Re: Review: Star Wars Battlefront 2 (PS4)

Id have to give the game a 7 or 8 I can't agree with everything the reviewer says
The campaign was enjoyable for me so far and it gives you a chance to get the hang of the characters in the game. I love the multiplayer some modes work better than others when trying to achieve certain milestones and challenges! Progression for your characters is balanced and honestly the cards have nothing to add as far as doing more damage with your weapon only modifications to your play style it really shouldn't take that long to progress unless you are really really bad.
Milestones and challenges give rewards which help further unlock cards they also unlock weapon attachments the only cards that really effect character is maybe a health buff but still doesn't mean anything in game especially in a team!

Re: Review: NieR: Automata (PS4)

@NimrodsSon I get that he doesn't want to spoil it but it shouldn't be hard to tell me if the game is good or not without spoilers.

The biase I'm getting from the review is based on the score and how the review tells u to stick with it because it gets better but the description given doesn't really say how really! Does the combat evolve dramatically or is more of the same just different areas interest.

Good to hear your enjoying it!

Re: Review: NieR: Automata (PS4)

This review was not helpful in the least, it seemed more biased and vague more then anything. I got" the game has a few issues but if you stick with it then it gets better but likely one play through and you will put it down" first impressions have a very high impact in the game industry which is why NoManSky happened. This game shouldn't rate at an 8 if it doesn't grab u at all in its first play through issues all included in the package.
atleast recommend picking it up for a cheaper price instead of just jumping in!

Not sure why the comparison to SFV/IV! This review feels like you just played KoF and SFV at the same time to get a feel for what you like and didn't like. Bias in a review does not make for a good read!

Re: Talking Point: Would You Upgrade to a Supercharged PS4?

BoltedArc

Lol some of these comments are very closed minded indeed. If and this is a BIG IF!!! Sony decided to allow for upgrades like close to what nintendo did with the rumble pack i would be in favor. Adding on to the PS4 after a few years isnt a big issue. Money is the main concern, paying 50 to 100 to upgrade maybe 150$ wouldn't be a deal breaker in my opinion. Atleast then devs and big corporations can't make excuses as to why this runs like that or why graphics don't look like what they showed initially!

Re: One of Your Free April PlayStation Plus Games Has Already Been Revealed

BoltedArc

I pre-ordered this game and played the beta and the video doesn't do it justice. This game is more like a moba fighting for lanes and eventually earning enough points to cap the last base and destroy it. The ships all have different abilities and excel at different game play. I can honestly say this is a great game to have in any library all it really needs is a bigger community.

Re: Game of the Year: #10 - Destiny: The Taken King (PS4, PS3)

BoltedArc

This was scrap to me, the vanilla base game was bad but to shake down players for money for content doubled in price from the other lackluster dlc and re-release it as a final product nah. Those that play it still are really hardcore fans of the game
and honestly if they offered money back on for it when it first released i would have returned it immediately!

Re: Review: Destiny: The Taken King (PS4)

That price is too much to ignore but even so! Acting like its just the money that puts you off is pure stupidity. You paid X amount of money for a mediocre experience in the original most would say it was an alpha or beta experience yet still pay X amount for a couple of missions & one raid lol! The new threat in the game isn't even new, the majority that would pay for an experience that falls below standard just because parts of the game are solid.
Justification on a purchase only to fuel a solid agenda of doing bare minimum work to scratch the itch of giving you new content. Bungie figured it out a year later and players rejoice and buy overpriced dlc but who am i to say this will result in bad business practices later. Now that they figured it out will they deliver another HoW or DB more then likely. (I Hope I Am Wrong) if you have fun with this repetitious game more power to you and the friends you roll with!

Re: Soapbox: Why PS4's Indie Influx Isn't as Bad as You Think

BoltedArc

I guess it all depends on the buyer!
Why did you buy a Ps4? Was it the game line up or the promise of a higher standard. So far the resolution gate debacle has died down but if you weigh this generation indies with last generation with the exception of a few they all look the same minus or plus a few mechanics. This doesn't mean you can't have fun with them but once you play a few you get that [i played them all] feeling.

Re: Here's the Difference Between God of War III on PS3 and PS4

BoltedArc

I don't see a difference in the quality of the game! Only the frame rate remains at a constant 60fps which makes the gameplay much more fluid but other then that the difference between them is very small. Not worth the money imo, instead of bringing this they should have made a new GoW and brought that out!

Re: E3 2015: Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 5 Looks Crap

BoltedArc

What are you ppl expecting from a skating game? Geez some of you def need to stop with the graphics this and that. Its a skating game not an rpg sheesh, i think alot of you are responsible for games being so sub par lately. Please tell me you guys aren't buying games to look at them for how realistic they look, otherwise go outside and skate!
-nvm forget this post!
