I'm a huge fan of the people who came and read this article about a 17 year old GTA game potentially getting a release on the ps5 that then voted they have no interest in GTA games 🤣

My ps5 pads used to charge from my phone charger but no longer does, it's such a simple qol upgrade that it's a bit depressing that they haven't fixed it.

Who does the voice over? After years of spock it was yarring with Sean Bean in civ 6. He phone'd in that performance, I'd almost rather have Gary in the customer services department of frixasis do it.

Idk if I'm going to buy it or not but no one should be ashamed to buy it, even if they have repeatedly played the originals. I know I would definitely give them a go if they turn up on plus at some point.

There no need for any outrage, they are a company trying to make money - if you want to support it then do, if you don't then walk on by. At the very least imagine never playing these games when they came out, now you've an opportunity to buy those 3 games.. All of them masterclasses at open world when released.. and you should be ashamed to get them for the price of one game? Chill out.

The only question I'm asking myself is am I going to buy this a third time. I think the answer is no but if there are good deals on it eventually ( there will be imo ) I might.
I really enjoyed this single player experience but I don't think I can play it through a 4th time. Probably.

I'm looking forward to playing it now it's come to ps plus but I'm sad there won't be a sequel that I could get on ps plus in a couple of years.

I loved ff7 back in the day, not as much as my brother who unlocked all the mega weapons etc but I loved it nonetheless.
I can't be arsed to play the remake and neither can my brother, we both tried but I quit after the first mission and he quit before reaching the first boss.
It just wasn't for me, which is fine. I'm glad loads of people loved it but I've moved on and so has final fantasy, it's not the same game I played all those years ago and I'm not the same bright eyed boy either.

Back on topic, I think I only briefly played the second one and liked some of the story but felt like I had missed out by not playing the first so I'm quietly excited about this release. Looking forward to the review.

Just buy a PS2 on eBay for less than £50 if you want to play old games, then sell it again once you're done. It will probably cost you £15 to have a year of PS2 gaming, I would guess you won't need that long to want to sell it but who knows?

Rocket League... Sigh... One day I'll play something else.. Maybe..

I had a ps5 in my basket on Amazon the other day and decided not to pull the trigger. I remember my excitement queuing up on launch night to bag my PS4, I just don't feel it this time. I'm going to see how the whole £70 a game pans out and might just save my money for a pc instead. Sony are going to continue to release their games there and yeah.. It's a tough one, a really tough one.

@themightyant as others have said, the skull ceiling is huge but the reward is fantastic. Rather than upgrading your car you upgrade yourself. To pull off some of the mechanics you'll need 100s (if not 1000s) of hours in the game but when it all clicks it's magic. Definitely a fantastic game to play with your friends. A good starting point is the why you suck at rocket League YouTube series by sunlesskhan. Good luck.

I'm never going to buy this game and after writing this I won't think about it again, however I do think it's hilarious that people are defending this practice. Shame on you. Good to see that ea have accepted they made a mistake and done a U-turn. Adiós.

@raven11229 I don't think it is, I'm not sure who (if anyone) has said it is. Still if people don't like the selection they will say so and while I don't have ps now, if I did I'd be angry about it too.
Now I'm not particularly interested in either game this month but that doesn't bother me, I've enjoyed some of the games this year. However the thing that annoys me is that I MUST have ps plus if I want to play with friends and that's a giant piss take.
So what with Sony finally looking like they are going to open up their first party games to PC's I'm going to factor in the cost of another 6 or 7 years of plus added to the cost of the ps5 when deciding whether to buy a ps5 or build a pc.

@LN78 I agree. Headset is good enough but the controller's are a huge pain for anything more complicated than beat saber

@Snackfood multiplayer for me although I subbed before PS4 came along because the games were good quality. Considering getting a PC instead of a ps5 tho. 7 years of ps plus is about £300 so I can add that to the price of the ps5 to decide what to do.

I guess sf5 might be okay but this is a pants month. If rather have killzone Shadow fall and the order 😂😂

@Flaming_Kaiser meh .. I don't want to pay for it so if it's not free I never will play it. I am okay about that choice. I'm sure there are some games you'd want that I would consider a waste of a slot but I wouldn't have a go at you about it haha.

@Number09 I love GTA when I'm playing it but the load times are painful. That was definitely a bad night but in my experience trying to get a group of friends together in GTA can take quite some time.
Although these days I play way too much rocket League and I've been spoilt by the speed at which you can boot the game and be playing, when GTA online first came out it was everything I imagined it would be and I ignored the load times. Hopefully next gen will fix these issues as it really is an incredible playground with lots of fun things to do.

Maybe I just have bad luck but any time I've tried to play it's suffered from serious issues. It's fun when I'm playing but the amount of time i have to spend getting a couple of friends into a party in game just for it to kick one of us out to have to exit to queue again and numerous other issues... Could just be the time I play it and I really the servers are under strain and the same thing happened with rocket League which is over of my favourites but IMHO it needs a lot of work.

@Number09 if it took seconds I'd play it more often. I spent 10 minutes trying to get into a game with a friend a couple of weeks ago. Don't get me wrong, it's fantastic when you're playing it but the load times are atrocious, sure it's not as bad as the spectrum when I was growing up but it's unacceptable in this day and age.

If they don't bring the workshop maps to consoles I'm going to be very sad.

I'm a sometimes great, sometimes awful diamond player in competitive 2s and 3s but mostly it's my teammates fault that I'm not in champ 😂

@gomersoul I doubt we will see a sequel. The eSports scene is doing well for them and they can't afford to split the player base. What I imagine will happen is it'll become free to play on next gen consoles and will continue to be cross play.
Hopefully they will add some of the workshop maps that are on pc. DMCs speed jump/rings and French fries' dribble challenge 2 would be enough.

@terra you can see how many hours you've logged in rocket League under career stats.

I've logged about 40 days in rocket League I still suck. Incredibly deep game with a ridiculously high skill ceiling.

Im looking forward to playing this on ps plus on my ps5 in 2 years time.

I couldn't agree more, great game, strange music but... Well.... Some of it has become a guilty pleasure.

I'd recommend the first monstercat pack.. Lots of tracks, some quite different, none that I'd choose to listen to outside of the game (maybe) and it's all EDM but I find it's the best for swinging your arms around. If you like the base tracks then it's more of the same and some turned up to 11

Onrush is not underrated. Just saying. 😂

When are we getting Skyrim ps5 complete edition? That's all I want to know.

I'm still very excited about this games potential. They seem to be trying to create something new. I hope it works out as the concept of forming bonds with nature seems like it could be incredibly deep.
