Sony's Giving Away Free Copies of Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare This Week

Thinking of buying a PlayStation 4 this week? Good news, as Sony's announced that starting 4th November through 5th November you'll be able to snag a free copy of Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare when you pick up a $299.99 console from participating retailers in the US and Canada. This unfortunately does not include the PS4 Pro, but is still a good deal if you're not in the market for the supercharged system.

In fact, some stores still have the Uncharted 4: A Thief's End bundle in stock, so theoretically you should be able to snag a 500GB console and two games for just $299.99 this week. So, clicked on the link and even the blog doesn't list the stores.

So I went from being really excited and rushing out to get this to - oh wait, they are just trying to get rid of the copies of the game nobody will be buying b/c everybody wants the "legacy ed" w/ MW remastered with a console nobody wants b/c Pro comes out next week. Something like that.

Maybe you're right @get2sammyb maybe I will never buy one.

@rjejr I'm sure GameStop, Best Buy, and all the usual "big" retailers will be on board with this TBH.

@get2sammyb You're probably right, but something like this - buy a console, get X game free - is usually in the ad flyers (sorry, I don't know what you guys call them over there, or if you even have them actually).

So this week, Best Buy has - buy an X1S, get any game $59.99 free, I think b/c GoW4 releases Friday as well. And "Save $20 when you buy CoD and a PS4". Why say save $20 when you buy a PS4 and CoD if they are giving the game away for free? Oh, funny thing, the pic for that as is of the PS4 PRO model.

Oh, funnier thing, the Best Buy website does have it for free. Still the Pro pic though. Page 11 of 52.
