I do miss racing games like TOCA 1 and 2, Colin McRae rally 1 and 2 etc They were just fun to play, and I’m not a fan of sims although rally games have always been sim/difficult for me. Hot wheels do have the fun factor though 👍
@GirlVersusGame Wow fair play to that. I played ARK with my son and set sail on a raft at night and I had an awesome spear and was killing everything then a huge underwater dino came up from the sea and destroyed us and the raft. Short story shorter, never played since 😂
Been really liking Grounded (solo Campaign). With most survival games I usually start but never finish apart from Green Hell and The Forest but this really is fun. Continuing my Insanity run on RE9 still (just got to Raccoon City).
Going for a Thai curry with some mates tonight so should be a good night 👌
Looks like a poor man’s Edge controller but at a premium price. Me and my son have gone through 3 DS controllers, I finally forked out for the Edge and it’s brilliant. Will be getting him one at some point but not this.
I was exactly the same with Oblivion, Fallout 3 and Skyrim. I really did enjoy those games even though like you said ran like dog**** on the PS3.
I’ll always remember walking into Virgin Megastore and finding Oblivion there with a sticker on it that said “if there’s any game worth the price of the PS3 it’s Oblivion”
Slowly getting my Arcade bigger and better in Arcade Paradise. Managed to grab the Platinum on Fallout 4 yesterday as I left the game 2yrs ago with a couple trophies to get but couldn’t be bothered with em. I need to play AW2 tonight but I feel I should play the first Alan Wake to know what the hell is going on haha. Almost finished my first season on PGA 2K25 so I’ll be trying a harder difficulty on my second.
Had my first curry to beat me last weekend 😢 (6 pints in the sun pre curry wasn’t to blame 🤢). So trying Dominoes with the family and maybe a few sneaky lagers today 👌
Nearly purchased Hades 2 yesterday but I refused the inevitable gaming version of crack and settled for Arcade Paradise instead. Great little game so far.
Also lots of Resident Evil plus PGA Tour 2K25 and Snooker 19 with a mate on Sunday.
RE4 Remake and Balatro today. Requiem has put me in the mood for a lot of RE games and 4 is awesome, 2 Remake tomorrow!
I was robbed by the Gooch yesterday on GTAV online (don’t think I’ve laughed that hard before at a game). Didn’t even know The Gooch was a thing (giggling whilst writing this).
Lots of Slayer in me lug holes and some very spicy Korean noodles to soak up the beer whilst watching the football today too!
@UnlimitedSevens Exactly, I platinumed Diablo 3 and 4 but those games are meant to go on forever but after getting the shiny a** gong I just deleted them both even though I enjoyed the hell outta them.
I seem to feel after a platted game is, nothing more to do so never play it again. But I still would like to come back to those games but the highest trophy being already accomplished, it sort of puts me off. I almost wish trophies weren’t a thing anymore.
I’ve had the game on my shelf for ages since buying from a mate and my Pro arrived Saturday so I will get to this eventually. Just need a better TV now 💰 😭
@GirlVersusGame Wow! That’s some Groschen. I only get a few hours at a time and I’m mainly levelling up my sword. Defence is Max as is Horsemanship but not getting very far in the story.
After a lot of Requiem this week (insanity difficulty is the last trophy I need) I’ve decided give it a rest and focus on other games like Mass Effect and Alan Wake 2. I didn’t much like AW 1 so I’m not sure how much I’m going to like the sequel. But with my Pro arriving in about 5 hours I’m keen to discover it.
2 was and still is my favourite. I Remember playing the demo so many times. When I got round to play the full game I was hooked. The lore, monsters and great characters was just something I couldn’t ignore. I found the first one difficult as hell but the 2nd just clicked. Gotta be one of the best gaming franchises ever. The films have been meh but liked the first two.
After reading the article about Shenmue III and talking to a mate who’s played all 3 I’m going to get 1 and 2 hopefully this weekend. Never played them and they’re super cheap at the moment.
Same mate also put the PSVR2 on me and I was immersed in the safari scene on Call of the Mountain and now I really want to revisit HZD 😂
I really want to play other Resident Evil remakes as Requiem has given me the survival horror bug. Balatro a lot too as I’ve seemed to have forgotten about it.
It will be the AMAZING RE9 and completing my 2nd play through mostly all weekend. Great game but I really do agree with Push squares review, only read it yesterday. Great combination of 4 and 7. Grace is annoying though in the cutscenes, constantly got her head down when talking with people and stuttering 😂
Will also be grinding the excellent Medieval life simulator that is KCD for combat levels (hated it at the beginning but it’s slowly clicking with me) and the many other skills needed.
Unfortunately I’ve had a family friend stayingover last night and family member so gaming will be limited 😢.
RE9 will have to wait til Sunday now and I’m gutted as I’m playing as Leon and in a familiar place so I’m eager to jump back in.
I’ve done a big quest line in KCD but unfortunately on stupidly low health against a certain black knight so had to restart to the beginning of the quest and go back to combat training, small tasks and activities.
I’ll probably end up playing Slay the Spire and a little Minecraft with my son till Sunday.
Football with a slice of Beer and a dash of Heavy Metal as always 🤘👍
Managed to play it for a few hours last night and what a game! Been playing the Resident Evil series since PS1 and they’ve all been fantastic. Maybe not 6 as much though 😂
@GirlVersusGame Wow, nice mix there and decent recommendations. Been cranking out Moonspell and Stutterfly whilst cooking the family a roast. Have a great Sunday 👍
After 81 hrs I finally Platinumed Dragon Age: The Veilguard, would’ve been quicker if there wasn’t a bugged quest which meant I had to do a 2nd play through. Great game!
Currently enjoying the excellent KCD which I wasn’t enjoying at first but stuck with it. Lots and lots of combat training and side quests before I even think about the main story. Clearing the Terry Gilliam esque map from clouds as well lol. Such a deep RPG, I love it.
My copy of Resident Evil Requiem arrived at 9pm yesterday so didn’t get to play as much as I wanted to last night but what little I did play I liked. Looks great and can’t wait to crack on with that over the weekend.
Lastly I’ve started playing Slay the Spire and got to Act 2. Decent game so far.
My copy is arriving tomorrow 🤞 and I’ve been looking at getting a PRO. Would have to get a new tv though as mine doesn’t have all the bells and whistle’s that the PRO needs.
Great month for me. Never played Monster Hunter or Elder Scrolls and I like the odd round of golf with a mate online (he always kicks my a** unfortunately) 👍
Dragon Age: The Veilguard still as going for the platinum. Need to start other games in my back log but really want to finish Veilguard first.
I tried the Pragmata demo and it wasn’t for me unfortunately. When I first started it up I was getting Vanquish vibes but soon realised the hacking/shooting wasn’t my cup of tea.
Beer,Films, Heavy metal and Fa cup Football all day too 👍

Re: 5 Things That Surprised Me Playing Star Wars: Galactic Racer on PS5
Not a fan of Star Wars but after reading this I’ll definitely give it a go down the line.

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 637
After 35hrs I finally platted RE:Requiem, fantastic game although not my absolute favourite, it’s up there ☝️.
Got a free house today (apart from my very bouncy German Shepherd) so it’s going to be more RE with RE2R and RE4R
Still crafting and getting destroyed by massive bugs in Grounded 👌
Going to an arcade with my mate and his son for some Time crisis, Point Blank and SEGA Rally etc this afternoon.
Have a great gaming weekend Pushsquarians! 🍻

Nice one I’ll definitely check Raft/Abiotic Factor out 👍. I tried Stranded Deep a while back but really didn’t like it.

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 635
Bit of everything this weekend, either side of my son’s birthday today.
I’ve recently started Ready or Not and Pacific Drive. Both great games but with very tiny writing and very finicky controls.
RE9 on insanity.
A bit of GTAV online madness and with a dash of PGA 2K25 (the G.O.A.T trophy is driving me insane 😠)
Have a great gaming weekend Pushsquarians! 🍻
Re: PS Plus Essential, Extra Games for June 2026 Announced
That’s a good month. Been told to play Grounded and Warhammer looks decent.

Doom in Toontown! I love it.
Re: PS5 Prices Jump Tomorrow, This Is Your Last Chance to Get a Deal Before the Increase
Yeah Sony kinda pushed me into getting a Pro last weekend. Haven’t really noticed a difference yet but that’s the old TVs fault.

Yeah done that haha. I was watching the Running Man (Arnie) and the Krays 👍

Re: A PS1-Era Cross Between Silent Hill and Truck Simulator Is Not Something We Knew We Wanted
Would be something I’d play to have a break from the big single player/horror games but not yet. Got loads to play right now.
Re: Vampire Survivors PS5 Spin-Off Over Double the Price of the Original, But It'll Be More Than Worth It
I’ll be grabbing this! Loved VS although I had it on the switch. Slay the Spire, Balatro and now VSC soon. Pure indie heaven!

Better late than never. Awesome demos there 👍
Re: Metal Gear Solid Delta Already One of the Best-Selling Versions of MGS3
Never played any MGS but I’ve always wanted to. Think I’ll be grabbing this in the year.
Re: Resident Evil Requiem Story DLC Confirmed, Bonus Mode in May
90% complete so I’m looking forward to story driven DLC and different modes. Cracking game.
Re: Fatal Frame 2: Crimson Butterfly Remake (PS5) - A Terrifying New Angle on a Survival Horror Classic
“Instead, much of the fear comes from what isn’t there”
This is exactly why I wanna play this now.
I’ve heard of the series but never played them so I’ll be getting this after Requiem.
Great review Liam

43 and loving Requiem
Re: Assassin's Creed Unity PS5 60FPS Patch Out Now

Re: The New LEGO Batman Only Has 7 Playable Characters, But They're Far More Fully Formed
I think it’s a great idea. Great having tons of characters but I always ended up only using a handful.
Looking forward to playing this.

@naruball I think I tried it yonks ago but like Veilguard I wasn’t really feeling it. Which means I may try it again too 😂
