@SeaDaVie Thank you for confirming, that is what I asked, simple yes or no. There is no need for the damage control you did there. Especially, because that was not 3-4 decals buddy, and you know it
@SeaDaVie Looking at your avatar. So you say, using AI in creative processes is bad, but using plagiarism is ok? I mention plagiarism in relation to Marathon, yes.
@11001100110zero We have seen it few times already. „Forza is bad” first, then it occupied PS too sales rankings for weeks. Still does. Same for MFS, Indiana or Oblivion Remake.
I see people joking here and there, but when its released you will see it for weeks in top sales ranking there.
Was pretty nice to play, the ships, the world, the realistic physics, but I don’t like sci fi that much. Played some, was ok. But for same reason never like any Mass Effect, or any Halo. I would prefer if they focused on ES6 instead of this.
I mean, Sony is fighting so much with games like this, claiming it is too similar, but at the same time most of the games developed under PlayStation China project are so much copycats it is as much obvious. But these are ok for them
I have no problem with overhours under two conditions: company is paying for them, and it is my decision to do overhours.
Are they paying? I doubt, like most corps they probably are not. It’s also far from being voluntary. That is why I personally am pretty disappointed in ND.
In the past, you were sure you will get lots of exclusive titles in a relatively short amount of time. Hence, the console sold very well. Now, you get 1 exclusive a year, and most of these are sequels, lacking anything fresh and revolutionary. Don’t know about you guys but I feel incredibly tired of playing the same character, game type, the same IP over and over again.
Nintendo sells better because it has different model - you pay once and get handheld and stationary in one, with a long list of exclusive titles and most of 3rd parties coming as well. I don’t see Sony’s handheld being a competition to Nintendo Switch, one gets dedicated games on cartridges, the other will not get dedicated games, only PS Store access to play the same library like stationary.
This will not bring attention of people who wanted Vita 2.
@guacguacboo I would not spend that money on ANY game. The only games I paid more than $40 is Elden Ring and few rare DS/3DS games that would grow value.
I played most of Sony, Xbox and Nintendo titles, plus lots of 3rd party titles, and always wait for sales or preowned copies. There are better ways of spending money
Morrowind was awesome. Oblivion and Remake are awesome. Skyrim is awesome. And ES6 will be awesome but damn.. waiting so many years is just so difficult.
Crimson Desert, this looks incredibly good.
Blood of Dawnwalker, made by people that gave us Witcher 3, will be great.
Phantom Blade, but will wait for release to see the game, not the trailers.
For all else I can wait for some 30-50% sale.
No hype for Wolverine at all after what whey showed, now I know it will be Spiderman 2 in a new skin, so thanks but not paying for that.
@Steeleye25 I finished watching and now I understand why Banshee has so great ratings. Started watching The Warrior series yesterday, same creators and even Job is there That one has awesome combat scenes. Although it lacks Rebecca’s scenes
@Rich33 GoY lost just like Spiderman 2 or Death Stranding 2, because it is a sequel, that did not change much, and only continued on its predecessor’s achievement.
I played GoT twice, and I think the story, characters and overall gameplay was better than simple revenge story in GoY.
Everyone can has own opinion.
GoY was never going to win. Even if there was no Expedition, it would still lost to KCD2.
@AhmadSumadi Not really. Many people learned the lesson with PS5 release and then long months and years of waiting for games to be released. I think when PS6 is released and it will be expensive, people will wait some months to see if there are indeed games coming soon.
@lazarus11 E33 is more like jRPG model, with some modified turn based system with counters and dodges. KCD2 is action rpg with fantastic world building and atmosphere, but crappy combat system that overcomplicates it on purpose of pretending it is realistic.
The difference here is, E33 did great job to make small revolution in its gameplay, while KCD2 did not.
@Rich33 GoY was not better than E33, neither was any revolution or big evolution from GoT, the story was worse, the gameplay similar, I would be surprised if GoY won anything.
If you look at exclusives, it is pretty weak generation. Third parties save it a little bit but not much. For next gen I am going back to PC or MS/PC. I can safely guess that PS6 generation will offer what.. Spiderman 3, Horizon 3, Ghost of 3, and some other sequels/remasters. No, sorry, I am tired with that.
@Medic_alert I like Odyssey or Valhalla due to the atmosphere and vibe. But I never finished these games.
My brain works like this, watched some Vikings or Last Kingdom and started playing Valhalla again. Loved it. But dimmer some point got tired.
Watched some 300 and started playing Odyssey again and god I would love they made some Rome based Assassin where you play some badass Roman or something.
I really hope the Hexe they work on will be something connected with witchcraft etc. Like this vibe.
I do like games when they picture something I like. Right now playing Indiana Jones game and man, for me this is GOTY because I LOVE INDIANA JONES movies. Sadly they did not think to make more of them when Ford was still young :/
@AdamNovice Well, that is something we need to wait to see. I can see that happening. Steam has bigger library. Bigger audience. Better prices. Deck is specific - it is more like a handheld, people who prefer some console plugged in to TV won’t buy it. People want easy plug and play machine and Steam is delivering that this time.
Many people who have weak PC may buy it, a stronger but still cheap machine. Whoever wants more power will buy Xbox PC. And whoever want to stay in closed console ecosystem will stay with PlayStation.
@AdamNovice Niche? 124 million users monthly? Most having weaker PCs than Steam Machine? Man. Valve has all the statistics, they know very well what they are doing with this.
@PuppetMaster
I can understand it hurts your feelings or your beloved corporate soul, but yes.
It feels too similar.
Slashing aside, combat pattern and even some animations look veeery similar. I am just tired of playing the same pattern again and again.
And just wait for the release - controls will be taken straight from SM/SM2. I bet on it.
I also said I expected the game to be more dark and adult. Let me give you simple example how I see it:
I wanted Dark Knight or Dark Knight Rises atmosphere, what they develop looks more like Batman & Robin movie.
PS. But I am not a fan of comics at all, you know.
I expected the game to be more like adult movie and less like animated series or comics.
I had some Batman comics back in a days when I was young, but apart from that I am not a fan of comics.
I get your point. But on the other hand look at Arkham series, especially Arkham Knight or Arkham City, based on comics - yes, dark and cold - also yes. For me Marvel looks like teenage version of DC
@Medic_alert For me this is simple answer, they did all great in presenting Japan, atmosphere, it is really great presentation. But I am tired of those gigantic open worlds with thousands of markers on a map, Origins, Odyssey, Valhalla..
They are too big. Who still has 200 hours to spend in one title?! Tsushima was not that small but was more condensed.
@PuppetMaster The combat in Wolverine looks like the combat in SM2, combos and attacks combinations plus QTE. I bet they will use the same control pattern and button setup. I was rather expecting something more dark, cold, brutal like the Wolverine 2013 or Logan 2017 movies, and they decided to develop a generic colorful Marvel/Spiderman world.
I don’t like it. You may like it. Everyone has own expectations.
@BecauseBecause I know. I stopped playing online shooters long ago, only tried and played some newer BFs and CODs but I did not like that. People jumping like kangaroos, camping in some places.. I found Insurgency something really fresh and.. very challenging.
There are two modes: player vs player where you get your ass kicked in seconds and the player team vs ai bots which is very challenging but here you can have some fun. Would not buy it for full price but on a good sale? Worth trying.
@AdamNovice would be good if they tried different genre. After all marvel games that most play the same, not sure about others but I am hungry for something completely different.
That is why I have zero interest in Wolverine. The colorful, open world, QTE third person action game that again looks like Spiderman on the ground.
They made Spyro, Ratchets, Resistance.. they could develop something fresh finally and stop making all their new games like a copy paste.
@BecauseBecause Insurgency is really worth trying. Due to higher difficulty and easy death with just few hits, it makes people play more tactical and cooperate. Even without headset you still feel you are a team and support each other, and progress carefully.
I tried that after Battlefields and CODs and Insurgency surely was a huge improvement in that matter. But yeah, it doesn’t have single player.
I would love if they just dropped Horizon series and went back to Killzone series. Horizon looks all nice and colorful and fancy, but the lore and characters and dialogue are so damn stupid I could not finish any of them.

True, yet this year they got two reward, while competitor came back from GOTY with empty hands.

Skyrim is awesome.

What is the value of such poll in a obviously biased environment..?
Seriously, Ghost of Yōtei.. which is basically A Tsushima with some small changes? A DS2 which is basically a lazy sequel?
This poll results are same value like asking on Xbox forum what is better Forza or GT.. and you know a result just before it starts
