@Oram77 Did the same....Cronos & Silent Hill f but I also got Hell is Us as it sounded like a sleeper hit. And it truly was/is! I think a lot of folks get thrown off by the souls-like labels (it's not) and the lack of hand holding but I think the latter is refreshing. Although ngl there were times I had to look up a guide lol. It's well worth the purchase, although I'd argue $50 would be more fitting.

@Robocod Been waiting for the RE 2/3 PS Plus release date announcement. Hella excited to replay these. Hopefully we can get SH1 on PS Plus now. I can always fire up my PS3 but it'd be nice to have all these classic survival horrors readily available on my PS5!

Btw, do we know what time PS Plus games are released?

I feel like the word "dystopian" sometimes gets thrown around a bit too much, but in cases like this, it's entirely appropriate and valid.

Bloober is cooking AND seasoning it seems. I know they also have 4 other untitled projects on deck. Here's to hoping after selling a million copies of SH2R, they can get funded to expand their team and that two of those other projects are a remake of any of the other 3 SH games!

As a gamer on ALL platforms and also as a Sony fan, we really need to stop with the copium/hopium. It'll probably be an Xbox exclusive and if it is, we can't be mad as PS has Spidey and Wolverine. And as someone who owns an XSX, I'm good anyway...

@CupidStunt To each their own, ig. But all the bonus stuff like the rogue-like mode and the commentary and yes, even the "guitar hero" mode is worth the $10 upgrade for me. And for anyone who hasn't played TLoU Part 2, I think they can justify the $70 price tag, although $60 would be more ideal.

For those looking for the demo and can't find it, when you find the game info page where you can add to wishlist, click the 3 dots on the right and it should show "demo" in a submenu. Sony should really fix this as it's not the most intuitive way to find it.

@JayJ Same! I have a fairly decent PC with an RTX 3070, 5600x, 32 GB of RAM and all the other bells and whistles but for some reason, I always find myself gaming from the comfort of my bed on PS5, XSX, or Switch. Idk why?

@WolfyTn I get the concern about burn-in, but the new tech in these LG OLEDs, especially from the C9 and up are up-to-standards enough that you needn't worry about burn in. Unless you keep static images on the screen for multiple hours at a time or watch way too much CNN or Fox News. As far as QLED better than OLED tho? That's demonstrably false. I'm sorry but you just cannot beat true, inkly blacks and infinite contrast. Sure, the C9, CX, C1 may not have the best peak nits for HDR, but it's absolutely well-known that OLEDs are superior. Okay, lemme step off this soapbox. As long as you're happy with your purchase, that's all that matters at the end of the day!

Hopefully one day, OLED tech will be good enough where burn-in isn't even a concern.

I thought The Medium was a great game with an interesting story and unique game mechanic (although not quite as unique as say, Eternal Darkness), but yeah, the movement was very sluggish and annoying. Also, as someone who is neurodivergent, I don't see how they butchered the message of mental health? May just be me...
