Sorry but I'm a hypocrite and am preordering the founder's edition. I just can't say no to Civ. Civ 6 was my most played game probably ever and I know this one will be more of the same.

Gamepass is too good a deal for me to buy Microsoft games on PlayStation.

Yeah you're right, People would sub to Gamepass and drop Plus in a heartbeat.

Looks like the predecessor to Dokapon Kingdom... just without the fun multiplayer aspect.

Steven hates the character that put him on the map. Meanwhile Michael and Franklin's actors absolutely love every season of the attention they get.

The best part of the first KC was the ability to leave the main story aside and simply live the medieval life. Keep this mantra...and fix the combat...and I'll be beyond satisfied.

I mean, considering how annoying it is to get the first 2 sims games running I'll take a bare bones port at this point.

I wonder what would stop them from releasing the PC versions on modern consoles? I'm sure it would only need a bit of reconfiguring for controller.

I kind of feel like Ragnarok was losing steam with me by the end. I'm not sure I could play another god of war game in this style.

Yes the topic of censorship is pretty important to me so probably the wrong guy to crack a joke with.

It's just funny to me how people come in and throw a fit when Japan censors gore, standing on some moral high ground as if their own country doesn't censor. It's almost like sensibilities change with time...things like...say...some revealing outfits on women? "Yeah...but that's pervert stuff, that's different ya incel!" You can't protest on thing while embracing the other. For the record I think censorship is bad ALL the time, not only when it's convenient for me.

I tried it due to the overwhelming hype and just couldn't get into it at the time. I might need to just give it another go.

I have a Series S and a digital version PS5. Steam Decks are also digital only and if Nintendo sells a cheaper digital only switch 2 I'll buy that as well.

I was eagerly awaiting Veilguard since the day I finished Inquisition. It did take way too long to come out but I still would have bought it...if it felt like the proper follow up to Inquisition. When I took a look at the trailers and previews though, I knew it wasn't the Dragon Age that it used to be.

I thought that after the game released we'd finally get to stop seeing articles about this game. Please let's just forget this game exists like we do with Andromeda.

Yes because they stopped iterating on it to focus on making it more of an action game. Funnily enough, the Hitman games have done a much better job at the social stealth than Ass Creed ever did and it's what I've always preferred.

If I had to guess Yasuke is the culmination of dumbing down the gameplay mechanics until it's basically just a button mash action game. To this day I still don't understand why some people buy assassin's creed games if they hate stealth.

Sometimes I wonder if our ancestors protested every time some new automation came along and took away jobs. The Luddites existed and the struggle seems at least vaguely similar to what's going on with AI. I can only see people getting more and more upset but let's look at the end result...the textile industry is using automated machines. Adapt or die in the end I guess.

Considering how much Veilguard was shoved in our faces it absolutely is a sorry number. Heck I think even my TV was reminding me to go buy Veilguard and I had never seen game ads on there before.

You'd think the most loyal would get rewarded but nope, they're treated as piggy banks.

I feel like it'd get repetitive fast if they didn't add more characters and variety. Chasing one more stat point on your gear wouldn't be enough to keep me interested for long.

People that complain that there is no more creativity in modern gaming don't play indie games.

I'll see if I can get through takes of arise and scarlet Nexus. Bulletstorm should be a quick run if I feel like it. Though once February comes around I'll be too busy with kingdom come 2, Monster Hunter Wilds and Civ 7 to worry about any other games for a long time.

20 million is a drop in the bucket to Hoyoverse btw. Nothing changes and a few people get to buy some yachts, what a scummy system.

Also, funny how EA basically does the same with their sports games but essentially get a pass in the US. This is another case of "If the US can't control it, we're going to punish it."

It borrows a lot and I mean A LOT from Castlevania (to the point they tossed in Castlevania as DLC) so I can see the difficulty in a movie adaptation. If you stick close to the game's lore, it'll probably feel like Castlevania. If you don't, then it will feel like the film just has the name slapped on it.

Please be good. The game seems to be making bold changes and I hope they pay off.

They're probably worried that PC players will crack the game open And reveal its running on paper clips and bubblegum.

Does seem like Nintendo had a plan of attack to utterly demolish Sony's efforts to continue to break into the handheld market.

I'll continue to say there's nothing wrong with live services. Look at the Gacha juggernauts, they make money hand over fist. Marvel Rivals is a Live Service game as well. The problem is, and I'll repeat ad nauseum, Sony continues to try to tap into the incorrect market. Twitter does not play video games. Make games for gamers again.

Absolutely not. I do not want to encourage this trend of rereleasing the same games over and over again, even if the difference has only been a couple of years. If this is the plan then I won't even purchase new IPs and will simply wait for the improved version to release in 5 years time.

The switch 2 looks so underwhelming that announcing a new PlayStation portable might knock the wind out of Nintendo's sails. Just like Nintendo did when they dropped the 3DS price and released a Mario Kart just before the Vita released.

They're really hyping this up like crazy, hopefully it delivers.

As a resident of California the gesture is appreciated. We actually get big forest fires every year so that was nothing new but not having any rain and tons of wind made it a true recipe for disaster. It also didn't help that leadership bungled the response at every turn -even sending us evacuation warnings just to say "just kidding, wrong place!" 30 minutes later- and made things much worse. Luckily I wasn't affected (besides the rotted air in my lungs) but my heart goes out to the people that lost everything in a day.

Would it be so bad if there were bots in quickplay? If you want to take it sweaty and serious you can scream at each other in ranked.

It's a great value and the industry does not want great value.

I think black flag was the first game I got with my PS4. Good memories there, Ubisoft was still pretty great. It wasn't until Unity that I felt buyers remorse with the company.

I want more of the rarer PS2 JRPGs to make a return. Unfortunately a lot of those studios have since gone out of business, so there is no one left to contact.
