Gee whiz have the cold winter nights arrived! It's freaking freezing in the UK this week, so we hope the temperatures are a little more positive wherever in the world you are. Let's warm up with some video games, shall we?
Aaron Bayne
We're in the final three weeks of The Finals Season 4 and that Emerald tier ranking in World Tour is feeling tantalisingly close. The grind is on!
Khayl Adam
Having finally felled Metaphor: ReFantazio, I have Stellar Blade and Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth left to catch up on as the year winds down. I'm mostly done with the former but have barely touched the latter. Many, many high-quality hours ahead before making that monumental, all-important GOTY pick!
Robert Ramsey
Deciding on my personal Game of the Year is proving to be incredibly difficult, so the plan is to revisit a few candidates, including Persona 3 Reload and Trails through Daybreak. I'm also on the cusp of finally finishing Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth, which is shaping up to be yet another competitor!
Sammy Barker
Yeah. I still didn't finish Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth.
Stephen Tailby
I have a couple of reviews in the works, so those will be getting my attention this weekend. Watch out for them soon!
That's what we're playing this weekend, then, but what about the rest of you? Which games do you hope to keep you occupied until Christmas? Let us know below.

This weekend I will continue with Half-Life Alyx. It will be an understatement to say this is the BEST gaming experience in VR. I am only on Chapter 4 and can't wait to see what happens next!
In the meantime, I will blast some baddies in Quake I Do some puzzle in Layers of Fear And bring back some memories with WarCraft II
Have a nice gaming weekend people!!!
I would be playing Baldur's Gate III (I finally made it to the Goblin camp after clearing out the rest of the first act's map) but unfortunately I've caught a rather nasty bug that has made the past few days rather miserable to be honest.
So I'll just be in bed recuperating.
Hope everyone has a great weekend!
Finishing the campaign of COD Black Ops 6 and after that I think I'm gonna give the Avatar DLC Sky Breaker a chance
Getting towards the end of Horizon remastered then I'll try frozen wilds.
For a change of pace playing the very fun Smurfs dreams
The Crew Motorfest and Dark Souls, to the point where the two have merged in my mind. I swear I just saw Ornstein and Smough crossing the road.
Undisputed, Breakpoint (started a new game), Balatro (trying to win a run on Blue chip difficulty) and I’m dying to continue Silent Hill 2 remake but need to remove children first. Also getting quite competitive with my 6yr old bowling on the Switch!
Happy gaming everyone!
Finished some great games since last week
HZD remaster - So I've finished and platinumed this awesome game again. Loved it 🤩
CoD Blops 6 - finished the campaign and enjoyed it a lot. Very nice to have a good CoD campaign after the last few really ***** ones.
And I've started Stalker 2. Im a bit torn about this game. On one hand Im enjoying it and really like this kind of game and on the other hand its really rough. Playing on the Series S isnt helping... but it isnt just the technical and buggy side of things it also feels like the game wont last me very long since the story is already lost on me and it then becomes very repetetive playing the almost same things over and over. Still, will keep playing since there are some good parts but I might not keep playing for 40ish hours to finish it on its current state.
Got myself Mario & Luigi Brothership yesterday, but still got to finish P3 Reload and Metaphor. Atlus was on fire this year.
PS5: Stellar Blade, hunting down the NieR costumes before starting my 5th NG+. Yes, it's that good!
Series X: Jumping between Hellblade and Fractured But Whole.
I was supposed to start Flight Sim 24 and Stalker 2 but with launch issues and bugs I have put them both on hold.
Switch: I picked up DQ11 on sale. I've played it before on Gamepass but considering how great that game is I just had to do another run. Also, sidequesting TotK.
Finally experiencing The Last of Us 2 Remastered for the first time. On the Pro. I know I'm in for a treat
Oh it’s the first Legacy of Kain: Blood Omen (1996) game for me. The game is just as I remember it: basically oozing evil vibes everywhere, and Kain really is a complete b*****d! I love it! True, it’s quite clearly a game from another era, but I too am a gamer from that past era … let me revel in my nostalgia haha 😃
Aside from that, I’m still playing BOPS 6 on my series S. I recently prestiged and now working my way up the levels again.
Wishing everyone a good weekend 👍
I've gotten back into Helldivers II in a big way. I'll be playing more of that.
I'm almost finished Lego Horizon so I'll put a few hours into that too, and then I'll probably go back to Stellar Blade. I'd like to get that wrapped up in the next few weeks, so I can go back to never starting Silent Hill 2...
Black Friday deals are tempting for Avatar, Star Wars Outlaws, Metaphor and Warhammer. Otherwise I'm playing Stalker 2 which is awesome and Silent Hill 2
The very 2000’s Slitterhead. I can’t stop.
Also deeply ingrained with Metaphor Refantazio and loving it.
Beyond that may get back into Prodeus before it leaves Premium and dip into Blood Omen.
Really want to buy a PS5 Pro but my Mrs says she'll divorce me and take the kids.....rushes off to buy PS5 Pro....
Otherwise playing STALKER 2 on XBX. This is a seriously hardcore survival shooter that a lot of reviews don't seem to get ( Pure Xbox) ...yes it needs work but it's so immersive!
Have a great weekend guys and gals ❤️
The Magnus brothers are back in the story and my interest in Metaphor Refantazio has shot back up - Del's ever wide-open eyes suspecting everything 😆. Plus, back on Shadow of the Erdtree, found a dismantled fire golem/wicker man at the right side of Shadow Keep(in typical hiding in plain sight ER fashion) under the deep blue evening skies. Right there, that scenery, further emphasized SotE is a force to reckon with in TGA Art Direction category.
Horizon Zero Dawn remastered on the Pro. It's pretty impressive. The sky at night is a thing of beauty.
LAD Ishin! And I dug out my old purple GameCube for some Killer7 tomorrow. Have a good weekend all!
I'll be playing much more Veilguard which just gets better and better the more you play and Alan Wake 2 which I'm also enjoying immensely. I also need to finish off Metaphor's platinum but I've lost the motivation to go back at the moment.
Horizon Forbidden West
I've just done the side quest 'In The Fog' where you help an old soldier battling dementia. This is where the game really shines over those silly generic Far Zenith baddies.
Still going through Alan Wake 2 on the Pro but the scene changing is driving me nuts in the cinema. Might have to take a break. I’ve unblocked myself on Blasphemous 2 by getting the double jump and loving it again (the first is a damn good metroidvania too), good excuse to play it on the old PS5 too
At work this weekend but will probably continue playing SMTV when I get time. I'm considering lowering the difficulty because It's quite a grindy combat-heavy game so far. I'm also eyeing up Yu-Gi-Oh! in the PSN sale, because I'm a sucker for shiny cards with cool monsters.
Happy weekend all✌️
I’m currently playing through Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection. Having never played it on PS4, I finished The Lost Legacy earlier in the week and then immediately started A Thief’s End. I did play Uncharted 4 on PS4, so this is my second playthrough, but the first time I’m playing it on PS5. Currently on chapter 17, so not long to go.
After that? You know what, I may actually go back and play 1-3 via Bluepoint’s The Nathan Drake Collection. Seeing as I missed most of the PS3 generation, this will be my first time playing the original Uncharted trilogy. Though I did beat Golden Abyss when it originally launched on Vita, which at the time, I really enjoyed.
Oh and between all that I’m also playing Ghost Trick: Phantom Detective on Switch. I almost never play the Switch in handheld mode, but Ghost Trick looks so good on the OLED, and with great touchscreen support, it’d be a crime to play this awesome little game docked. If you’ve not played this one, I highly recommend doing so. There’s a PS4 version, too.
Hollow Knight again for me this weekend. I've been taking my time and savouring the game world. The air was blue last night as I found myself in a late-game location with some utterly evil platforming gauntlets to complete. Some of it took me a while just to figure out how to even attempt it. But I conquered in the end and got to a save point... Will see what pain the game has in store for me next, lol... Have a good weekend all.
Stalker 2 on Xbox, it’s been brutal so far but I’m really enjoying it. Around 4 hrs in now
Undoubtedly Synapse. Thanks PS Plus!
On PS5 I'm still trying to finish Dragon Age Inquisition on Xbox I'm playing Stalker 2 and Black Ops 6 and I've also just started Ni No Kuni on Switch. It's snowing in Scotland today so plenty of gaming.
Mario and Luigi Brothership: A pretty fun entry in the series, with cool Bros. Attacks and an overall different aesthetic in terms of worldbuilding. I like the electricity references everywhere and there's still the series' signature charm. So far I'd put it at third (behind Bowser's Inside Story and Superstar Saga).
I will be playing the excellent diablo 3 eternal collection.addictive game.im playing as a wizard.the graphics.the gameplay.the story.the soundtrack and the boss fights is excellent.i will be playing the amazing the division gold edition.amazing gameplay.graphics.story.soundtrack.and boss fights.im playing as a black soldier.i will continue be playing the incredible one of the most underrated video game in greedfall with all the dlcs.im playing as a technical.best classes on greedfall.the gameplay.graphics.story.soundtrack.and boss fights are incredible.and i will be continued playing one of the best video games ever made in the phenomenal ni no kuni wrath of the white witch remastered.the gameplay the graphics.the story.the soundtract.the boss fights.are some of the best i ever play.my Pittsburgh Steelers 💛🖤 got the weekend off. Definitely playing S.T.A.L.K.E.R 2 on GamePass.
Neck deep into school drama, monster slaying and building bonds in Trails of Cold Steel I try to absorb all the in game history/lore, but the game sure like to tell instead of show. This is going to take a while, at least if I plan to do the whole series. 😅
Finished Chrono Trigger on my bedside retro-handheld earlier this week, still one of the best jRPGs ever made. Now it's up to Phantasy Star to make sure I keep on getting too little sleep. 😁
After enjoying the hell out of Deus Ex: Human Revolution - Directors Cut this passed week, I was left a bit deflated when the Foxiest of Hounds trophy didn’t pop. It’s the last trophy I needed and I was extremely careful… but must’ve tripped an alarm somewhere 😖.
So I need to do another playthrough on that… still need to do a second playthrough on Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2 and still farming adamantoises for traps on Final Fantasy XIII. When these plats eventually pop I reckon I’m gonna need a break 😅
Disney Dreamlight Valley the new DLC just dropped and I'm absolutely loving it the new map is waaaaaaay more interesting than the previous expansion and it's always great to see Hades ^__^
Dragon age on Pro this weekend when I get some time to.
@Rangers420
No I get your tag.
Being in Scotland, Rangers.
@OldGamer999 given up on Stalker 2 then I take it? Your view seemed to change extremely quickly from it performing beautifully to it being a mess after the Pure Xbox review came out. 🤔
I’m stuck at the moment of what to start next. I finished Veilguard a few days ago and generally enjoyed my time with it. However I don’t know what to play next, I’ve started Baldurs Gate 3 numerous times but can’t seem to stay absorbed enough. I might give it another go. In the meantime I’m playing Sims 4 for background noise really whilst I catch up on some podcasts.
Horizon: Zero Dawn Remastered For the fourth time. LOL. I love this game to bits. It puts me in a happy place. Story, gameplay and music are just awesome.
But I've bought several indies on Switch too. I'll give them a whirl.
I’m like a kid with ADHD at the moment…
Space marine 2
Lies of P
Wasteland 3
Stardew Valley
Got a few games in Sony's Black Friday sale I've been meaning to play. I'll be jumping between Aliens: Dark Descent, Bramble and Pacific Drive.
Oh, and undisputed!
I’m also considering another playthrough of BG3
Dragon age the veilguard on 5pro, nothing on the other systems 👍
Bought myself yet another Switch, so I'll mostly be playing Super Mario Bros. Wonder. On PS5 I'll be carrying on with Soul Hackers 2 and playing some co-op Palworld.
Stardew Valley/Sparkling Zero
Resistance: Fall of Man and The Wolf Among Us.
Still working my way through Xenoblade Chronicles 3. I get majorly distracted on the side quests and just exploring this beautiful world and only just feel I have started pushing the story forward, I meant to do that all last weekend but i'm only just into Chapter 5.
I gave Stalker 2 a quick go (with the Day 1 patch) but had too many bugs and it felt unpolished/unfinished. I'll come back later.
Deleted Zenless Zone Zero from my PS5, phone and tablet so now i'm down to just three timesinks. Genshin, HSR and Wuthering Waves. All good games, including ZZZ, but the opportunity cost of playing them is too much.
Was expecting a PSVR2 to be delivered today but the horrendous weather has put paid to that. 😩. I've been meaning to have another go at "From Russia With Love" on the Gamecube for a while so that might be a plan for later on.
Continuing with SlitterHead after having to restart due to the trophy tracker not tracking certain trophies. This meant I couldn’t get the trophies for anything that kept count because it would just stay on 0%.
Also Palworld and maybe Phasmaphobia!
Finished Resident Evil 3 and enjoyed it. Just started Lies of P, too early to give an opinion but I think I’ll enjoy this one more than other non-From souls games.
Just bought Loco Motive on deck. Enjoyed the demo. Classic point and click with beautiful pixel art. Might be continue silent hill 2 remake soon and rise of the golden idol on deck.
DQIII. Man, it puts most JRPGs released since the original to shame with the sense of adventure and exploration. It's brought my Veilguard playthrough to a screeching halt.
This weekend I’m playing Dragon Age: Origins for the very first time, thanks to Xbox Series X and Game Pass. Holy smokes—this game is impressive. For context, my first Dragon Age game was Inquisition, subsequently followed up ten years later with Veilguard (both games I love). I even got the platinum for Veilguard. However, now that I’m playing Origins, I can wholeheartedly understand why people consider Veilguard’s writing and characters inferior.
On PS5- Horizon: Forbidden West (on hold- reasons below)
On xCloud- Stalker 2. It’s rough, but can be a beautiful survival horror game when it works (I’d call it the Dark Souls of fps games). I love the atmosphere and it’s oppressive, unfamiliar and exploration is a blast (sometimes literally if you get hit by an anomaly). In short: everything that Fallout 4 should have been.
On Geforce Now- tried it for the first time. Works beautifully. Decided to test it by playing the first sections of Deus Ex: Human Revolution, and now I can’t stop lol.
Fallout 3
I never came close to finishing this back in the day, so after watching the TV show earlier this year, I decided to pick up a PS3 copy and put it in my backlog.
Decided to start it up a few days ago and I've been enjoying it so far. I look forward to getting to play more at some point this week.
I got a fancy 1TB Steam Deck OLED this week.
I’ve been jumping between Beyond Galaxy Land, Command and Conquer: Red Alert, Dead Space 3 and Half-Life 2.
Loving it!
Just started the frozen wilds. Some more It takes two with my oldest son. Might get a couple of games(GT7, astrobot, Spiderman 2 and Warhammer 2)with the black friday deals.
As some of you are aware, my son currently has a brain tumor and undergoing therapy to sort it out. Unfortunately he was rushed into hospital with low pressure hydrocephalus. Therefore my gaming time will be none existent this weekend. However I will enjoy reading what y'all will be playing. Happy Gaming All.
Veilguard. Everything about this game has clicked for me in great ways. The combat is awesome, the characters are endearing so far and the game is beautiful. I'm actually glad it isn't just some massive open world. Hopefully it sells well enough
@colonelkilgore you must go to bed every night dreaming of strategies to get your next Platinum trophy ha ha. Wish I had those levels of commitment! Or is it OCD lol....(kidding)
@JonnyAces sorry to hear that. Hope all goes well
@KingPev oh it’s ocd alright! 😅
@JonnyAces that is devastating to read. I'm glad you can find some solace in the thread. Big time prayers for your little man.
@JonnyAces sorry to hear about your son dude, my best wishes are with him 🙏
@colonelkilgore thought so 🤣🤣
ROCK AND STONE!
I have dipped back into Deep Rock Galactic which is amazing but I’ve also done the £10 upgrade for Horizon so maybe will start that.
I imagine this weekend it’ll be a casual mix of Flight Sim, Stalker 2, and DQ3 with some multiplayer games with the family perhaps.
I’m not sure how I feel about Stalker 2 yet, but it’s definitely hardcore. Not sure if I’ve had issues or if it’s just merciless. Don’t have any concrete thoughts about it yet.
@JonnyAces
Hope it turns out Well. Stay strong
@Blauwe_Chimay @colonelkilgore @Nyne11Tyme @KingPev thank you all. Greatly appreciated 👍
Who has time for gaming when there's so much cleaning to be done this time of year?!
Cleaning guns and magazines in Into The Radius VR, that is...
Every week I write the same thing right now. Sea of Thieves. It’s taking up nearly all my game time right now. I try to mix in the odd title, at the moment that is Alan Wake 2, which is fantastic. I can safely say Sea of Thieves will take me months to 100%.
I've been really into my PS3 recently, got the platinum on Tales of Xillia last week and I'm currently playing DW Gundam 2.
I'm having a dragons dogma 2 weekend and I also bought the castlevania dlc for vampire survivors which is just stupidly addictive. I think I'm going to probably purchase the castlevania collections at some point. Have a great weekend everybody 👍
@JonnyAces my thoughts are with you and your family. Best wishes.
GT7 lobbies, run what ya brung! Tonight Matthew im going to be… up to no good 😊
Today I just finished my 1st playthrough for RE4 Remake with Hardcore difficulty, got ranked B, and 22+ hours (over a week) playtime which is 8 hours longer compare to my 1st playthrough for the original game.
I love the original game but I think Capcom did a great job with this remake by making it more intense and scary despite they removed some section especially on the Island.
They also made Leon character development makes more sense. I mean, the og RE4 Leon feels like a complete different character, throwing one liner left and right as if he's in a theme park compare to og RE 2 Leon who sounds pretty serious to do his job to protect and saving people lives. With RE4 remake, Leon is more serious and very dedicated to save people because he got trauma from RE 2 but he can still throw a couple of one liner and even some savage words towards his enemies.
I also love what they did to other characters like Ashley and Luis. Ashley charatcter is definitely an improvement compare to the og. And the lore where Luis was an ex-Umbrella employee also a good addition.
But I got three complaint for the gameplay:
1. The stagger / stun condition. If Leon got hit, his recovery frame is pretty long and the enemies can hit you again when you're still in recovery. It's really annoying but i guess that's how they balance the game considering Leon can shoot while move, parry, stealth kill, and finish down enemies with his knife.
2. When Leon start climbing the ladder, there's no more iframe so Leon can get hit.
3. I understand why they reduced the feature for Ashley to hide at a locker only in specific section. But i'm not sure why they removed the "Wait" command for Ashley. It's a bit annoying to see Ashley keeps following me from behind when i need to retreat from the enemies and somehow she got shot / hit by me / the enemies and i must help her to stand or the enemies will kidnap her. The Water Hall section made me nuts. I can't remember how many times i scream when Ashley got hit by the enemies or kidnapped lol.
With RE4 Remake main campaign done, i probably gonna play a bit of Mercenaries mode and then go back to SF 6 again. I'll get Ada DLC when it's on sale.
Have a nice weekend guys 🍻
@JonnyAces I pray a speedy recovery for your son. Stay strong mate 🙏🙏
In preparation of the Soul Reaver Remasters I plan to platinum Blood Omen 1&2.
Enjoying the the recent DLC with Stellar Blade. Photo mode has been pretty fun. Looking to get back into Dragon Dogma 2 and maybe squeeze in some online matches with Marvel vs Capcom Collection.
Cranking through Stellar Blade NG+ at the moment. I have Elden Ring arriving today, but that was only because it was $20. My backlog is silly right now. I need to head up to my mother's, drop her grocery order, and build some furniture. After that, some shopping with my son. Gaming will be a bit this afternoon and maybe a bit tonight.
No DQ3 players?!
Slowly making my way through Metaphor on Xbox and Persona 5 Royal on Steam Deck
I tried the Metaphor demo and am really enjoying it. So I’ll finish that and continue with Final Fantasy VII Rebirth. Happy gaming!
MHR Sunbreak. Gonna reach MR 100 fight whatevers there then probably move on to MHW
Digimon Survive I was interested in this but still hadn't bit the bullet. Now that it's on plus, I might as well give it a try. It's pretty interesting so far and feels kinda eerie like a horror vn despite being Digimon lol
I think I'm getting really close to the end of Dark Souls 3. Been having a good ol' time.
I'm still deep in Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered getting pretty close to the end so just jumped into the Frozen Wilds stuff.
For all its little issues I really love this game.
Just finished Marvel's Avengers main campaign (which was really good) and I'll be jumping into late game content and dlc.
Finishing ender lilies, playing some songs at theathrym final bar and starting ng+++ of stellar blade with nier costumes and doing a lot of photos with photo mode.
Still dual-weilding Unicorn Overlord & Dparking Zero with HZD Remastered waiting its turn in line. This is gonna be the rest of the year for me.
Happy gaming!
I’ll be playing through the Black Ops 6 campaign on Veteran with what time I have this weekend. I finished it on Normal last night and found it to be very ‘middle of the road’. Certainly some great fights and fun chapters but there were also a few chapters that actually incorporated zombies and Batman-like movement which I found to be out of place and unnecessary in an otherwise decent story.
@Judal27 I wanted to try Digimon Survive too but wasn't sure it was worst jumping to PS Plus Extra for. Let me know how it goes! 😃
@Paramahansa yeah I think The Avengers story campaign is very good ! Just got sick of smashing crates etc. The multiplayer was ok too, in small doses, had some fun with the DLC characters
Still working my way through Astrobot after being late to the party.
Makes me smile on every new level.
After trying and failing to get into 'Mass Effect: Andromeda' (for the third time), I finished getting the platinums for the Legacy Collection instead this weekend.
Here's hoping the next Mass Effect is a banger.
I’m going to play Pokémon Yellow on my GBC mostly for gaming. Azur Lane has a To Love-ru event, which is my favorite anime so I need to focus on that.
I’ve taken a break for a couple days from Stellar Blade, so maybe I’ll try getting back to it.
Finished
Playing (by recent playing time)
Picked up the PS4 version of Marvel vs. Capcom Fighting Collection. I'll be playing it on PS5.
I got the double pack yesterday and I started with Remake. (Integrade) which is good because I tried a demo once and thought no way am I playing this what seemed like rubbish. It was just choppy as hell, no wonder we are so finicky about frames now
I'm playing Veilguard and having fun with it. It's a fun action game.... Those forced ideology quests are really bad, though. They just seem like a joke, can't beleive they though anyone would take that crap seriously. (for real, I can't believe they really scold people for not recognizing "they/them" as a singular pronoun). Fortunately, it's only a few of them and mostly optional.
Lego Batman 3 for the PS3. Liked the first one, really enjoyed the second game back in the day and again when replaying last year, so I figured it's about time I play the third.
I'm only about an hour or so in, but I've been digging it so far. Except for the green lighting when using Batman's Sensor Suit. Talk about hard on the eyes, especially while high and in the dark. Oof.
@3Above idk that it's worth subbing haha, but so far so good. As a VN at least cause I haven't been put into combat much yet. But the story is super intriguing and picks up pretty quick
I'm pretty sure it's on sale rn for $15. I think that's a really good price for it
Helldivers 2 and finally getting around to starting FF16.
I guess I'm in the final 10 hours or so in Dragon Age The Veilguard (75+ hours so far). I really don't understand all the hate the game got on the internet. From a lore standpoint as Dragon Age fan, this game answered a lot of questions I had not only after playing previous games but even in the novels and comics.
I hope the last few hours will be great. I heard that the ending is one of the best in Bioware's history so let's see.
@Kraven You're in for a treat. Dragon Age Origins was peak in terms of story, characters. I didn't like gameplay though but the game was awesome.
Since the 60 fps patch released, and I heard it had the best stealth in the series, I started AC Syndicate. Most of the Abstergo/main line story is just bombastic Marvel writing, but the setting is incredible and the stealth is much better than most AC games. You can sneak! Like, with a button and er'thang!!! Anyway, I'm enjoying it. Traversal is a blast with the grappling hook/zipline. It's my favorite of the old guard AC games that I have played. I want to try Brotherhood again some time.
@danzoEX I'm so tempted to pick up DQ3, but I've just bought loads of other games. I may crumble later on
GT7 and some more Fallout IV. Just bought Robocop and Alan Wake in the sales, so maybe they will get a try out too
Currently playing two games. First is Legacy of Kain Blood Omen. I remember this game as a kid and it’s still great. Second is Wayfinder. I’m really enjoying it, a looter game that can be fully enjoyed single player but also with other players. It delivers on the whole type of experience for only $25 so I highly recommend it.
Well here we are with another awesome WAYP. Been a stupidly awesome week around here. The week was mostly games like Trails Through Daybreak, Emio, Tekken 8 and Metaphor. Most of the weekend was spent with Emio and Zelda and YS X. Emio continues to be amazing and I still have no guess on who the actual criminal is. Beat Zelda and honestly the ending made me really sad but the villain of this game may be my favorite Zelda Villain? It was really really fresh and cool. And YS X continues being the sleeper GOTY hit of the year it’s so riveting. Also on the Tekken front I’m two trophies away from the Platinum so I’m gonna try to shoot for that soon. That’s GOTY contender too. Also got Lego Horizon like mentioned before and honestly that game is pleasant fun it’s nothing insane but it’s really quite cute and fun. Rest of the weekend I’m thinking is gonna be some Metaphor or Star Wars Outlaws I’m really undecided maybe even Visions of Mana can get a solid shot if it wants because on one hand I wanna beat Metaphor before TGA but the other two have been sitting around for months. Speaking of TGA those nominations eh? I’m rooting for Astro Bot, FFVII Rebirth and Metaphor Refantazio if any of them win I’m happy. Otherwise I’m thinking this week is mostly gonna consist of some Trails Through Daybreak, Emio, Dawntrail, Metaphor, Tekken 8 Plat, Star Wars Outlaws, Visions of Mana, Super Mario Party Jamboree, Mario and Luigi Brothership and maybe some YS X. Only two games I’m really interested in getting the rest of the year would be physical versions of Dragon Quest III HD-2D and Marvel Vs Capcom Fighting Collection. The wrestling thing this week being AEW Full Gear. A seriously great PPV that was well worth what I caught of it. Excellent matches like the Women’s Match with Mercedes and Kris, the Swerve and Bobby match, the BOOMTASTIC Costco Guys Match and the Main Event of Jon Moxley VS Orange Cassidy having a absolute banger of a end to the whole PPV with runouts of another great match Hangman Adam Page and Switchblade Jay White. Simply outstanding. Anime of the week gotta go to Dandadan and Dragon Ball Daima and Shangri La Frontier and Yakuza Fiancé and Ron Kaminohashis Forbidden Deductions and Ranma 1/2. Yeah same as before absolutely all stellar picks. Yall really should go check out the choices for Best Adaptation like the Yakuza show and Tomb Raider and Fallout show they’re all really good comfort shows. Podcasts of this week gotta go to Castle Superbeast, Big Think Dimension, Into The Aether, RPGsites Tetracast, Minnmax, Jeff Gerstmann, Kit and Krysta, Last Stand Media, Easy Allies, Second Wind, Nextlander, Cultaholic Wrestling, Weapon Wheel Podcast and Remap Radio. As always yall stay safe, be awesome to each other. Have a totally awesome weekend and of course Happy Gaming.
Metaphor is my GOTY.
Still working on Dragon Quest III HD-2D
I've been bouncing between alot of games, here are the top 3 I'm focusing on.
Sleeping Dogs: Definitive Edition (PS4)
The Evil Within (PS4)
Alien: Isolation (PS4)
@BlaizeV me too i recently put in a 960gb ssd into my super slim ps3. both the ps2 and ps3 are easily my golden age of video games. so much greatness. when i was younger i was on the x360, so im REALLY enjoying replaying my faves on my ps3.
Mario Party Jamboree! I am also still trying to finish up Legend Of Zelda: Echoes Of Wisdom.
I'm a little late to the party but I just started Tales of Arise and I'm loving it. Will also continue to be embarrassed by my son at BO6.
