As with other glitzy awards ceremonies, The Game Awards always invites some special guests to get on stage and fuel some excitement. This year's show will be no different, and Geoff Keighley has begun highlighting some of the people who will help hand out awards.
One such celebrity is Tom Holland, who's now confirmed to be presenting during the live stream:
Of course, Holland is set to star in next year's Uncharted movie as a youthful Nathan Drake, opposite Mark Wahlberg's Victor Sullivan. The actor's presence at The Game Awards makes sense given the upcoming adaptation, but we all know Keighley loves an exclusive reveal. Could Holland be bringing along the debut Uncharted movie trailer? It seems highly likely to us.
Fortunately, we don't have to wait too long to find out. The Game Awards is set to take place in just over a week. Do you think we'll get our first look at the Uncharted movie during the show? Make a note in your journal in the comments section below.

Personally I would have preferred a slightly older Nathan Drake, but I honestly think Tom Holland looks good in those pics. I hope my initial disappointment was wrong.
@Robinsad yeah, when they say Tom Holland I inmediately pictured Nathan from Uncharted 3 at the museum. But it looks like it'll be a good one
@Robinsad I'm quite confident that Holland can pull off the cockiness of Nathan Drake. But I'm not so confident in Mark Whalberg as Sully. Really struggling to picture him playing that part well at all. Fingers crossed for something good though, easily one of my favourite franchises in gaming.
Hope its good. I loved the short starring Nathan Fillion and Stephen Lang. Both suited their represented characters extremely well.
New uncharted game trailer?
@wiiware We can all dream right? I really hope this film does well, which then hopefully means more to come.
I enjoyed the Tomb Raider reboot film, I thought they did well to make it familiar to the newer games yet with enough of its own character. Fingers crossed they do the same with this, I'd rather they don't just play it safe and copy a storyline from one of the games.
Uncharted 5 would make perfect sense for ps5
Looking forward to a trailer, for me uncharted is a amazing franchise & it will be interesting to see how that transfers to a movie. Modern day Indiana Jones? Also the watch dogs Legion ps5 upgrade has worked for me. Just delete the game off the ps5, then install the game again & then you’ll see free ps5 upgrade pop up. Hope that helps everyone.
@HMazzy111 The tomb raider film (the original and reboot) is okay, I hope this movie does well. I'm interested when they gonna release it though since we are still in the middle of pandemic.
Cue Uncharted trailer and plenty of promotion. Uncharted 1-4 remaster would be good also you never know.
I just don't buy Holland as Nathan Drake. I would have preferred someone who looked more like the actual Nathan Drake character that has been around since 2007.
Movie trailer seems like a lock. Looking forward to it!
Lot of history to get through in the movie, whole of Drake's life but still having to be an adventurous treasure hunter. Not sure you can capture all of that in a 2hour movie but holding thumbs it does the game proud
Too soon for a trailer maybe? Didn't they only finish filming a couple of months back? Would imagine it needs a lot of post production work done
@Alfieburns Nah, a lot of times - most if it’s a blockbuster - trailers are cut while principal photography’s still ongoing. See the recent The Batman trailer as an example. That came out with only a third of filming done.
@HUMPERDOO ah fair enough. Although this is a movie that took 10 years to even get to filming so who knows if they can manage a trailer this quickly!
I really think Mark was a bad casting choice as Sully... I think he will make the character more arrogant without the charm that makes him great.
But we will see!
Since these ridiculous tiers are still in place and are probably not going away soon, they might as well give this movie to ps+ users.
Highly doubt we'll see this in UK theatres till 2021 holiday
I'm hoping to see Uncharted movie trailer and a sneak peek at the next Uncharted game!
