Re: Sony Considered Raising PS5 Game Prices Beyond $70, Says New Report

REALROBLAW

Although people like to point out inflation, games made too much profit back in the early days. A small team of people literally made millions of dollars in profit. Today many games can have a ton of people making them but turn out bad. So to be honest, I would say if you make a game, it better be good. Don't expect to make up for it by raising the price of games because you want to rush out too many. As it is, the market is over saturated with lackluster titles. Even at $50 per game, if you sell 100,000 copies, that's a lot of money. Even a small team of people can make great games at a profit. Even though today's games look more intense, many tools are used to ease the process.

Re: The Dream Is Dead: PS5 Will Not Play PS3, PS2, or PS1 Games

REALROBLAW

Sucks. Only reason is they don't want to do it. Emulation would work wonderful on this. I feel like this is spitting in the face of the father of PlayStation and the name. The original meaning of PlayStation was you play "PlayStation" games on "PlayStation" systems. It was evidently expressed during PS2 interviews. Every generation was supposed to be able to play the previous ones. They just want to be cheap. Makes me frustrated.

@Flaming_Kaiser racism speech should not be blocked because of freedom of speech we can also argue against it and give great examples of why racism is wrong. A thought I have that in a (almost) perfect world if we hid racism from young eyes that there will still be some who will get racist ideas. That's how all of this started in the first place and if racism was hidden and not argued against, newer generations will think it's a new idea that has logic to back. It's best to be open about everything as much as possible. Ok enough talk on this. LET'S GET GAMING! πŸ˜πŸ‘πŸ»

Re: PokΓ©mon Go Makes Nintendo More Valuable Than Sony

REALROBLAW

It's just a fad. Nintendo gets a couple of good games going from them from time to time. I personally am not interested in pokejunk but I get laughs from all the news of people doing stupid stuff because of it. After this maybe game companies should recognize the power of mobile and release some winning games there instead of just their less popular devices.

Re: Poll: Would You Sell Back Your Digital PS4 Games for PSN Credit?

REALROBLAW

Not worth it! I love games and love to have games in a collection to play. Even 50% back is not worth it! When releasing a new version of the same game they should just give it to the ones who already purchased it or at least in a discount. Not try to take them back! I wish they would also allow others to make servers for other games they discontinue that are online so we don't lose great history, stories and art. Many are great experiences that down the road I like to try out again and show others.

Re: Talking Point: Should Sony Build an Elite DualShock 4 Controller for PS4?

REALROBLAW

I wish they would just make a new model of dualshock that fixes the flaws in the original dualshock 4. I want the triggers and buttons more durable, the springs for the triggers less fatiguing, ability to turn off the light bar and a longer battery life. I am so annoyed at the build quality of this generations dualshock controller that Sony should improve upon it and issue a recall. We shouldn't have to repair or replace them in less than a year. Pretty ridiculous!

Re: EA Games: Publishers Pushing PS4 Remasters Have Run Out of Ideas

REALROBLAW

I do want remasters of some of my favorite games. I also use backwards compatibility on my PS3 from time to time. I am very mad that the original idea of "PlayStation" went away. The original idea I remember was that the newer consoles were always going to have backwards compatibility. I always want the option of playing older games without worrying about if my old console messes up that I can no longer play some of my favorite classics. I would gladly pay for it. Just like I had no problem with paying $600 for the PS3 at release because I knew it had all I wanted at the time. I would have paid $600 again for a PS4 with full PlayStation backwards compatibility. They should make different models that have the backwards compatibility and some without which should please everyone as well as attract more customers. Too bad Sony executives made a poor decision on hosing backwards compatibility because that tells me the ones making the decisions aren't gamers but money hungry and can care less about their legacy fans.

Re: Never Say Never to New WipEout Release on PS4

REALROBLAW

I like Wipeout. I always have. But at the same time I think it needs some vast improvement. It would be good to upgrade vehicle components and weapons, have wider and less seizure inducing courses. To me, the game play of past games was a little clunky and not very free feeling. I always preferred F-Zero vehicle control feel over Wipeout's but I love having weapon game play. I also would like to play it in 3D as I have a good 3D tv, it would look cool. Although I would like a new Wipeout game, I would much prefer Motorstorm.
