In the immortal words of Dr. Ian Malcolm, life finds a way — and Jurassic Park finds ways to stay in the zeitgeist. Just announced is Jurassic Park: Survival, a first-person action adventure game, and it's coming to PS5.
Set after the events of the original movie, you're placed in the shoes of InGen scientist Dr. Maya Joshi, who fails to evacuate the dinosaur-infested island. You'll explore a "fully realized" Isla Nublar as you outwit and outrun various dinosaurs, each with their own "distinct and adaptive" behaviour. "Distraction and stealth" will be your keys to survival in tense encounters with the prehistoric beasties.
Sadly there's no date, or even release window, so this could be a ways off. However, the prospect of a big, proper Jurassic Park game is super exciting. What do you think of Jurassic Park: Survival? Say the magic word in the comments section below.

Jurassic Park: Survival Horror???
I might just be the wrong age but it does feel like Jurassic Park is inexplicably well-served compared to larger franchises. Like how they still make Ghostbusters movies that dads take their kids to see on their one day shared custody.

Considering the Jurassic movies still make over a billion each at the box office, it is still a very lucrative franchise.
There was so much care put into showing how those locations from the movie would look in a game (albeit a cutscenes). But, Jurassic Park meets Alien: Isolation? Looks incredible and is looking like my favourite announcement of the show. Probably not until 2025/2026, but can't wait.

I would always have nightmares as a kid having these dinosaurs chasing me... But im willing to face my fears I'll play this. Hell give me a VR mode too while youre at it

That trailer was awful. She fumbled around, made loads of noise then magically escaped each dinosaur just like that.
Looks nice, but the gameplay looks basic. I assume there's a lot of running and probably QTE's.
The main character looks a lot like Mia Khalifa. Not that I have any idea who she is.

I hate how she was hiding behind the exact same platform in the kitchen. Makes it feel like a parody.
The rest looks fine, but I agree that a 3rd person perspective (or the option) would have been preferable. There's almost no dinosaur games that use it anymore.
