I just binged the whole thing and it appealed to me perfectly. I love the goofy human stuff in the Sonic movies, so having a 6 episode series focused on the wacky adventures of Knuckles and Wade bowling and stuff was great. Kid Cudi was funny. The only part that didn't land was Wendy, she got better but was so obnoxious.

On a scale from 1 to Warrior, I'd give it a 3

Completely ignoring politics: this just doesn’t seem like a fun mechanic for a city builder. I want to build the most extravagant power hungry neon cities imaginable dammit!

Disney is taking huge gambles with stuff like this. They only have about 11 billion dollars cash, which will be down to 8-9 billion after they finish their deal with Hulu. I hope they go bankrupt

@milonorth You should still play 4 with the villain spoiled! There are a couple even more important twists after that. I was spoiled on the killer too and Persona 4 still ended up becoming my favorite game of all time.

@TheCollector316 I know you're being sarcastic, but Reddit usually gives way more accurate information than typical articles. Articles have to be somewhat respectful and vanilla, and also can't extensively cover leaks. On Reddit, it's just random people. If something is bad, you'll know immediately, and vice versa.

I have the majority of the plot spoiled for me, but I've forgotten a lot of it and I also don't really have the context for everything. I've tried to play P3P several times but could never get into it the way Persona 4 immediately grips me and doesn't let go for 70+ hours. I'm hoping this remake will finally let me experience it!

@AverageGamer The Black Cauldron is an awesome movie IMO it just wasn't the right time for it and not making it a musical was a odd choice

It's not the worst idea, but this is the wrong time. Disney's current downfall is because of a lot of bad decisions, but among them is their attempts to do things outside the scope of the company. They're making very little money off of Disney Plus, yet they invest billions into it and actively work to tear apart the guest experience at their theme parks (their actual biggest moneymaker.) Not to mention stuff like the weird company owned planned living community they're building.

I've already had most of the game spoiled for me after going on a Persona deep dive at age 14, but it's been long enough that I forget all but the most major thing (door-kun). This looks like a masterpiece

I recently tried remote play sitting in a hotel room, on wifi, connected to my PS5 which was about 3 hours away and using ethernet. I was shocked to find that Persona 5 Royal worked pretty much seamlessly, as did Lumines and the Killzone campaign. Even weirder considering I was on hotel wifi. I tried it in my room back home, just a set of stairs away from the PS5, and it was so snappy and responsive that it felt like playing a Switch and not streaming. But of course, the touch controls on the app are garbage. Maybe it's just the ethernet setup but this tech works wonders for me and yes, I think I may be in the very small niche who actually will use this all the time

@Nintendo4Sonic I think the future for open zone is Sonic Adventure 3, with the open zone as an evolution of the SA1 hub worlds. All the bosses will take place there, as well as getting upgrades for Sonic like the Adventure games, and mini games, side quests, character interactions, and collectibles. Then instead of the Cyberspace, they can have the semi-non linear SA1 style stages serving the same purpose as Cyberspace, but actually fun

@thiagoauler I hate this statement and how often it gets tossed around. Sonic Adventure 1 and 2, Sonic Unleashed, Colors (? Kinda, it’s mostly 2D.). Heroes is divisive, but although it has a lot of flaws it’s pretty fun overall. Not every 3D Sonic was bad. Sure you have the 06’s and Force’s, but really it’s more like 50/50 on if a 3D Sonic is good or not.

@dschons Wow, he’s still being annoying? He blocked me a long time ago after I pointed out how irritating it is that he just repeats the same things over and over on articles he doesn’t care about. I can’t read his comments now so… mission accomplished? I can only imagine he was going in about how Astro’s Playroom is an evil video game for containing references to God of War and other franchises containing violence. Or saying that he would play it if it had muscular boxers in it. Or maybe complaining that there’s no physical release, to play on his massive collection of official hardware.

Walter White, Jotaro Kujo (with all the other Jojo’s as costumes), and everyone @RoyalBlues mentioned. The fans would go insane, and I honestly wouldn’t put it past them to put those characters in it.

@Gloamin ONG, especially since Microsoft is buying up COD. Killzone has easily the coolest story and lore out of any FPS, and the gameplay is incredibly satisfying. If they recreated that gameplay and story as a new exclusive PS5 game and gave it a proper budget and marketing, I bet it would be a huge success. The interplanetary futuristic war story by itself is enough of a reason to play it instead of just another WWII game. And the graphics in these games have always been amazing showcases of their consoles.

That sucks. Mercenaries is my vote for third best Vita game, after Persona 4 and Lumines Electronic Symphony

I still watch Jojo on the Vita app. If you install the ITLS-enso plugin you can open the app. Then before watching anything, go into settings and press the Terms of Service button, wait for it to load, then exit and watch whatever you want. If you don’t do that step, it will give you a video player error and not play the episode. I don’t know why loading the TOS fixes it, but it does!

@RogerRoger I loved it too! It was definitely more lighthearted than Clone Wars, Rebels and Bad Batch, but that’s not a complaint. I thought that focusing on a small group of civilians and how their lives were affected by the bigger events in the sequels was actually really interesting. You don’t get to see what life is like for an ordinary person in the world of Star Wars very often. I just wish it had another season or two, like you said. People trash it for being a “baby show”, but really it just has a different tone and focus from the other shows, when I think people expected something more like Clone Wars. Also, the cel-shaded animation was AMAZING. It’s funny that they animated it that way to save money, I think I prefer it to Rebels animation.

I don’t know anything about Issac but I’m just here to say I despise card-based video games from the bottom of my heart. Real cards are fun but in a game it usually just adds a ridiculous amount of RNG and complexity to a game.

I just want a good Jurassic Park game. Maybe a survival horror-esque game where you have to either kill or run from a bunch of unique dinosaurs, while the park/island/whatever setting descends into chaos. Perhaps there could be a Mr. X/Nemesis dinosaur that charges through walls and hunts you when you least expect it. I can picture this game perfectly in my head, it would be the coolest game ever. And make it a PS5 exclusive or at least next-gen exclusive and use the full power of the console. Realistic rain, massive, detailed dinosaurs. Somebody, please make this game

Edit: I just looked up Dino Crisis and uh, I think that’s the game I just described.

All I care is that if the Silent Hills revival is legit, it’s not Xbox exclusive. That’s too big of a deal for the industry for it to be exclusive.

This is a pretty great list. I’m glad they added the Nathan Drake collection, I was about to buy it but now I don’t have to. My only complaint is that there are no Sega games, which means I can no longer play Sonic Adventure, Adventure 2, Unleashed, and Generations. I hope they do slight remasters (plus the fabled Adventure remake) so I can play these games again, especially natively instead of streaming.
EDIT: Also the PS1 and PSP list is garbage. All the other games make up for it but I wish they’d launched with only the first two tiers and added Premium later on, once they got more companies to sign on to put their PS1 and PSP games on the service.
