Set during the apocalyptic final years of The Great War, Ad Infinitum tells the story of a German soldier no longer able to differentiate between the horrors of war and the supernatural monsters pursuing him through deserted trenches.
Here is an overview of the title, from the game's official website:
- World War I-themed horror game.
- State-of-the-art visuals and audio presentation.
- Challenging puzzles embedded into the historical setting.
- Historically accurate equipment and environments.
- Stealth interaction with several horrific creatures.
- Thrilling storyline about the tragedy of a family.
- Dynamically changing game world based on player decisions.
While it's still in development and looks a little jittery at times, Ad Infinitum's unique take on the setting makes it one to watch. The title is coming to PS5 and PS4 on 20 April, 2023.

Yeah, very jittery but does look nice. Plenty of potential.
This looks promising . Very atmospheric. Reminds me of an early Jamie Bell movie called Death Watch set in the German trenches of World War I. Should be a nice change of pace for horror fans.
Damn, this looks great. Looking excellent for Alpha footage.
Oh yes. What a perfect setting for horror. The world wars have always been underutilised for this genrem
Oh shiiiiiiiit bring that here.
Im all over this !
Definitely picking this one up!
For some reason i can't explain, maybe the setting, I immediately thought of F.E.A.R . With that type of vibe this looks like a purchase
Many games like this looks unfinished to me. Ok, you created the environment, but did you forget about the gameplay?
Same thought here, I love the movie Deathwatch and instantly thought of it. Would be very cool to have something like it in game form.
Obligatory "your choices have consequences" mechanic. Intriguing setting, generic promotion.
@Humaniac Alpha footage what more do you want them to say.
