Just a heads up that there is a bug out now where fallout 4 won't even get to the title screen on ps5...typical Bethesda. Also personal opinion but remember the next-gen update we got for Skyrim and temper expectations everyone. Had to remind myself to lol

@wiiware one of the reasons I am happy to have invested in the Portal I got last week. It's really awesome and you can travel anywhere with it too. Just need to hotspot your phone and have good internet with a hardwired ps5 giving the best experience over wifi

Anyone find info on if they are any dualsense features for ps5 version?

Now Epic just needs to let Remedy make a physical edition of Alan Wake 2. I will GLADLY double dip on that game

My memory is foggy on this topic but the retrotink 5xpro works best with ps2 games, not ps3/ps4 games, as it upscales the ps2 to 1080p

Good game but I must have missed extra side content with turgle character or something cause I just remember him after rescuing him and wasn't that funny.
Will definitely be fun to play again on ng+ now that performance mode works. Played originally on 30fps

I hopped into this the other day, having not played it since launch.
It was oddly stuttering frames, the game would stop for a second and then start again. Is this a common issue with the game? Was playing on performance mode, fov was set to default.
On a side note, does a fov increase break the game at all?

Whelp.... good thing I own the original 3 games and can play them on my phat ps2 connected to a retrotink 5x pro and get 1080p, and even HDR if I wanted too.

I finished it the other day. I enjoyed it like it did the first one. Just wish, like the first one, that they polished up the graphical issues more. Last chapter was wild though so I'm definitely intrigued to see where it goes with the final game in the trilogy

Played the tutorial last night. Was.... interesting... the dragging with the combos was throwing me off hardcore.... i think I was being a little too realistic with waiting for the swing to finish before starting again
... I'm assuming it's more of a mash the trigger and move control stick left and right to kill enemies.. type of game

This actually sounds really cool. I haven't played Legions, do ya'll think that this game is worth getting to play this DLC and the base game as Aiden Pierce?

Full ps5 version for me. Will help me finish my back catalog and besides they have been delaying it due to issues on the last gen consoles.

I was kind of meh about it after the recent trailer was released BUT then I played the free demo on Stadia and was pleasantly surprised by it. Not a day 1 title but definitely on my list to play now

@710King minus the mechanics because those are baked into the game the textures and everything else you mentioned we're enhanced by the power of the 1X so it wasn't like playing the original vanilla version of the game. What yes is great but it is a little rough compared to today's standards of 4K

I think the Crash Bandicoot remake Trilogy would be a smart PS Plus game. It would help promote the sales crash 4 which comes out in October

So being completely new to the series should i play this before Bloodlines 2 or is this just like a side story type deal? Looks really cool. My favorite vampire game hands down is Blood Omen 2 on ps2. I dabbled a bit in Vampyr, should probably redownload it again at some point and try it again.

@Nepp67 heck yea. Skate was so awesome back in the day. Fingers crossed they don't mess it up. I think they are learning though since the release of Apex Legends, Jedi Fallen Order and the AMAZINGLY NOSTALGIC command & conquer remaster collection

@Angry_Chainsaw Resident Evil has never been exclusive to any console.... maaaybe a timed exclusive but i don't think so. Capcom would miss out on way too much money by making it exclusive to on platform.

That being said, my go to games that i keep returning to are the Arkham Series games, I really hope we can get Origins remastered somehow. I just love that series. I do love going back to most of the games I've played though, as long as they aren't suuuuper long to beat again.
I'm replaying LoU of ps4 pro and the dlc (which i never played) before part 2 comes out.
I just got a ps2 slim and am rebuilding my childhood (along with my n64) in gaming. So want to play through those again too.

@MattSilverado I just recently got a PS2 so excited to play hit on that only Mafia game I ever played was a bit of Mafia 2 and a bit of Mafia 3 definitely want to get back into the series

The present day stuff is good just hasn't been as awesome as it was with desmond miles. I wanna know what happened to him becoming a modern day assassins or at least someone. Still waiting on having a modern day AC game somehow or set in alternate modern day timeline

I think they could still do it.They just do it online and they will be fine. Look at the numbers of views and likes/shares and all that that they got when they released the Controller info and pic on PSBlob, heck even just when they released the image for the logo. I think it will be a reaval video via PSBlog during the month of May, along with a price drop because that would be 6 months out from their release date of November which will be there "Holiday Release Window"

Agreed, give me bigger levels. The game worlds are getting to big and too detailed that the systems can't proper keep up with them. If you want an open world game just make it smaller but just pack it with tons of immersive details.

@BearsEatBeets agreed. It would be silly for them to learn a new engine when they have been using Unreal for a while now. Can't wait for what I'm sure is the sequel. Glad to see they are looking into 3D Audio, as they should being a 1st party developers. I haven't tried it yet but been meaning to give the 3d audio setting they made for the Platinum headset.

Just bought an M cable for my PS3. So that has breathed new life into all those back catalogue games

@JJ2 remasters are asked for so much because before Microsoft and the backwards compatability they started there was no way to play your old games on console in a higher resolution and better framerate. What they accomplished is pretty incredibly and never been done before. Here's to hoping Sony can pull something like that off. I would be sooo pumped.

I'd really like to be able to play my small physical collection of ps3 games that are nostalgic to me and I have a ton digitally that would be awesome of they got the "X" treatment and were raised in resolution. Since using my Pro going back to a 720p game is pretty rough and the ps3 had ALLOT of screen tearing issues.
If sony doesn't announce something for backwards compatability like the "X" has then that may be the reason I get an X.
Just imagine - splinter cell hd collection, the darkness 1 & 2, mgs 1-4, eternal sonata, castlevania series, spec ops: the line, kingdoms of angular, alice madness returns, star wars force Unleashed 1 & 2 and so much more uprezed and enhanced to 4k 60 by the power of the PS5. I'd be in heaven lol

I agree with this article so much. I only get certain games as physical copies if I really like it and mainly if it's a ps4 exclusive plus I get it as a steel book case edition if I can. Space is also a HUGE factor as well.
Side note here's to hoping the small physical collection of ps3 games I have will be backwards compatable too

If it's just the gameplay and tracking that is bad one can hopefully .... hope... that that can be patched.

@doctommaso yes ps1 was there first console. However I was more referring to the fact that the ps2 was such an incredible console and touted as one of the best consoles ever. I'm sure there will digital versions of ps1 and ps2 games to buy but being able to pop in an old disc would just be epic... we shall see

Super stoked for the ps5. Would love to see some inclusion of backwards compatability for the ps2. If they are all about history of gaming, that console made them what they are. Sales numbers dont lie
