@TheBuzz thanks for the support, nice someone could see what I was kinda getting at, even if I was a little extreme in my point making. It’s all been about other platforms for ages. The next big thing in gaming is the PS5, so why should we care about ***** like the Wii U etc. In all actuality Sony is THE dominant force in gaming, has been since the original PlayStation, all the rest are just mere shadow efforts. @LiamCroft is that a warning or a threat? Not quite sure how to take it, maybe you could enlighten me, have you had a complaint or are you just generally singling my comment out because it offends you or maybe others? If so, don’t remove me, I kind of enjoy heated discussions on here and to date haven’t had any issues, I’m bipolar, I get carried away sometimes. Not really intentional. My kids would love this title if the rumour is true, I gave them a choice of this or CTR at xmas as they’re still a bit young for the full on violence of COD, GTA, BF1-5 etc. They chose CTR so I’ll certainly download it on their PS+ if it comes on, (hate to say I’d probably get it myself as well) I say humorously while sitting in a Crash Nsane trilogy t-shirt 🤓🤨🤪🤣🤣. Great game though and a PlayStation classic.

@Grindagger yea I agree totally on this point as I’m the same all my games are digital, and I don’t want to lose them either but I was kind of thinking we’d just be able to log into our PS network accounts and hopefully everything will just transfer over for us if you know what I mean, I see this is still in some regards backwards compatibility whichever way it’s done. I hadn’t thought of it that way. If that isn’t the case and we need to make new accounts from scratch then we’re going to have to keep the PS4 we have which seems to defeat the point of a new console, I was worrying about the amount of games that will be around when the PS5 is released, hence why I’m hoping our current accounts will work in the way I’d like. I also think all the games that have been delayed recently are actually going to now be PS5 release titles? What do you think?

In the grand scheme of things, wether it is backwards compatible with ps1 ps2 is completely meaningless. I mean other than nerdy die hard fans, who seriously wants to be playing games on such a powerful console with graphics like they were back then? I think they should have kept them all separate anyway in the interests of evolution, I’d understand PS4 backwards and maybe some ps3 but the ps3 ones are available on PS now, so really there’s your backwards compatibility there. They haven’t made the PS4 that way except for PS now, so why are they gonna change tactics now? PS now works fine the way it is for those who want to reminisce but for the rest of us this isn’t the big thing we’re looking for from the next gen console.

I hate it, all these fan ideas are a waist of time. Why don’t we just wait patiently till unveiling day and then we’ll know for certain. I bet Sony are chomping at the bit to say “here is our new console” especially with all the fervour that being created already. I believe we’ll have it well before Christmas this year, I’m banking on a late August early September release.

I think it might be silver in colour, similar to the original PlayStation platinum games boxes, if I’m remembering right of course. And with it being 25 years, maybe silver or gold. Either way whatever they choose, I’ll be over the moon I’m already saving for the new console and release day titles...and quite frankly, I cannot wait!

@JoeBlogs they're not remastered they're the same as they were on PS3. The graphics aren't improved. Lame offering. They could have given PS4 games, seeing how its a PS4 service nowadays and The Uncharted series has been on PSnow for ages. And Goat sim is the worst game ever invented. Just saying.

As I said on last topic PlayStation 3 games and the worst sim ever invented. Disgraceful from Sony. They need to overhaul their service drastically if this is all they're offering!

Sony want slapped really, for the terrible games this month. I'm sure someone will want them, but PS3 games that have been on PSnow for ages, and the worst sim ever created, just shows the lack of dedication towards those who have PS+, they just don't care. I know it doesn't apply to me but there are people out there who like these games monthly, and its not fair on them. Makes you wonder how committed Sony are to this service. Needs an overhaul.

Well what can I say here then? Fair enuf Uncharted is a decent old game, and you’ve got the lot here. But who the f##k thought anyone would like to be a goat and simulate its lifestyle is beyond my comprehension, it’s as bad as those numptys who are obsessed with unicorns! What a joke giving it away as a free game. This only backs up my previous comments from the last topic about which games we’d like? Sony are having a laugh at our expense, hopefully enough backlash might force a change of title so can I have some support please. If you haven’t played the uncharted games well worth the download.

But then I see your comment disappeared, I hide behind no keyboard, I’m merely defending myself after others took unexpected offence at my lack of interest in the titles offered lately. I’m sure people are quite entitled to their opinion as I am mine, and you are yours. If someone thinks I’m hiding, then if it’s was wished for, I could very easily make that disappear by offering to meet them in public to show I’m no coward. Never have been and never will be. In future don’t make presumptions that someone is hiding behind a keyboard unless you yourself would be willing to face that person and state it directly to their face. Ok? @Grindagger Xbox does better, I know the cost of their service is higher but so is the quality of games, I know you can’t get top titles but I was originally saying that would be a good move. I just felt the titles on offer were poor. Then others on here had to up the anti. Not you by the way but I’m sure you’ve seen the backlash lol. I’m. Used to it

And Detroit is a load of shit, so who cares about that, and this years games have been garbage same as the last 2 year. For me I’m paying merely to play online. By the look of the lame games in the comments it would appear that no one really gives a 💩 about the pi## poor quality of games usually offered! And if the majority had their way we’d have even worse games to claim. Most of the games mentioned are years old. Seriously I think we should be getting 1 top title and one from the top 20 every month that would make it way more beneficial than simply paying to play online and receiving absolute 💩 games every month! I give up seriously. I must be one of the only ones who think we’re being ripped off.!

I love my PS4, I’m defo keeping it when I purchase the new console next year, I was going to sell it but I simply can’t I’ve way too many things on it to just reset it and sell it cheap. 60 plus games and 💩load of movies. Can’t stand motorcross games too much boring repetitiveness, kind of aimed at younger players. And I’d hate too say more of an American based title, I already own TF2 and that’s why there no interest in this months games. I must say TF2 is a really engaging story and the online multiplayer is cool.

But this is a neat looking console none the less. @Shigurui I think it looks pretty sweet, better than the PS4 and PS3,2and 1. I really hope it does look like this ‘cause it will be the neatest piece of gaming kit out there. Other than heavily modded gaming PCs which I’m totally not into. About time we had a kick ass console.

@Arucrazi I completely agree with you on this point. I recently emailed Sony about why they feel the need to put American sport games to the European players, I’ve also raised it with EA, because EA access is full of American sports, baseball, hockey, basketball, and I believe in targeting the correct audience with these games. FPS are multi national as we all play them but American sports appeal mainly to an American audience, in the same way as Japanese games appeal more to those in the country that lives on anime and manga. I’m sure that Sony and EA could add titles that would appeal more to us in the future, though I think we’d be mad to wait for them to do so. Great that I see others support my theory, and I’m with you all the way on this.

I completed TLOU remastered on PlayStation Now and I loved it. Then it was kinda forgotten about until they announced the release date for TLOU2. At which point I thought f##k it I’m gonna buy it and play the game again, then it was leaked to be October ps+ title and well that sealed the deal. I’m glad it’s free this coming month, the best free game period on ps+. I’m not interested in the other game I hate sport games in general, but I do enjoy driving games. I used to love the original NFS games but EA has destroyed them recently, with most of them falling way short of racers like DIRT and The Crew. Looking forward to February. Does anyone think TLOU2 will be the last major game released solely for the PS4? Prior to the PS5 release date?

I cannot wait, well I can ‘cos I have to lol, but I think the wait has been quite long enough now. This is the biggest game I’m looking forward to other than Death Stranding. It’s going to be a whoppa!

I wouldn’t expect too much from this Sony reveal. As we’re in between consoles I can’t see them plowing any cash into anything new for PS4 in the future. We haven’t had a software update recently and that’s an interesting feature. They were coming every month or so until recently. Maybe they will tease the PS5 or say that the next gen games developers have something to show us. Either way I’m not holding my breath for anything worth our time until they announce the next console.

This is one game I really want to play, TLOU 1, was the best game and story I’ve ever played. The intricacy, the emotion, the detail. Everything was perfect. If only every game had this level of commitment the gaming world would be complete. It’s the sort of game, real gamers love. So if we have to wait, then that’s fine. The longer we wait then the more perfect the end result will be. I cannot wait. I’ve a feeling it will be a next gen PS5 title though, along with other massive titles like Sniper Elite 5, GTA 6............we can only but hope so. Comments welcome as always.

I’m not trying to be objective I’m having my say, just like everybody else. And yes if you say so about me being bias, I hate DC. Everything from their movies, to their comics, everything about them. And like I said before, it’s about freedom of choice and expression, don’t know what my comment has to do with your lame attempt to try and better my view. @Flaming_Kaiser I hate these type of fighting game intertwined with a piss poor story plot told through cut scenes, I know most games have cut scenes but this line of game has more off shoots than an a field of grass. Plus the fact I can’t stand DC characters. It’s just a lame title. And to add to that, all the reviews were poor, MK is a much better line of beat em ups, and Batman is s***, that’s what I’m on about. Each to their own I suppose. You like it, I don’t. That’s the beauty of freedom of choice.............

Where do I start with these ultimate drivel of s**** offerings this month on PS+? Well for starters both these games are available on PS now streaming service, so once again Sony is giving us games from it’s huge list of not so great titles. Forget the shiny graphics of Batman the game is crap. Repetitive fighting of the same worthless enemies you fight in every other Batman title. Don’t waist your time. Even if it is for ‘free’. The standard of games on this service (PS+) has dramatically dropped because the console is nearing the end of its life cycle. As for Darksiders 3 we might aswell be playing on the PlayStation 3, graphics are terrible and I hate this type of game anyway. Another waist of time. F##k both of them and f##k Sony for beings complete ** again. Bah FML!

When will they start spending money on new games instead of insulting us with remastered ones. I feel like they’re just cashing in on old popular titles. Like COD MW etc........enough is enough. Im horrified that they’re trying to charge a whopping £84.99 for the next remaster COD. I for 1 will not be purchasing it and as for the free game I bought sniper elite when it came out. So what the point. They need to seriously change tactic with PS+ because all I get for my yearly subscription is the ability to play online and watch YouTube etc. Disgraceful. Yet another disgraceful selection. I hate wipeout, such pathetic game, in every sense of the word. Never liked any of the wipeouts. They’re not good looking good to play. The crew etc are real racing games. And I already own every sniper elite so pointless free games. This whole PS+ thing is becoming more of a rip off..............

Was going to invest even though I have quite a few of these titles but as you all reckon some titles are missing I might have to reconsider. I wanted to play battlefield 1942, Medal of honour etc. Guess we’re just not worthy!

I dnt know why other than greed a company would bring out several versions of the same game, it drives menus when they charge different amounts for less content than the entire game. Wouldn’t any normal sane person just releases one title, one game, one price!!!! Simple business sense really, when you consider the fact if you buy the cheaper copy then some essential part of the experience will be missing. There is a name for this type of sale, it’s called rip-off!!!!!! And I guarantee it won’t be a fraction of the game we’ve been shown up to now!

Fair enough FF were genre defining games of their day, but isn’t it getting pretty 💩y, that the best we have to look forward too is remakes of classic games?. Look at the money and time it takes to redo them it would cost the same to make a new one?. So why all the remakes? I’m all about progression, not regression. Seems like the industry is running out of ideas for the longevity of new games. It’s simply same old same, kinda like the movie industry, re shoot,re package, re sell. Thoughts people???...........
