This is one step closer to eliminating the second hand market or physical side of games which is what the companies have wanted for years. More than likely the last gen to have a disc unless the disc version massively outsells the non disc version. Time will tell

I reckon it will be a decent game but maybe a little bare bones/empty. The good and bad of this is an update will probably come at a later date to flesh out bits and make it better imo.

@80sGamer. Same. I couldn’t really get into them. I used to love Tenchu back in the day and always wished for them to remake it in a open world...This looks close enough for me can’t wait.

Just watching this has brought back so many memories....I’d forgot all about that part of the story. Makes me want to download it again

Some models seem dodgy in my experience. I’ve got a few PS4’s in my home various models and they’ve all been great apart from the first ps pro I owned which I bought when they first came out. That thing had lousy WiFi connection was noisy as hell and just not that great considering it was supposed to be better/faster than standard PS4 I traded it in last year for the newer PS4 pro model and it’s superb best model I’ve owned....fallout 76/fortnite etc never hardly disconnect anymore. It’s much better in the fan department and I only have issues in the UI if I’m doing a lot in it. Ie playing a game while downloading multiple things and in ps plus.

It’s defo your system mate I have a pro and other than fan noise sometimes I can’t fault it. It’s seems so much faster than the UI on one of my sons Xbox’s my other kids have PS4’s also and have no issues.

I think your missing life. Ellie was living for the first time in a long time, happy, maybe found love etc etc. When all that gets taken away from you and your just surviving...surviving isn’t living. @Exlee300p my point is. One thing current events and history have taught us is we are more than capable of being like this. Most of life is nowhere near as bad as it is depicted in TLOU2 yet we have the capacity to do heinous things at will and we do. If life truly did become this cheap god help us all.

What did you ever think the game was going to be like?
It’s a sequel to a very violent game it was never gonna be very different was it? Only expanded upon.

In fairness Microsoft need BC to work more than Sony.

I’m personally confident Sony will release enough great exclusives for ps5 to make it a hit. That optimism does not extend to Xbox for me. I skipped this Xbox generation as theres nothing I personally think want to play.

Like many have said before me I don’t buy a new console to play old games on it. It’s a bonus if it does but not a deal break if it doesn’t. I’m in it for the new experiences. I can’t remember the last time I was really interested in Xbox stuff to be fair...maybe Perfect Dark on 360. All my memorable stuff over the last decade or so has defo been on PlayStation.

Street fighter 2 turbo on Super Nintendo was £59.99 at launch...always remember because only game my dad ever bought me. He bought it second hand for around £15 and it still had price label on the box from Our Price. 🤣 like nearly 20 years ago

@wiiware couldn’t disagree more Div 2 is poo...if I want bullet sponge mechanics I’ll play Destiny 2...it’s better in every department. I’ve enjoyed ghost recon Breakpoint even more so since immersive update. AnotherTerminator event needs to come back or even a Predator event similar to Wildands. Personally I thought Wildlands was cack...Breakpoints better on just about every level to me. It still needs a lot of work but immersive mode feels more like the Ghost Recons of old.

That it is. Looking forward to what’s in store this next Gen. After playing RE3 remake yesterday on PS4 and seeing how amazing that game looked. I can’t wait to see and hear how great these PS5 games are going to feel to play. And yes I shat myself when Nemesis finally attacked me in the demo and I’m not ashamed to admit it. He’s so much faster than mr hat man in res 2 remake.

Agreed. In the original I’ve I really used we’re odin for the instant kill then knight of the round once unlocked. Rest weren’t all that.

It’s still pretty sh*tty they are cashing in on this though.

Only time will tell if it’s worth but you have to understand the work and time that’s gone into this game. How many years has part 1 been in development now? Imagine if they did put the whole Original game together before release. His long would it take and more importantly for any business. At what cost? How many businesses could sustain that level of development without any return for best part of a decade. Do you people realise what your demanding? That’s why why many games company’s fold...From a business perspective that’s a crap idea. Spend forever developing a game that does nowhere near as well as the original or release it in manageable size chunks and test the market first. As big as square Enix this is serious taxing on the company and would be on any company. This has to be a sustainable business model first and foremost. It’s my favourite game of all time and it’s going to drive me mad waiting for all episodes but I understand why they are doing it. This is not going to be a small game by any means.

I’d guess Square will sell it as well separately sometime after launch. As sure as my bottom points downward, people will pay for materia if they like the game.

@GodGamer unsure about cyberpunk that will prolly be a port... extremely confident ghost and ff7 remake will be built for PS5. They aren’t making them games to sell specifically for the PS4. These are game of the year titles and big console sellers. Cyberpunk obviously is too but it’s not there baby so they’ll get what there given to some extent with that IMO

One of my fave games of all time. Can’t wait for the remake. 6 7 and 8 all had slightly darker more adult stories then they went back to squeaky childish crap for pretty much all that’s followed... 6 and 7 were the best for me. 8 wasn’t to bad... the draw system was utter dog muck though and super annoying imo.

I used to love PES deluxe on the SNES so I’ll give it a go 😂
