@LiamCroft Not really. There’s a big difference between a Showcase and a State of Play for example. Regardless if this “spotlight stream” is referred to as a Showcase the day before the biggest Showcase of the last two years then I don’t think you can blame people for thinking you were referring to that.

I’m glad they have separate trophies but hopefully opening every chest etc wont be too much of a slog.

Already got the platinum. Far too much else to play to be getting involved with NG+ on any game.

Can you play the emulated games online though?

@rjejr Fortnite doesn’t have HDR so playing the PS4 version on a non-HDR TV won’t make any difference

@OrtadragoonX If you’re playing at 120fps you also lose Nanite, Lumen and the improved shadows. These features are only available at 60fps.

@Olmaz @Jackpaza0508 Actually Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 1 used UE 5 in December last year, just before Matrix Awakens demo. Chapter 4 uses UE 5.1

Is there actually any difference at all in the PS4/PS5 versions? Does PS5 version even support VRR (not built in but general PS5 app VRR) so it would smooth out any drops?

Reason I ask is I still have a PS4 in the other room and you can’t use PS5 saves but I could play PS4 version on either console with cloud save.

@Fiendish-Beaver Not being sarcastic but can’t think of any mainstream multiplatform series that Sony have paid multiple billion dollars to acquire the studio and publisher to then make the series exclusive? Most of their games like Spiderman and Uncharted etc are home grown. It makes sense that Halo etc are exclusive to Xbox since they created it but why for example would you spend nearly 100 billion on say EA and make FIFA exclusive to one platform?

@riceNpea The question WAS referencing the inferior graphics but not compared to gameplay. The question was “Is it worth playing a graphically inferior version of tbe game just so the save data is recognised by future games and rewarded” this has nothing to do with gameplay between the Switch and PS4 version.

@riceNpea your answer doesn’t match the question. Yes graphics don’t trump gameplay but the gameplay is the same if not better with QOL on the better graphics version.
