Exoprimal Shows Off Massive Dino-Hordes in New Gameplay Trailer

C'mon Capcom, you know this isn't the "Dinosaur" game we are looking forward to.

Pretty sure this is one of two things.

1. The multiplayer mode of the Dino Crisis reboot or Remake we've all been wanting.

2. A middle finger to the Dino Crisis fans or Capcom so completely out of touch that they do this to pander to the Fortnite crowd that doesn't care about them.

This looks like dumb fun, I’m interested so far.

I just want a good Jurassic Park game. Maybe a survival horror-esque game where you have to either kill or run from a bunch of unique dinosaurs, while the park/island/whatever setting descends into chaos. Perhaps there could be a Mr. X/Nemesis dinosaur that charges through walls and hunts you when you least expect it. I can picture this game perfectly in my head, it would be the coolest game ever. And make it a PS5 exclusive or at least next-gen exclusive and use the full power of the console. Realistic rain, massive, detailed dinosaurs. Somebody, please make this game

Edit: I just looked up Dino Crisis and uh, I think that’s the game I just described.

@Goat_FromBOTW Instinction is set to release this fall. It's said to be a Dino Crisis spiritual successor. Looks promising.

Not into squad shooters but looks decent enough although the framerate noticably dipped when all the raptors spawned. Hopefully thatl be ironed out

This and another game they showed looked vary dated though me. Kinda like the beginning of the PS4 gen.

I'm tired of these paper mache feeling Japanese games where you fight hordes and hordes of enemies.
"Look you're a samurai and slaughtering hordes of enemies! Isn't that COOL!?"
This here is that, but with mechs and dinosaurs...

I'd have much more satisfaction with a heavier game where you kill a single dino with a well placed shot instead of this button mashfest

What's not to like (apart from it not being Dinocrisis)? Its Earth Defense Force with dinosaurs!! It's been done to death but it's tried and tested fun for all the family 😁

With the exception of RE3 remake Capcom have been on a roll for the last few years. If this is the game they wanted to make then I'm looking forward to giving it a go. Although I'm really not the co-op shooter demographic.

Capcom have been aware for years and admitted it publicly that fans want some franchises revived like DC and BoF. They are taking their sweet time doing it. Until then I'll give this a try.

@KidBoruto I loved the second game. Here's what they need to do if they reboot Dino Crisis...

• Keep the suspense of the first.
• Keep the action of the second.
• Keep it third person
• Keep puzzles and exploration
• Use the same engine and perspective as RE2/3 Remake.
• Keep Regina
• Expand the game; possibly combine the first 2 games into one.
• Allow both offline and online co-op.
• Have a multiplayer arena mode.

There's more, but that's a good starting point. The problem is that modern Capcom won't do it.
