Because PC elitists became a parody of themselves as soon as someone uttered "PC master race" unironically. I can't even think of that sentence being said without the slightest trace of irony due to the obvious drawbacks there are to PC gaming.
(Preemptive edit: In case anyone calls me out on not elaborating the drawbacks, here goes. A gaming PC can be more powerful than any console, provided its user keeps investing in upgrades. Meanwhile, consoles set a cap for what they can and can't do, meaning all software houses have to adhere to each standard, making console gaming insanely cheaper than any PC.)

And of course you guys just had to give these news a "a-ha, we were right in saying Sony doesn't need crossplay" spin. Um, no?
Cross-play can be abused by PC cheaters, yes. That doesn't automatically make cross-play a bad thing.

Well, duh. It's Sony's only handheld, at the moment - what with PS Store being unaccessible via PSP and Nintendo Switch showing that yes, handhelds actually have a habit of, y'know, selling, Sony might as well as make the most out of it.

Said it before, will say again - I can't stress enough how much I love the DualSense's design. I'm not ruling out PS5 as a companion piece to my Switch, given how Xbox 360 and Xbox One have filled that third-party purpose instead of, say, PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4.

Given I've been a grumpy contrarian around here due to being a Nintendo fan, let me be positive for once: this controller looks amazing.
I love everything about its design.

Bold indeed. Once graphics can simulate reality to a tee, the constant cold war between consoles just has to move somewhere else - games' size, length, shading, load times, you name it. But graphics? Ho ho ho, no sir. Games' fun factor is going to take the spotlight once again.
I think whichever console has always been a runner-up in terms of raw power is going to be on equal grounds with the buff boys in a few years. Once that happens, well...

You win some, you lose some.

As a Nintendo fan (who got his gaming start on PS1, mind you), I'm always quick to defend the Wii U (despite Nintendo themselves having had its failure coming).
Being backside-hurt over exclusives (or, worse yet, coming-to-every-console-except-yours kind of exclusives) is all fine and dandy, but I've never said that - in a reverse example - "I'm sick of seeing games only coming to PS4 because of a few teraflops more, they should come to Nintendo Switch because it can be taken on the go".
Of course, being a Nintendo fan already and also being a portable kind of guy made my love for Switch an obligatory choice, but I'm not going to say PS4 is a bad console or anything like that.

I doubt it. The game is confirmed for Switch already.
Switch eventually got both the actual Breath of The Wild as well as its knockoff, in the end.

You're right, taking games away from such a purgatory was enough of a priority that the PlayStation 4 port was the last one to be unlocked, at five times the Switch version's price. Crazy, right?
PlatinumGames went on to explain that the first Wonderful 101 was produced by Nintendo, which means all other versions have been funded with Nintendo's explicit consent. What even were the odds?

We're talking about the same game director who completed Persona 5 before putting Joker in Smash.
