Playing on pro and couldnt agree more. Bizarre quests. Controls are terrible. Visually can look great but loads of issues (flickering/pop in etc). Combat is dreadful, like worse than ac Valhalla. Camera is weird in combat. Just a very bizarre experience so far.

Performance mode on base is certainly a choice. There is awful screen tearing on pro

I did not spend £700 on a console to play PS1 looking games.

@Snowrunner Even at its peak Pushsquare barely covered vr2 games for review.

About a week after push square wrote an article saying it was doing alright.

Don’t forget this very website failed to review many of the great games released for the headset. Even early on in its life.

The other items. Literally no need to craft a single thing and you can still get it done. No challenge.

One of the worst sequels I’ve ever played. I loved the first game, this trivialised everything. No journey felt arduous. No real challenge or a need to craft and one of the worst/stupidest stories of all time. Kojima can’t keep it together and has to go so over the top. Rubbish.

Kojima a great storyteller? Hahahahah! The story in DS2 is an absolute disaster. He can’t resist adding stupid nonsense and has zero self
Control.

DS2 open world was dull. Many quests from the first game repeated. No reward in completing multiple deliveries. The struggle that made the first game great is almost absent. You can literally take on most missions without crafting a thing and still get it done.

So good that I’m on a second playthrough.

I found both Yotei and DS2 to be nowhere near as good as Tsushima and DS1

Despite work on the first game post launch it still looks awful btw. And this is on ps5 pro.

That demo was rough.

This game was a total mess on series x so I’ll be keen to see what they’ve done to fix it. Awful low res textures. Screen tearing. Unplayable.

Steep price? The base models have never been priced steeply. Especially when compared with the last gen tech of the switch 2. PlayStation has the best exclusives and the only next gen controllers and was priced competitively from day one. The ps5 pro (which I bought) is a whole other story.

This game is considerably better than Pushsquare will have you believe.

It’s more than solid. It’s one of the best games for psvr2.
