Really wanted to like Expeditions but I realized it was the worst parts of snowrunner to me. Trying to climb mountains and stuff, I'm just not good at that. Vastly preferred roadcraft as a Snowrunner fan.

It sounds like we're giving gooners more credit than they usually get in that case. Though this is just one person's review, whether people actually buy it will be more telling. I've already seen some trying to defend the flaws away on other's video reviews so there is a contingent of consumers that truly will buy the game just for the...other content, even after hearing the actual gameplay sucks.

When you compare this to a game look Stellar Blade it visually looks awful. For sex to sell it actually has to, you know, look appealing.

All I can say is give Route 96 a try if you haven't guys. It's a bit of a different experience but somehow feels sort of LiS to me and it's just a really well done game in general.

It seems like they aren't able to capture the same magic unless they keep going back to these 2 characters.

Overtime is a byproduct of mismanagement. When the higher ups screw something up it's your head on the platter and you say "thank you sir" because if you don't, why you just go ahead and look for another job. Nevermind that your resume will have a nasty spot for quitting because you didn't want to pick up others' slack.

My only opinion this time is that if you are so anti AI that you want to shut down any game that uses it to save the employees from losing their jobs.....what do you think that actually means? When a game does poorly is it the executives and managers that get fired? No, it's the rank and file developers who are first to get the axe. The very people you are claiming to protect from big bad AI... you're dooming them to unemployment if your boycotts actually succeed.

People just don't have leisure money anymore. Everything goes to food, bills and other necessities. We're winning so hard right now guys.

This is exactly what I was talking about in the last article. People see the words AI and immediately shut their brains down and go into full on rage mode. They don't try to look for context or clarification, they go straight to the witch hunt. As I've said before this parallels how people react when they assume anything is DEI or Woke. Once again, those who pick either side are proving to be two halves of the same coin.

You can now consider this to be the final boss of the base game and it was an appropriately epic multi stage hunt. If you haven't played it in a while I think it's time to dive back in. You can always add AI hunters to help you if you don't like to play with others.

Abiotic Factor came out on PlayStation this year so that easily gets my vote. It's also the only game I played that came out this year so I'm not voting.

I think we need to reclassify what indie actually means.

No banner progress carryover and lack of 50/50 are a major turn off in this day and age. The game itself looks amazing visually and there's a lot of representation here (native speaker voice actors) but I don't think that'll be enough for me to jump into a more predatory Gacha than I've gotten used to with ZZZ and similar.

Considering it's already so deep into development, this means that they're still holding onto what was thought to be fun and popular a few years ago.

I can't believe its actually been defeated. "Too big to fail"....well the bigger they are the harder they fall.

Megaman gets the ports, Ace Attorney gets the remakes and DMC gets the new games.

I don't disagree with you but it's already here. These things are already being implemented. The systems are still clumsy and rudimentary but the plans are already in place. We're not in the experiment phase, these corporations have already rolled them out and since there's not widespread condemnation, I'd say they've won. Little robots that take your order, self driving cars, AI delivery bots... they're already out in the wild. Again, this is like trying to push a boulder uphill. These things are here to stay. I don't think AI will ever completely take over game making but we have to start coming to terms with the fact that they'll eventually be used in every game to some capacity.

People seem to believe this is going to happen but I really don't see AI vanishing with how integrated its becoming. Do a Google search? AI is there. Look something up on Amazon? AI is summarizing the reviews. Hoping for its death is the same as being a Luddite and thinking you could stop the textile industry from becoming mechanized.

Progress always causes some pain but this isn't something like NFTs that immediately struck out.

AI has become another buzzword like DEI and woke. If something looks slightly off? AI. Throw it in the garbage. Don't wait for any clarifications. Doom it to failure. Make sure everyone loses their jobs.

Congratulations, you have become the same sort of ridiculous people you have always claimed to despise.

If they can get Age of Empires at least playable with a controller then TW should be fine.

While it's not perfect it's still a really fun game. Most importantly it's the only monster hunter you and your friends can play regardless of your platform of choice (except Nintendo).

Funny because I literally just bought Satisfactory 2 days ago. The controls are so intuitive and building an efficient factory is so satisfying. If Abiotic Factor hadn't come out this year I'd say Satisfactory is the most fun I've had playing something in 2025.

I think the biggest problem here is that they don't give you a discount if you already bought the original version. I think that's all they really need to regain goodwill.

I expect whatever they make will be another big success for them.

"Money? Well yes, I want more money." I don't think any more thought was put into the statement beyond that.

They want to do all the fun stuff and crossovers that F2P games already do...but they charge you an entry fee first. As F2P quality continues to grow, people are going to increasingly look at games like this and wonder if the initial purchase is worth the money.

Now we need to get people to stop buying Pokemon games. Though that might be a harder challenge than weaning people off CoD.

Then they know you're probably a die-hard fan and you'll keep buying premium, so they don't feel the need to give you an incentive to stay.

I'd certainly like my wallet to "inflate" to meet these rising costs but that's an entirely separate issue that we've just come to accept as a society as "the way things are."

Funny how they'd criticize a game's micro transactions as predatory and yet forked over cash when Sony and the rest of the industry began charging more for games and subscriptions.

The people you are asking not to buy this don't visit Push Square. They don't go to any gaming websites or check out reviews or anything. They see a new CoD in stores and mindlessly buy it. That's the kind of audience that CoD thrives on. The ultra casual, buy and play only 1 or 2 games every year crowd.

I don't know how people play action games on a phone without physical buttons...

I say this as a PlayStation fan but if Valve nail the price then I'll likely switch to steam for most of my gaming, especially since Sony seems keen on porting their first party games to PC anyways. The fact that you can also install whatever apps you want only sweetens the deal.

The thing is, the original saints row actually wasn't super great. It was basically just a copy of GTA at the time. It was only when they embraced the craziness that the series really came into its own.

Yep, the disrespect for TABS is frankly unwarranted. Not every game has to be a deep emotional story to be worth your time.

TABS is goofy fun. Don't knock it just because the name is dumb.

Seems like a cool collector's item I guess. I've seen people pay $1000 for a piece of cardboard.
