Got myself a Series S today, will play Witcher 2 most likely xD

Although Bella doesn't look like Ellie she certainly sounds and acts like her and that's great. The pilot was pretty good so far (except for missing spores... and why was the car turned upside down?) The granny scene was most frightening..Yeah looking forward too see more of it

Played the demo on the 120hz with RT enabled, felt pretty smooth. I liked the gameplay and traversal. I have a knack for open world games where you see something cool in the backround which you can actually reach. As mentioned the heroine is the only thing constantly breaking my immersion, although I like the NIEResque banter with the bracelet. Maybe not a day1 for me but I'm certainly interested in getting it.

If you struggle with the boss, like I did, try activating the high contrast mode in the accessibility options. This way you'll see the crawler enemies very easy. Honestly I beat the boss first try after I activated the option.

The trilogy is a pretty neat set of remasters, strongly recommended. Since I already own it, I'm looking forward to check out Biomutant on PS5.

I pre-ordered some 5hrs before release... Enjoying this game so far, I do like the fighting system but it needs some time to get used to. A little too much crawling through vents and moving through narrow spaces for my taste.
I wonder about several of my usual reviewers rating this game as disappointment... Maybe expectations were too high?

Thought this was a solid 7. Slow start but worked out pretty cool. Could've been more interactive, brighter and with less terrible motion blur but all in all a fun game for the weekend and perfectly fine for black fridays 25€ price..

Really cool, I love the series and I usually completed the whole saga once a year for some time. Recently got Soul Reaver 2 and Defiance via gog.com for 0.99eur each... But I'm willing to pay for a simple remaster or remake for playstation for sure. And a sequel oh that would be great.... But man Michael Bell is in his 80s...

Ragnarök all the way I think, I've a strange urge to play GoW3 again, maybe I'll give that a shot as well.

Guten Tag, m8 xD Yes I'm from Germany and have a "keen" love for oldschool games. Wouldn't mind some kind of remaster for Commander Keen and Duke Nukem 2.

Ghost Song which is really cool, most likely Shattered Remastered and maybe I'll wrap up The Medium.

This'll be an instabuy, the fantastic soundtrack alone is worthy the price of admission (which won't be that high I hope xD)

I finished it on tuesday, it was enjoyable but I didn't like the ending and the storybeats to reach it. It didn't have the same emotional impact for me as the first part... I'll never forget that battlefield from the first game, but I have to admit "the island" was fantastic and I liked that you actually were able to reach buildings and places which you could see from afar like in Dark Souls. I really enjoyed the more open aspects in the stealth sections, these were way more fun then in the previous game. All in all a solid 8 for me.
Oh yes and Amicia's character development and especially her voice acting were fantastic. Charlotte definitely deserves an award for her performance.

Death Stranding isn't working for me, tried the disc version, the version from Extra and the Director's Cut... Will try on a classic PS4.

Somehow the 3rd person doesn't feel quite right. They told us they had to optimise the game for it, but it still feels tacked on. Maybe close corridors weren't the right place to show off this mode in the demo.

I pld mostly A Plague Tale: Requiem, I'm in chapter XI, but seriously need a break now... So I dusted off Titanfall 2, love that game

First thing I always do is checking those options for disabling button mashing and use buttton holding instead. I think many games support this nowadays..

You could still switch to 1440p if your TV supports it, WQHD is not 4k but since most games aren't native 4k anyways you might won't even notice the difference. I really didn't with 1080p xD

This comes from the same studio as Arkham Origins, right? Afaik this has the best story of all the Arkham games or so I've heard (can't remember exactly soooo long ago xD) so I'll give this a shot when it'll be a little bit cheaper. It's priced at 75 € here atm and thats way too expensive.
Whatched the Digital Foundry comparison to Arkham Knight yesterday, what a disappointment :-/ Hope they'll get this fixed, although the publisher is not well known to support it's products well.

I'm just playing it with the 120hz mode in 1440p. TV doesn't support VRR unfortunatly. Runs pretty decent but it seems there are certain instances where indeed the framerate drops under 30 fps. After Pt. 1 got it's fantastic PS5 patch this is for sure somehow disappointing.
Anyway I'm more the guy who enjoys a good narrative driven single player game so I'll kindly overlook the issues for now. Game's been pretty cool so far.

Ah yes and I'll go with the 40fps option as well I think. Unfortunatly my TV is HDMI 2.0 so it's only 1080p / 40fps @ 120hz, but in my experience the additional graphical effects absolutely make up for it (Ratchet, Miles Morales and Horizon all looked fantastic).
Edit: It seems that suddenly my TV supports 1440p now (it wasn't available after the respective PS5 firmware update...huh!), so this'll work a bit better now xD

Did you guys notice the horrible performance on PS5 if you switch to "native" resolution? I think it just scales up to 4k but switches to 30fps or something.

I adored Bella Ramsey in Game of Thrones, she was awesome as the little bear... But she doesn't look like her videogame counterpart at all.. we all know that Ellen Page would've been the perfect fit, but that's not gonna happen now.. so well yeah, let's see how this will work out. I'm pretty sure we'll get used to it.

I need to get used to Bella acting as Ellie but goddamn this looks pretty promising. Looking forward to it!

Prodeus and I I started another Cyberpunk run on PS5 this time.

The german dub is also absolutely hilarious containing lots of superficial youth lingo which is just embarassing.

BUT it catches the atmosphere of Night City perfectly so I'll still recommend it

For whatever reason I pay just 10 bucks for premium and it seems to be ongoing.. (I had ps now monthly b4 w/o a plus subscription...) so I don't really care xD but yeah I was slightly irritated about the 35 minutes trial which I didn't use completely xD game is pretty cool, but I'll wait for a sale. And yeah Sony should get their sh*t together...

I think I earned two in Returnal for Leader and good sport, but really dunno. It was my first and only game this far which sported accolades.

For the asking price I think I'll give it a try... Man just imagine an Assassins Creed in India xD

I'm one of the few who doesn't understand the fuzz about this franchise, but JRPGs aren't my cup of tea anyways... I just think isn't this animated and drawn, do we need a PS5 version at all? Maybe for some better audio or enhanced controller rumble? If this is just a basic port then it's scummy indeed.

My cat escaped the heat and went to the bathroom, so I'll have a purring and heartbeating controller on my lap. It's really fascinating how realistic it feels xD Anyway the game is great this far, did you notice the fantastic soundtrack and 3d effects?

Same thought here, I love the movie Deathwatch and instantly thought of it. Would be very cool to have something like it in game form.

I bloodmosquitoed her to death but it needed two summons who followed me through on that tactic, think it took 20 tries or so. Of course there was the typical 1% left on the enemeies health bar situation where you think that now you're gonna win. Ah I so love/hate these games xD

I was too late for the Bloodborne Guide but I got the one for the Old Hunters DLC and that one is amazing.

Is this the same US Director's Cut with the still cut intro and the horrible new soundtrack or the "european" one. I think the dual shock version was the proper one for the US? I can't remember....xD

Tbh only the Rick&Morty game, Plague Tale, Scorn, Diablo IV and of course Starfield (I think this was absolut alpha footage, it stuttered in the beginning and the constant cuts in the mids of gameplay really got on my nerves) stood out for me. I had the feeling the rest of it were comicy multiplayer games with horrible trailer music.. and Kojimas backstab was a bitter pill to swallow. The "exclusives" presented here I'll mostly play via cloud gaming on my PC I guess. I still see no reason why to buy an Xbox at all.
