I had no problem with simply giving up Hollywood going on over a decade now. I'm so done with the manipulation and particularly the contempt from the gaming industry too the way this is going.
I was hoping this would be a hobby to share with my kids when they're slightly older but now it's apparent that would be a mistake.

That last statement rings true. I think the biggest pushback is due to the fact that the camp of toxic positivity is very manufactured and disingenuous about what they present us, ultimately either resorting to gas-lighting or ad hominem attacks when they get called-out.
If they were forthcoming about their product (or intentions) they still may be ridiculed and lose sales but at least ongoing jaded, resentment would be less prominent

Somehow a major area of contention was overlooked, as many complaints are also about the BlackRock-approved scripts and/or story elements that have to be shoehorned into practically every 1st party Sony game

They never self-reflect to consider maybe their own BlackRock sponored toxicity is what destroyed their product.

It certainly looks vivid and brilliant but hard to take a dramatic story seriously with donald duck and goofy running around

Capactors will be the next RAM. They want to move people to cloud computing eventually so PC prices will continue to soar so the loss of physical console ganes will be the least of it. We wont even be able to own our own files

The prices for everything are stupid while everything but the value of paychecks is inflated. I have a 2tb series X PS Pro, Ally X, Switch and a PC with a 4090 but the content is getting lousy, the hardware improvements are getting negligible.

I had an odd occurance where I spotted a random basketball game at the top of my collection about 2 months ago. I dont play sports games so i wouldnt even browse it in the first place.
I check my email and the purchase was made around an hour or so after I went to sleep. I didnt get any notifications about account sign-ins but was able to get a prompt refund at least so not sure what to make of it. It did make me paranoid for a bit with all the hacking news

@Slayer25c or it could be that some of us are sick of constant inundation for something entirely not organic and that nobody ever asked for regardless of whether its in media, entertainment, education, hobbies, their careers, their worship, et al.

It's pretty apparent Sony is trying hard to appease someone other than the customers who helped get them where they are

It's embarrassing to see Sony's head up their rectum with this stuff but go all-in on titles destined to be spectacular failures at the behest of investors and activists who not only hate games, but also Sony's core audience.

It's crazy the RE4 is there and especially RE2 in the EU ch as it's given its age

I wasn't as bothered by the crashes in Xbox but that game just lacked personality and was absolutely boring to play. I thought space and other worlds would be easier for them but that game was sleep-inducing. Fallout and Skyrim captured that feeling of exploration back from being a kid wondering the woods, train tracks, and abandoned buildings and Starfield came nowhere close

@carrey23 or he could be marching in lockstep since there are multiple others having the same problem with artistic direction, and its the same sort of people that got outraged about Stellar Blade and the rest. It's coordinated

@wildcat_kickz actually its usually just the side missions that are goofy with occasional silliness injected into the actual plots (although 7 does it a bit more)
Most of the stories delve into political or criminal conspiracies. In my opinion Y0 and 7 have the better stories

I couldn't get into on PC, Xbox but the incentive is there to buy it for PlayStation. The price is kind of ridiculous though and I think renaming could have been a smarter move as people will probably get turned off when they read a title that sounds like it's 2 years old

Could've played CoD on GamePass but lost all interest in the franchise for multiple reasons- busted achievements, activist crap, stale formula, decline in writing, etc.
The last few before MS made the purchase were total duds. If they can't get me to play for "free", good luck convincing me to pay for it

It does look off as others said. Part of it is the palette but I think it's just the motion of the character, the acrobatics, etc. i really enjoyed Dead Cells and adore SotN but this feels like the generic Mirrors of Fate game

Better than last month for sure. I just hate when I buy a game I had yet to play (LotF) and then it gets offered free.
I wish they let us pick 3 out of a select updated each month

I really hope it gets fixed. I was very excited for this game since the old trailers. While expected it to be a bit sharper, it's still a very pretty game but those controls were something else.
I only played the into up until the main starts off again by the river but for a game that's supposed to be so comprehensive, I found it odd that they don't even really explain much of the most basic control elements

What's the point in rebranding a name that's already established? Microsoft does this stuff all the time and unless you're savvy or familiar with the product or service in question, it just adds to confusion to most consumers.

I wanted the pearl one and now the green because it would match the living room but of course, no love for the Pro.
