rewriting large parts of it and delaying at more cost, but for the same sales?
Sad, but "the price of art" and all that.
Re: Review: Firewatch (PS4)
@kyleforrester87
"Poor performance eh?
Re: 2K Games Takes a Tighter Grip on the WWE License
@Shiryu
Except for they seemingly aren't the best representations of something you either seemingly rabidly like or have no interest in, with no middle ground so "converting" someone means either they have to bang out a good game that people like despite the fact they still don't "get" wrestling.
Or you have to convince them that wrestling is good, and they'll forgive a not the best game.

Re: Finally, We Can Compare PS4 and Xbox One Sales
@KratosMD
Re: Attackers Threaten to Take PSN Offline Again This Christmas
I still remember last year : - "Little Johnnie's Christmas RUINED after he still has £500 worth of gaming equipment he got from "Santa", but instead of locking himself in his room and playing his mate Baz at Fifa online, he might have to wait a couple of days of his school holiday to do that and instead spend Christmas and boxing day playing the dad that did countless overtime to pay for it offline, and actually, you know, talk to the old fart."
Truly the kind of chilling incident Childline was created for.
Re: PSX 2015: Final Fantasy VII's PS4 Port Has Cheat Modes
Re: Review: Beyond: Two Souls (PS4)
@WARDIE
Personally, I think people should be commended for re-reviewing things as they grow as people and professionals and looking on them with a different lense. Do you still feel exactly the same way you did about things you enjoyed from years ago?
@Bad-MuthaAdebisi
Re: Backlash Fears Have Stopped Dead or Alive Xtreme 3 From Coming West
@tenderbeefcake
Truthfully, in this case I do think it's a commercial decision though hiding behind presure rather than saying "well, the jiggle demand in the west isn't high enough" .
It's not "banned" either , you can still import it. The actual censoring of Stick of Truth was worse (in EU/OZ).
