I could see this happening Sony like to get into FPS genre and online games. They will be getting well establish franchises, successful sales and big fan base. I don’t see Sony taking chances on smaller studios and fail. Having Skyrim and fallout as an exclusive will guarantee Sony a success for next gen

@Nyne11Tyme I understand that but you can’t fall sleep on obsidian and ninja theory they can deliver good quality games. I just feel like they need a good studio that can deliver good rpg games. They only have horizon

Sony needs to step there game up and at least acquire one or 2 more studios to go toe to toe with Xbox next gen

@Deljo never been Xbox type of guy but yeah the design is nice but those graphics are unreal. Can’t wait to see wait to see what ps5 1st party games will look

Is it me or I wasn’t to impress with the graphics like I was with Hellblade. The series X will have more power than the ps5

I think Sony needs to either develop more rpg or acquire studios that can make good rpg games. I think a studio that has talent to do it is Asobo studios will be great purchase. Also Sony needs to think on bringing back titles like Socom, resistance and syphon filter with a good multiplayer

Very good game with twisted story that kept me wanting to play more. Only bad thing were the bugs when it release

I see this title selling 5+ millions to be a hit for Sony after all the money the invested. I see it happening and maybe this will motive Sony to acquire KP

I wasn’t going to purchase the game till I decided not to listen to critics and give it a chance and I must say I don’t regret it. The graphics are gorgeous, the story is great and the gameplay is a little different that I’m use to but it’s still draws u in to keep playing. I live in America I must say they need to give this game a chance, don’t listen to the critics and find out on ur own and always be willing to play different genre game. Not everything is action and multiplayer

@get2sammyb how much longer can Sony ride with the remakes. I think Sony needs to invest more on studios that can deliver multiplayer experiences. Or buy a studios that can bring back Socom franchise

@FullbringIchigo if Sony was going to spend that much money on square enix I would rather have them going after The Witcher Developers. They will have exclusive rights to the greatest franchise in the witcher and possibly cyberpunk

I would say platinum games after the release of astral chain. But I see them buying kojima pro. and housemarque there are pretty familiar with each other and I can see them pursuing a Japanese’s game studio also

That make sense but how late they will be delaying GHost of Tsushima Sony is not known to release there major titles in the fall and winter. I will suggest that it will release with the ps5 and be part launch title and PS4

@jdv95 I forgot to mention to also release on ps4 also. I’m just thinking on how well this game would it be if it was built for ps5 with the power it will have but also release for PS4.

Sony should make TLOU a PS5 launch title and take advantage of the fully power system. It will be a console seller and plus there are to many great games coming out next year. FF7, cyberpunk, personal royal, marvel avengers etc.

@Splints it won’t be a good acquisition at all unless Sony gets the exclusive rights to all there sports games and Star Wars. That’s highly unlikely

Why nobody is talking about Sony jumping on a studios like from software, platinum games or even better bungie will be a great purchase since Sony wants to push on multiplayer games

I must say Sony is trying something new and I wasn’t expecting anything great. I must say they did pretty good on psvr titles. They showed me that they will supported for years to come. Any news is good news whether it is new or not I really enjoy this one. I will bet Sony will get better

Can anyone tell me how this is a competition for Sony ? They need exclusive titles for them to make it appealing for people. People buy Nintendo for the Zelda and mario, Xbox for halo and gears and Sony for there awesome exclusives. Plus I don’t want to give up on my physical copies of the games. I just hope that this not the direction Sony will go next gen I’ll be dam if they do.

I’m definitely looking forward to it. Can’t wait for those hordes of freabies to come after me

@get2sammyb how much replay value does the game has ? Like horizon and gow I kept on coming back to play it months down the road

Just platinum until dawn needed to go back to my backlog and now I’m full go with KH3 till division 2 comes out.

Persona 6 for next gen ASAP

I think this game has potential of selling well depends on reviews and replay value. But in my opinion I don’t thinks it that great and won’t be buying it unless is $20 since it looks like an easy trophy. But till then I’ll be cleaning my backlog starting with KH3 and RE 2

@InsertUsername to me I feel like they can at least acquire 2 or 3 more studios so they can be deliver more games for ps5. Just imagine if they can purchase from software and studios like platinum games or atlus. They won’t break the bank like a studio insomniac.

Great news from Sony now they just need to used that money and make a few studios acquisition so they can stay ahead and keep up with MS. Since now they lost Quantic Dream.

capcom should of remade all 1st 3 entries of RE games and sold it for $60. Like crash and Spyro that’s the way should of gone

Capcom needs to learn from there mistakes and make resident evil like this. Resident evil 7 was good don’t get me wrong but this franchise is best played on 3rd person.

RDR2 half way platinum and relive some memories with RE 2 remake can’t forget cup of tea and Oreo cookies

Sony needs Bloodborne 2 for ps5 more than anything if they want to keep up with MS next gen. MS got some good studios ninja theory, obsidian and inxile (I think that’s the name) that was a big win for them. They look like they are not stopping buying more. Sony need to strategize outside of 1st party studios. Go buy from software they have the money

Off course they can point fingers to make Sony look bad but cross play is not in there mind because they can loose sale. But I bet once sales slow down they will do it

@Shigurui exactly I was expecting more like nier automata gameplay which enemies will be more aggressive. But I’ll definitely pass on this. I think KH3 will satisfy hack and slash hunger next year

Graphic and gameplay looks pretty cool but it looks to easy and the enemies are just standing there waiting for you to attack. It need to be more challenging than this.

This is a distraction from the cross play issues but is a good thing viva la Sony

Sony as a company doesn’t need to do big changes especially been on top by a margin lead. This is all MS trying to do whatever it takes to win fans back by allowing these features on the Xbox. If Sony does do cross play they should do it with Nintendo and pc and not join the competition MS

I’m must say it was disappointing loosing a studio like ninja theory to MS but we should wish them good luck and hope for the best for them. They seen genuine and humble studio and having an apportunity to expand there ideas in gaming without worrying about there studio closing down. Hopefully Sony can counter MS moves by acquiring some studios like insomniac or from software but I guess they have enough studios under there helm to be successful from this generation and on.

I get a gut feeling that Sony is either not bringing us Bloodborne 2 or they will surprise us with Bloodborne for ps5 launch title. It is one of the most demanding game right now

I’m still lost for words for death stranding coming from Hideo Kojima. What’s the gameplay going to be ? But TLOU 2 gameplay looks amazing and spider man bitter sweet. Ghost of Tsushima looks interesting but is this game going to have rpg elements to it.
