Just got Blasphemous 1 & 2 for less than £18, plus I had a £20 voucher which was nice.

I had an issue with my ps4 hard drive, so I lost it. It was always a pity you couldn’t re-download it. I guess “technically” it wasn’t a purchase (can’t remember if you got a zero value order confirmation). It had a lot of character. I just finished Exit 8 which only has the tiniest resemblance (still interesting though)

Loved CrossCode, just really clicked with me. That soundtrack too! I heard tracks from it on Spotify on a daily basis. I really want to find the time to replay it. Look forward to see this new game

Just had my daily dose of Arizona Sunshine 2 and finally got the gunslinger trophy to pop (20 headshots in a row), so I’m a happy camper. Also playing through Grimrock 2 on PC, but I really want to play Exit 8 this afternoon. Have a great weekend folks!

I bought my first PC to play Doom. £1600 for a 486-33SX in 1995(?), it set me down the path to PC building. Still so good! I love 2016, but OG Doom will probably always be my favourite ever game.

I don’t even look at the games listings anymore, I just look at my wishlist. Things like pages and pages of entries for dlc for a single game are ridiculous, there should be a hierarchy

A run of Super Stardust HD is about an hour, and I keep coming back to it trying to crack the monthly top 10 for the last 10 years (I think my best is 83rd). I’m up for this

This game got me into Souls games. I flaked on the original Demons Souls, but Bloodborne won me back. Such an awesomely bizarre world, with extreme weirdness around every corner. Miyazaki will get in trouble? What the hell? It’s like they don’t want the money! Is NoClip still around? We need Danny to do a deep dive into why there was no sequel, let alone a remaster. Got to be some weird rights issue or internal politics, or maybe Sony just doesn’t like money. Makes me so maaaad!😂

@PuppetMaster , it sounds like your PS4 can’t read the hard drive, it’s worth taking it out, checking the model and make sure it’s compatible with the PS4 (I think they can only handle 5400RPM drives, so if it’s 7200RPM you might have an issue). Just taking it out and re-installing it might fix it, but it’s a long shot. If the drive is incompatible, you could always get an external drive case and use it as external storage, but you’ll need a compatible internal drive (just google “PS4 compatible drive”, you can probably still get them from Amazon).

With your PS3, if you have any disks that work, it’s probably a scratched/dirty disk, if none of your disks work, it’s probably the DVD drive. You can replace them, but it’s a pain.

I tried to get into Undernauts but just couldn’t so, I’ve booted up my old game rig (first time in almost a year) to play Grimrock, the wifi dongle almost caught fire (it was seriously hot!) trying to update about a petabyte of games. I’m still pathologically addicted to Arizona Sunshine 2 so I’ve played a bit of that and GT7. I had a quick look at upgrading the PC, but I don’t fancy dropping £4K, so I think I’ll stick with the plan of getting a Pro! Have a great weekend folks!

I think this list needs Arizona Sunshine 2, so fun. I’ve finished it on all difficulty level, and I’m still regularly going back to play horde mode. That never happens to me. The gunplay is just so good

@WaveBoy , yeah, I agree it can be tight over the nose. I might try some self modding 😄 maybe some foam rubber to create a bit of a gap. It could do with a built in fan for the hot weather too!

I got one about a month ago. I’d never tried VR and just wanted to see what it was like. Just putting the headset on and mapping the room was such a freaky experience! It’s great seeing when your hands are going out of the play area, so you don’t punch a wall. I’ve played a couple of hours of GT7 and Arizona Sunshine each day since then. I exclusively use seated mod, in a tiny office (like 2M x 3M) and tethered isn’t a huge issue, I’ve ended up with the cable wrapped around the chair like, twice (GT7 doesn’t use Sense) The sweet spot can be a bit fiddly, but hasn’t spoilt my enjoyment. If you get one, one tip, don’t tighten the headband too much. It should rest on your head like a hat, not like a vice crushing your skull (took a while to work that out). The sense controllers are phenominal, so precise. Hey, just my experience, but I’m loving it and I haven’t even got to an RE game yet. I hope it gets supported going forward, I’d be happy with just GT7 and AS2

If the price drop means more people are buying, there’s a better chance of more games. Maybe even a first party game! I can dream can’t I

For me, it’s not so much the difficulty of combat, it’s the exploring the worlds and the lore. Bloodborne got me hooked and I’ve gone back and played pretty much everything

I just got one for £480 (like a month ago), so of cause it’s come down to £360, that’s just the way the universe like to kick me in the danglies. Seriously, I’m loving it, at least a couple of hours a day on Arizona Sunshine 2 and GT7. I need to squeeze in a bit of NMS too

I usually take a couple of weeks off, and try to save a game I’m really interested in for it. CrossCode a few years ago, a replay of Death stranding last year, and FF7 Rebirth this year ( loving it!)

Hmmm, looks like it briefly lost my license for FF7 Rebirth. Prompting me to buy it when I clicked on the tile (I was playing it when it went into rest mode, the installed to update). A reboot fixed it, thankfully

I’m definitely getting one for the collection.

I loved this game, definitely want to play it again, even after platinum-ing it. It felt like a car-based S.T.A.L.K.E.R. The update is really want is PSVR2, that would be incredibly useful, but I doubt we’d ever get it.

Finished Eiyuden Chronicles, it’s got its flaws, but I ended up liking it more than Octopath 2. Going to sink some more into Elden Ring until FF7 Rebirth comes tomorrow. Have a great weekend folks!

@TheAmbientWalrus, If only I could use my old Microsoft Sidewinder wheel with it! VR is fantastic even with just the gamepad. I got mine a couple of weeks ago and started a race. I was “yeah, looks fine” as it was showing the outside of the car…. Then you go into the car! I must have spent 5 minutes just looking around the cabin. I’ve crashed a couple of times just looking at buildings by the roadside. The only thing in VR I wasn’t that impressed with was wet weather effects in VR. I wanted it to be like Spa GP 1997, but the visibility is fine, needs more rooster tails

Just restarted the base game (335 hours on the last play through. Omg) as Handsome Pete from the Simpsons, he’s… an abomination. It’s been two years since I last played, but man, it’s got its hooks into me fast

@Andee as everyone else has said the servers are fine, sometimes they’re down for maintenance when an update is being added (like 2 hours in a month). I’ve been playing for two years (600 hours) and never gone into an online race or seen a micro transaction. I finished all the championships within two weeks, but there’s tonnes to do including 5 weekly updated races which gets you around 600k-1m credits. I'm grinding to get every car, and up to about 450, just avoiding the 20 million credit ones! Also, if you have psvr2 it’s amazing!

Looks gorgeous, I’d love a bit of Norse mythology in it. Not full on God of War, something a bit more subtle. Sound a bit like a Norse Suikoden

@lindos , I’m in the same situation. I think if you go straight to the dlc in NG+ as soon as you can it’s supposed to be hard. Hey, if anyone else knows better…. I’m thinking I’m going to play through the whole of NG+, the go to the dlc, so that’s me sorted for the next 6 months!

So in 10 years we’re getting a 60FPS version but we can preorder it today? £699.99? Yep, that sounds about right

Tunic on new game plus was way too easy. Depends on the game and how difficulty is implemented

Bounced off Sekiro about half way through because it felt like I had to do it the way the game decided and I had very little agency. Platinumed Bloodborne because it’s a fantastic game and I wanted to see everything. I’m sure that’s going to be the case with ER DLC

@FullMetalWesker thanks, that gives me hope😄. I’m starting from NG+, but I’d only just started it after I completed the game, so it’ll be a while before I get to the dlc.

This is because I’ve literally just bought one😂 (after the price drop). To be honest, I’d be happy just playing Gran Turismo, Arizona Sunshine 2 and Resi 4 remake and Village. I want to tak a look at Moss as well. At worst I now know I love VR and it doesn’t make me blow chunks

@themightyant Pathless was the first game I played on PS5 and I loved it. I’ll have to replay it sometime when there isn’t a mountain of backlog!
