Interesting, might give it a try since I have one of the originals I think that I have never tried but I'm not really into these floaty/jumpy type of FPS game's these days.

The ball will be in Nintendo fans court when they don't understand what DLSS upscaling and frame generation is for example but when that is taken out of the equation, which doesn't justify $90 price tags, it will still be a PS4 specd device underneath it all.

Typical, the richer get richer and the poor get poorer because they have to take the brunt from the those at the top fulfilling their greedy piggy desires, investments & stocks.

The setting/theme seems cool but seeing the kinda slow gameplay as the trailer possibly perceives it as along with seeing a halo looking, grenade throwing animation I don't think I could be dealing with that type of floaty gameplay these days.

I have heard plenty of the games on netflix are mobile tier type game's that are just "play, throw away, on to the next" type of products and with the way Roblox's system works with endless amounts of custom made garbage modes I can imagine netflix will do well in that regard because my nephew plays roblox, most of it looks like *hit but he never gets bored.

On that note, some of us used to be in the same boat with old school flash/java games, those were kinda alright but once GTA 6 comes out the constant requesting & demanding from kids to play it (even though they shouldn't be) will be insane so consoles aren't going anywhere, anytime soon

I think it will be delayed into 2026, I'm guessing February.

Edit: and in that time frame, maybe spring next year will set the tone for it haha.

Nothing will change because the virus is deeply embedded into the industry. The virus started when investors and publisher's became a thing in the industry in the 80s.

Yes games are expensive to make now but it is what it is and there is only so many games now that are not looked down on by money hungry vultures with political minds so on that note I only trust a company or a developer now with good ethics & that's primarily small indie studios.

@KillerBoy Agreed and here in the west, the products, "the machines" are designed & developed to make more money after the initial purchase and that's all that matters to those in suits.

With they way Hasbro/wotc has being treating magic the gathering recently I can imagine it will go down the live service rabbit hole it, hopefully not though.

@AgentMantis They have another one in the pipeline coming out this year from the same developer so maybe some of the money went into that project.

I think black ops 6 was a throw away game but this upcoming game will try and compete for mind share and player retention when a game like GTA 6 gets released because I've noticed the best Call of Duty products come out when another big player like rockstar releases a big game.

But I won't be buying it that's for sure, especially with all of this Ai slop 😂

@Jamesblob If I was Google/Apple I wouldn't let their dung on the store either because a high majority of customers will be locked into that system and not playing anything else which hurts the industry as a whole for other people's investments or opportunities when hoping to gain an audience after creating a new application or game.

700 million!, they definitely reduced the budget when making black ops 6 then because there is plenty of features that are missing compared to let's say cold war or black ops 3 like for example more statistics, leaderboard tabs and so on.

The picture looks like the army camp in the beginning part of vice city stories.

Laid back & having a good time with the joystick whilst the PS5 is running quietly would be very pleasant and pleasurable but not long lasting after playing Superscout.

Just a 1080p oled screen with a good HDR implementation along with graphics set at medium plus 60fps would be great.

Yeah i think its great so far but the campaign mission with the zombies and what not felt stupid or unnecessary and currently that's how far i am playing it.

Its baffling that they don't try to absorb some of the mobile market by developing/publishing lower tier games that don't have high end graphics but a good amount of money is put into it that leads to good creativity and designs instead of pumping hundreds of millions in to lets say concord, Nintendo do good in that regard.

I would happily take games today (like Sly Cooper for example) that have the graphics quality of the ps2 hardware that would make them look better then most mobile games.

So on that note, games with photo realistic graphics don't appreciate and age well (basically living another life after work) compared to a game that you can just turn and hop on like Pac-Man & Tetris and have fun.
