It doesn't mean it's a small game but they took advantage of ps5's great architecture which uses less storage. The Xbox series x version is 40gb

@IOI the way PS5 ran it, it can't be done without an SSD. In PC you don't need it if you're running 30 fps/720p no ray tracing and low settings

I honestly tried to get into it 3 times. Twice on PS4 and once on PC. To me gameplay/combat is King. I felt that part was lacking so each time after about 20-25 hrs in, I put the game down. But I don't doubt the quality of it and am not blind to why people love it. 50M in sales is well deserved and hope fans get an even better release next time

Loved everything about this game and would love to play NG+ when I do. Currently finishing up Atomic Heart and Hogwarts Legacy. Will be starting RE4 Remake after and more games releasing after that.

@Axelay71 even when Sony decides to make all future games ps5, 3rd party companies will continue to make games on it.

The idea of MS not supporting PS is absurd but they cancelled starfield while in production for PlayStation.

@ceedj HFW is better than the first in every way especially mechanics and Combat.

@Dr_Luigi yeah I'm in the same situation. I have a gaming PC, gaming laptop, steam deck, switch, 3ds, Wii u and ps5. My issue was not having enough time to play my games/backlog so the steam deck is really helping me with that lol.

@Dr_Luigi I never play steam deck at home and I get alot of use on it. I play when I'm done with all my duties at work and on train to and from work. If you can afford it, they can both exist nicely lol

@Tharsman consoles are usually sold at an extremely great value and money is made on software accessories/peripherals. Can't really compare it to the console to judge if it's priced fairly or not l.

@SrpskaArtilerija they actually have protested in their messed up communistic system. Even children at the age of 5 and 6 were being arrested. I also have a bunch of Russian friends at my job that are totally against what's going on.

IMO this is a deserving reward. While I played both elden ring and HFW, put more hrs in Elden ring I love them equally. But for GOTY, HFW has more going for it and definitely more well rounded. While elden ring might be superior in one aspect, HFW is superior in other/aspects. Soulborne fans are clear why elden ring is better but when looking at visuals, mechanics, combat, music, acting, story, sound, technology, graphics and other areas HFW stands superior. And for GOTY, all boxes has to click IMO..... It has more going for it

They didn't take anything and it's simply a result of Sony not getting parts and not the preference of fans. It's also more evident from the fact that I can find and Xbox but the same can't be said for PS

@Shinnok789 they actually announced release date for GOW in January and released in April.

@itsfoz probably because they already have a set date, maybe the big June show and don't want to spoil any information now.

@themightyant Sony also wanted to move to a strategy where they don't announce/hype games too early. I think that's where they're going with their future

@jmads absolutely not. If judging by the same standards (#'s sold only on PlayStation) Sony games has sold more.

They don't own sumo but do own the IP. So it's either the IP or studio....

@BoldAndBrash the difference is that sony games are more accessible within the platform and have a difficulty setting which I appreciate. Games like GOW, Spiderman, forbidden west are awesome when setting the difficulty higher. GOW on hard to me was as hard as these fromsoft games.
