Watching other people play Dragon’s Lair was more fun than playing Dragon’s Lair.

I’m on the fence about it, so I invite whomever voted ‘abysmal’ to tell me why.

Huh, nothing about making my PS5 Pro worth the money I shelled out? Oh well.

@Casco if you cripple your console and make the money you spent on it effectively worth less, you are helping some future boy or girl not have to deal with rising sea levels, rampaging icebergs, and superstorms.

It’s gotta be a native PS5 version of Red Dead Redemption 2.

@gamer153 First game I ever bought for my C64 was an Indiana Jones game on a floppy disk at Toys R Us. Totally unplayable, bugs out the wazoo. Had to return it. This idyllic perfect past never existed.

@Snick27 I did too on the PS4 version, called PlayStation and they actually gave me my money back. Then I got the PS5 version on a 50% off sale, and it’s absolutely amazing. Well worth getting into.

@Ravix I think the sound card or audio card (or whatever this thing has) went bad. No matter the input, output, or cable, it’s pops and static and lag. And yes, pretty happy the new one arrives soonest.

@Ravix Well, my PS5 just took a giant dump (started with audio lag, moved into full on distortion, nothing fixes it) so I just bought a PS5 Pro and I’m going to buy Indy after I get it set up.Guess the universe wants me to have it.

Love the first three movies. The latter 2 suck. The trailers I’ve seen for this game make it look janky, even though everyone swears up and down it looks amazing. Waiting for a sale.

@get2sammyb I guess so. It was my first of the genre. The humour didn’t gel with me and it seemed like busywork more than fun.

I tried 2P Hospital on Steam a while back based on the rave reviews. Good lord did I hate it. I don’t think these management sims are for me. Thankfully it was a sale price.

It still boggles my mind that we have to choose between performance or frame rate on a machine that costs $700.

I'd buy One On One: Dr. J vs Larry Bird, if they ever brought it back.

Bland, generic cast? Check. Super cheap aesthetic? Check. Trailer that gives too much away? Check. Hard pass? Check.

Sounds idiotic. Only reason this is called UD is for name recognition, and it’s not like all the people who played the game will go see it. I’m sure going to skip it, and I love the game

@LavenderShroud My dad does that. He sits and watches COD videos on YouTube while eating dinner. But he's 79 and doesn't really have the reflexes to play anymore.

@PuppetMaster the biggest downfall of modern society in my opinion is people thinking their opinion is fact.

I’ve been playing SH2 and am about an hour in now (never played the original) and I’m at the point where you’re wandering around the town hitting the creatures with a wooden plank and basically just walking around looking at buildings. It’s got a vaguely creepy feeling, but otherwise rather dull. This game strikes me as mostly a walking simulator with rare bouts of combat, and very boring combat at that. Does it get better? Am I to expect a lot more?

@amatmulisha Yes! I’ve played a ton of horror games and survived most, but RE7 scares the hell out of me.

Right embarrassing, but I plan on cringing my way through RE7, as I've never had the cojones to finish it and just finished RE8. I know, backwards, but what can one do?

I continue to be glad I saved my $700.

Also: Is that a bit of sunlight I see reflected in someone’s eyeball? Never mind, I’m buying one.

I remain steadfast in my desire to let everyone know I’m passing on the PS5 Pro. Bring on the PS6!

It was insanely satisfying to throw a successful curveball in Hardball on the C64, so I might play these…for the aforementioned 15 seconds.

Not everything has to be a stupid TV show.

So if I were to shell out $50k to these guys, would I have 5 times the chance of getting one?

I’m not sure if I’m the only one that feels this way, and I don’t feel this way all the time, but the PS5 has mostly been a bit of a letdown. It doesn’t seem like it’s anything that’s even remotely close to its full potential.

I'm totally going to blow $700 on this so I can see stuff reflected in the floor in a video game.

@Zeke68 interesting. I suffer from single-sided deafness in left ear, always at least moderate to bad tinnitus. Thank god the vertigo has gone away. Maybe I’m glad I’ve waited on the VR thing.
