@Project13 I know right, maybe they couldn't get the correct producer/composer on board with it, my personal nostalgic favourite is the Nina Williams track but when the Yoshimitsu's song plays it gets you proper locked in that's for sure doesn't it.

@Project13 Yeah man same. If they did i would buy it but the music tracks are what keeps me going back an playing it, i reckon the music wouldn't be the same though due to better technology and the old copyright problems.

I have purchased it but never played it due to not having the time and the mindset to get into a game like that which is because of work and what not but there is always an itch and an urge.

Since there is Fast Fusion on the Nintendo Switch 2 and with the industry in shambles they should just do a nice and easy cheap game to save money which is something like Kinetica as mentioned.

@Jtheripper The problem is someone wants their return on investments unfortunately.

At this point call of duty should be cancelled but I suppose those games have addictive/infinite amounts of playability filled with micro-transactions so that is more important to them.

You can tell they think like that by seeing the ones they have added and promoted coming to gamepass recently, you know the ones with loot boxes.

@Perturbator Agreed, I was just going with what the internet click/crowd is having a field day with but yeah, there sure is trash out there especially on Steam.

If it doesn't use things like pssr/fsr/dlss and what not along with it being a well polished game at native 4k/60 I'll respect the price, the time & effort along with the professionalism.

Compared to Nintendo's game's that are realistically high end graphical PS3 games or mobile game's upscaled to 4k with DLSS I'll always be contemplating spending that much on a game these days because it's sleezy or cheap and games are never 80% bug free so a high majority of publisher's can get lost asking that price 😂

Not many really got my interest but out of them all, Super Meat Boy 3D got my interest, I'm a old school type of gamer so it's right up my alley but I'm getting old for something like that now 😂

@emj2010 They change it up every other month that makes it harder to collect them. They nerf the system more often than they do updating the user interface with new features.

@IOI Yeah agreed, it ruins the mental investment and the character build-up for me when they do this, especially if you know who the actor is.

It's like when you enjoy a cartoon at a young age to than find out who the voice actor is, it breaks the 4th dimensional wall of imagination, after that, it doesn't seem right.

But on that note, yes more gameplay less cinematics.

Final Fantasy needs to be put into a basement & a safe for a good few years and they should branch out from the Japanese anime looking type of characters because the average gamer that just plays FIFA, COD & GTA wont ever touch that *hit.

There is no excuses in some cases but there is a new disc type called Very Big Disc™, the disc can have a capacity of up to 200tb but if that tech/disc can be reduced to something like 250gb I bet these developers/publisher's still wouldn't use that if it became the standard.

Edit: PC Gamer didn't article on it a year back if anyone wants to look into it.

I'll be playing, touching grass and absorbing pollen for a few hours but after that Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty it is.

@Dan12836666 With the gaming industry's financial structures in shambles these days some companies need something to catch people's attention, which is a easy/cheap nostalgic remastering one and when a game like GTA 6 comes out for example that's where the money is going so there will be more of them unfortunately because these publishers/developers, especially the money hungry pig companies like EA & Activision are not going to be wasting big amounts of money.

So expect upcoming short and linear games like Mafia: The Old Country, here on out and for a few years.

Just by looking at the trailer, it's a bonnie & Clyde action love/drama story, due to one of the actions a player may make, one of the characters can end up going on a bad path that will lead to a death or you could save the day by choosing the alternative option and they will live a romantic ever after but I could be wrong.

To be honest, I am not bothered really, because its just GTA at the end of day but if anything im itching for a new Red Dead Redemption game, I would be slightly disappointed if it was the case with that game but life, work and family is more important.

Longer the better so I can upgrade my PC which isn't investing in the current garbage fiasco products (50 series) but I'll probably double dip 🙃

@Kidfunkadelic83 Agreed and with some talented folk working for them which is porting games on the Switch 2 and maybe even some games on the original they will be balling even more.

It definitely is a smart move but I won't be buying an Xbox in the future now though that's sure.
